Cilj studije je da primenom fokus grupe identifikujemo šta zapravo predstavlja kvalitet života za beskućnike i ljude koje imaju istoriju beskućničkog načina života, kao i koji su aspekti života njima najvažniji. Za analizu odgovora ispitanika korišćena je analiza sadržaja. Uzorak čini ukupno 43 ispitanika koji su razvrstani u šest fokus grupa, uzrasta od 25 do 65 godina. Ustanovljeni su sledeći aspekti kvaliteta života: zdravlje i briga o zdravlju, uslovi života, finansijska situacija, mogućnost zaposlenja, društveni odnosi, rekreativne aktivnosti i hobi, psihičko blagostanje. Kroz ove teme je razmatrana mogućnost izbora, stabilnost i sigurnost, ravnopravnost sa drugim članovima društva s obzirom na ostvarenost ljudskih prava. Ispitivani aspekti kvaliteta života reflektuju specifičan kontekst i životna iskustva osoba koje žive na ulici i s obzirom na to, neophodno je da se uloži napor u formiranje ili adaptaciju postojećih instrumenta koji će meriti efekte socijalne i zdravstvene politike na kvalitet života beskućnika. Postojeći instrumenti imaju ograničenja i ne uključuju specifične aspekte života beskućnika koji se u velikoj meri razlikuju u odnosu na život opšte populacije, tako da slabo detektuju promene. Na ovaj način, nakon adekvatnih istraživanja koja mere uspeh mera socijalne zaštite koje imaju za cilj dobrobit beskućnika, znaćemo rezultate primenjenih mera. Takođe, treba sprovesti promenu zdravstvene i socijalne politike, odnosno trijažu beskućnika i pre svega ponuditi pomoć i podršku onima koji će odgovoriti aktivnim angažovanjem sa ciljem da sebi pomognu i žive stabilan i sređen život.

Cilj. Rad pokazuje teorijsku i praktičnu realizaciju projekta Knjige naših ulica u novozagrebačkom naselju Botinec, kroz sudioničko upravljanje javnih ustanova i udruga, odnosno mogućnost aktivnog uključenja svih stanovnika lokalne zajednice u raznim umjetničkim aktivnostima i promociji čitanja, kojim se htjela kapitalizirati činjenica kako je to jedino zagrebačko naselje kojem su gotovo sve ulice imenovane po likovima iz hrvatskih književnih djela, na primjer Ulica šegrta Hlapića, Ulica Šenoine Branke, Ulica Zlatarova zlata, Ulica Pere Kvržice i dr., ali i omogućiti građanima aktivno sudjelovanje u upravljanju lokalnom zajednicom. Pristup. Rad je nastao temeljom aktivnog sudjelovanja u projektu Knjige naših ulica sufinanciranom iz Socijalnog fonda EU-a te kronološkim praćenjem njegove realizacije u kontekstu promicanja kulturnih događanja, likovne umjetnosti i čitanja u lokalnoj zajednici. Projekt je provođen u razdoblju od prosinca 2018. godine u trajanju od 18 mjeseci, ali je usporen sredinom veljače 2020., a onda i privremeno obustavljen zbog epidemije COVID-19. Završit će 31. listopada 2020. Rezultati. Provedba projekta u razdoblju od 15 (18) mjeseci pokazala je kako se zajedničkim radom nekoliko partnera, odnosno javnih ustanova i udruga, može mobilizirati građane na aktivno sudjelovanje u planiranju lokalnog razvoja i donošenje odluka o javnim pitanjima te omogućiti raspodjelu moći, afirmaciju, razvoj i ponovno stvaranje kulture te u konačnici pridonijeti jačanju demokracije. Provedba projekta pokazala je i slabosti čije izbjegavanje može pomoći u planiranju i provedbi novog projekta. Originalnost. Rad pokazuje kako sudioničkim upravljanjem u kulturi lokalna zajednica nije više pasivna pozornica za izvođenje kulturnih sadržaja, nego se aktivno uključuje u njihovo stvaranje i provođenje. Realizacija projekta ostvaruje članak 27. Opće deklaracije o ljudskim pravima po kojem „svatko ima pravo slobodno sudjelovati u kulturnom životu zajednice“1. Ovo je jedan od rijetkih projekata koji izravno „izlazi na ulicu“, dakle okuplja sve, jer nije ograničen zgradom, nego se proteže cijelim naseljem.

Ovaj rad daje pregled brojnih pristupa i alata koji mogu dovesti do značajne prostorne i funkcionalne transformacije gradskih ulica s ciljem poboljšanja kvalitete života u urbanim sredinama. Pristupi variraju od onih tradicionalnih tzv. top-down pristupa do recentnih, suvremenih, neformalnih, kreativnih i adaptabilnih bottom-up pristupa koji podrazumijevaju izravnu fizičku intervenciju i participaciju građana.

Ústředním tématem plánovaného textu je vytváření identity městského prostoru skrze kulturně ustálené formy vzpomínání, a také reprodukce sociálních nerovností skrze vytěsňování vzpomínek marginalizovaných obyvatel na okraj zájmu i společenského žebříčku hodnot. Na teoretické rovině se text věnuje vztahu sociologického utváření vědomí o místě a vzpomínání. Zde se opírá především o texty Pierra Norry, Jefreyho Alexandra, Radima Marady, Csaby Szaló, Talji Blokland Davida Sibleyho a Ryana Centnera. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována perspektivě sousedství a sousedských vztahů, stejně jako utváření vztahu k městu jako místu všedního života ve smyslu utváření domova jako místa rodinného života (v kontrastu k např. místu nerezidentní realizace kariéry, prostoru zábavy a konzumu či místu turistických návštěv). Na rovině empirické text pracuje se dvěma sadami poznatků, přičemž obě se váží na prostor tzv. brněnského Bronxu (ulice Bratislavská a Cejl a okolí). Jedna tvoří kulturní milieu vzpomínání na osídlení této oblasti Němci a jejich následné vyhnání v roce 1945. Literární reprezentace těchto událostí v knize Kateřiny Tučkové Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch ukazuje zacházení s židovskou, německou, českou, ale také romskou stopou v prostoru. Druhá sada poznatků pochází z rozhovorů s pamětníky příchodu slovenských Romů do Brna po roce 1945, které realizovali v roce 2012 potomci přistěhovalců ze Slovenska, socioložky a filmoví dokumentaristé.

The topic of the diploma’s thesis is a proposal of revitalization of the former industrial area in Prague, Vysočany. The neighborhood that was in the past in the suburbs of Prague near the railway is now barely used or not used for the benefit of the city district and its users. The proposal is based on creating an active environment that would correspond to the modern running of the city and serve the needs of its inhabitants. The urban-architectural study respects the current trends of the locality and ongoing development projects, which will significantly influence the appearance and functioning of Vysočany district. In particular, the given locality is characterized by the lack of urban life, as it is mainly the industrial district, as well as the center itself, which would correspond to a major urban district. An important part of the whole concept was the intervention of the area with the new city boulevard Kolbenova. The aim of the thesis is a proposal that would be based on the needs of Prague as a metropolitan city, therefore the proposal respects the currently discussed Metropolitan Plan, which allows high-rise development in the given locality. The study seeks to create sufficient housing capacity and opportunities that represent the potential for the entire city district and can respond to the demand of the population for quality living in the city according to current standards relating to the capital city of Prague.

My thesis follows up life and work of Bohumil Schweigstill, teacher and puppeteer living in First Republic of Czechoslovakia. First chapter is about social situation in Příbram, about his childhood and studies in this famous mining area. Then it focuses on the beginning of his career as a teacher at Klatovsko and subsequent move to Prague, where until the end of the 30s of the 20th century has taught at several schools. Thesis then makes a closer look at his puppeteering work in Prague theater in Vladislavova street and theatre in the garden of Kinský, monitors normal operation of both theatres, structure of performances, ensemble and repertoire. Stand-alone chapter is devoted to Schweigstill's dramas and its benefit for forms of puppet - Punch, because he was one of the first to come up with a brand new concept. The final chapter then examines his tenure at the magazine Little Reader and Heart, as well as end of his life, where despite leaving both of its own puppet theaters, he didin't hesitate to help other amateur and professional theatre groups, and finally the overall contribution that Schweigstill's playwright and theatrical activity had. This paper looks at the issue of homelessness from an emic perspective of a homeless people themselves. The categories under discussion here, and the order of importance in which they are presented arises from the context of the street and has been determined by the research itself. Besides a reference to a typology of homelessness it focuses primarily on the personal - individual strategies of survival, the needs of people on the street, their activities and economic behavior. In addition there is a space for the voice of homeless people's closest associates, charity workers. The paper also applies topics such as exclusion homeless people and outlines some possible solutions. The research methods employed are, semi- structured narrative interviews, participate and non-participate observation.

This dissertation offers a detailed analysis of the political publishing of Karel Horký (1879- 1965), one of the important but neglected Czech journalists in the first half of the twentieth century. It also seeks to contrast his life with the contemporary political system, and describes how media texts are influenced by political, social or cultural milieu. A historical biographical method was used to explore the topic, and interpretation is divided chronologically into the compact periods of Horký's life and work. The dissertation shows that Czech journalism was devastatingly affected by political organizations and their leaders in the Czechoslovakia. The impartiality of journalists was essentially impossible. It also shows how different political regimes control, degrade, and exploit them.

The subject of this diploma thesis " Living street, model object neighbourhood Veveří in Brno" is the matter of Living street. Literary part gathers information about contemporary trends and strategies in foreign countries, which relate with the living street. Term Living street is described and the problems of live on the street are defined. Afterwards the troubleshooting is presented. Good examples in Czech republic are found out and the present condition is evaluated. Practical part engages model object neighbourhood Veveří in Brno. Model object is analyzed, and afterwards the problems are defined. Then the solutions are proposed. There is a strategy for the neighbourhood, which contain parking, system of greenery and support different types of traffic. All streets in neighbourhood are divided in several types. There are main principles for all types of street. The principles are applied to the particular streets. Aim of the thesis is defined idea for future progress of neighbourhood. In conclusion there is discussion about contemporary obstructions for this topic.

This thesis deals with ethical dimension of homeless people´s life and dying. It is devoted to ethical questions of homelessness phenomenon and is primary aimed at dignity and reasonability of life on the street, value system of homeless persons, influenced by the way of their life, and feeling about their own mortality. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse how the homeless people feel about the reasonability of life and their own mortality, in the framework of their value system, and about their responsibility for their situation or if they devolve it to others or state. Using qualitative research techniques it analyses realized controlled interviews with homeless persons in thier own environment, that helps to clarify their perception of life and dying on the street. Research aggregate was made up of 15 homeless persons living in the territory of the city České Budějovice.

U konzervatorskom elaboratu br. 3 obrađena je palača Vranyczany- Dobrinović u Ulici Andrije Hebranga 1 (k. č. 2495 k. o. Centar), danas sjedište različitih odjela i ureda HAZU (Odjel za zaštitu i održavanje imovine i kulturnih dobara, Odjel za izdavačku djelatnost, Financijsko-ekonomski odjel, Odsjek za etnologiju, Odsjek za narodni život i običaje, uredi Razreda za likovne umjetnosti, Kabineta za arhitekturu i urbanizam i Razreda za tehničke znanosti, Kabinet grafike s izložbenom dvoranom i drugi), a najreprezentativniji dio palače zaprema Moderna galerija. Kao projekt bečkog arhitekta Otta von Hofera, građena od 1881. do 1883. za plemića Ljudevita Vranyczany-Dobrinovića, palača je u zagrebački Donji grad i u njegovu zelenu potkovu unijela novo mjerilo i novu kvalitetu, ostvarenu ekspresivnim pročeljem, naglašenim ugaonom edikulom, te raskošnim vestibulom, stubištem i dvoranama. U cjelovitoj obnovi nakon oštećenja u potresu pristupit će se i pomnoj restauraciji eksterijera s arhitektonskom plastikom i skulpturama, najvrjednijih dijelova interijera sa štukaturama, kao i dvorišta s vrtom.
