Muži, kteří se stávají otci, procházejí dvěma hlavními změnami: tranzicí k otcovství a přechodem uvnitř otcovství. Na tyto změny je možné pohlížet jako na změny v uvědomování si biologického a sociálního otcovství. Obě zmeny jsou významné z pohledu budování otcovské (rodičovské) role a budovaní vztahu k dítěti. Následující studie se zaměří na bariéry, které mohou tyto změny zpomalit, omezit nebo jim zabránit. Text se bude soustředit na bariéry osobního a společenského charakteru. Speciální pozornost bude věnovaná bariérám přechodu uvnitř otcovství, ktoré mají zvláštní význam z pohledu vlivu na životní cyklus dítěte, rodiče a rodiny.

Výzkumy efektivity školního vzdělávání poukázaly na význam přesvědčení a postojů učitelů pro vyučování a učení žáků. Přesvědčení a postoje zásadně ovlivňují chování učitelů a jejich přístup k žákům a jejich rodičům. Změna přesvědčení je nezbytným předpokladem pro změnu práce učitelů a vzdělávání obecně. Přesvědčení učitelů jsou v pedagogickém výzkumu konceptualizována mnoha různými způsoby, tato studie si klade za cíl lokalizovat nástroje na měření konceptu akademického optimismu. Akademický optimismus je konceptualizován ve dvou podobách – jako kolektivní charakteristika pedagogického sboru a jako individuální charakteristika každého jednotlivého učitele – a kombinuje tři důležité aspekty učitelova profesního kréda: vnímání vlastních učitelských dovedností a možností pedagogické práce, důvěru k žákům a jejich rodičům a důraz na studijní výsledky. Studie lokalizuje oba koncepty a klade si za cíl vybrat vhodnější z nich pro české prostředí. Zároveň zkoumá souvislost mezi akademickým optimismem a výsledkem žáků. V analýzách jsou využita data z šetření na 39 základních školách získaná od 325 učitelů a 1316 žáků 9. ročníků v rámci šetření projektu Kalibro v roce 2016. Dvouúrovňová konfirmační analýza ukázala použitelnost obou modelů, přičemž vhodnějším pro české prostředí se jeví model individuální. Dvouúrovňové strukturní modelování neprokázalo na tomto limitovaném výběru žáků souvislost mezi akademickým optimismem a výsledky žáků v matematice, tuto souvislost bude nutno ověřit na reprezentativním výběru s využitím testů více zohledňujících současnou kurikulární normu.

Dne 23. 7. 2019 předložila skupina 67 poslanců návrh ústavního zákona, jehož cílem je změna čl. 43 Ústavy České republiky spočívající v posílení pravomocí vlády při rozhodování o vyslání ozbrojených sil ČR mimo území ČR a o pobytu ozbrojených sil jiných států na území ČR a o přeletu nebo průjezdu ozbrojených sil jiných států přes území ČR. Novelizace mj. reaguje na skutečnost, že „podle dosavadní úpravy by například bylo mimořádně obtížné včasné vyslání ozbrojených sil ČR za účelem záchrany životů občanů ČR protiprávně zadržovaných v zahraničí nebo občanů, jejichž životy jsou v ohrožení v důsledku živelních katastrof.“ Vzhledem k tomu, že je návrh předkládán poslanci napříč politickým spektrem (včetně předsedů A. Babiše, J. Hamáčka, P. Fialy, M. Výborného a V. Rakušana), lze očekávat jeho přijetí. Článek se zabývá mezinárodněprávními souvislostmi navrhované novelizace Ústavy, které jsou v návrhu značně zjednodušeny a zodpovídá tak na otázku, zda současné mezinárodní právo umožňuje použití ozbrojené síly na území jiného státu za účelem ochrany vlastních občanů. Odpověď na tuto otázku má přitom zásadní význam, neboť – jak je dobře známo – ČR, a tedy i vláda, dodržuje závazky vyplývající z mezinárodního práva, přičemž těchto závazků se nemůže zprostit, a to ani odkazem na vlastní ústavní předpisy (srov. čl. 26 Vídeňské úmluvy o smluvním právu či čl. 3 Návrhu článků o odpovědnosti státu za mezinárodně protiprávní chování).

The aim of the thesis was to bring events after 1945, when there was a period of remembrance in the company , which served as a therapy , politics and aesthetics . Work on the memories gradually morphed into , among other things , to the monuments that act against collective oblivion . Arise place of remembrance , which relate to historical events and private stories . Partisan monuments fill in the country which they have to remind essentially absent . Again remembering you and gets to the surface again forgotten information that creating a logical connection form the structure . This structure is subject to change , which helped by rewriting and overlapping information in different layers of the structure . Neither art does not avoid the remembrance and forgetting , and creates a theme of a strategy , which is included rewriting . Media and individual override blank sheets in the past, currently , collecting and composing the mosaic , which allows you to create your own identity.

Cyclical component of aggregate net inventory investment in Czech republic between I.quarter 1996 and IV.quarter 2010 can be described by Production smoothing model, which says, that it is more advantageous for firms to absorb shocks of their product demand into inventories than to adjust their production permanently. This statement stands on a discovery, that cyclical component of net inventory investment is negativelly corralated with cyclical component of final sales and at the same time variability of cyclical component of final sales is higher than cyclical component of production (GDP). Although it is not possible to expect that every firm in the economy will behave according to this model, it seems, with respect to the analysis, that the cost of adjustment is one of the most important factors considered by firms within their optimalization problem.

The thesis “A Suggestion for the Improvement of the Company Culture in the Centre of Insurance” deals with the analysis of the corporate culture in the Centre of Insurance, a company that provides financial services. The main target of the thesis is to ascertain the power and standard of the corporate culture, as well as employees’ satisfaction. It aims to identify the elements of the corporate culture according to Schein’s model, and based on a questionnaire enquiry suggest such measures that would improve the corporate atmosphere and thereby contribute to the increase in the productivity of labour.

The diploma thesis deals with ecosystem services of blue-green infrastructure in urban areas and their influence on the quality of housing. Literary research focuses on current knowledge and approaches to blue-green infrastructure, with an emphasis on the impact on quality of life in cities. Blue-green infrastructure is part of many international and domestic climate change adaptation strategies and its implementation should be supported. The literary part defines conditions for successful use in cities and presents good examples from abroad and the Czech Republic. The practical part contains an alternative proposal for the planned development of the new city district of Brno-Maloměřice. The design has chosen the optimal solution for rainwater management and interconnection with green areas and public spaces. The appropriate solution was based on the evaluation of the benefits provided according to the methodology, which proved to be a useful tool in balancing green with impermeable surfaces for maximum benefit.

This doctoral dissertation is concerned with the dynamic processes that are at play in the development of the system of prepositions in contemporary Czech. In the first part, I review different treatments of prepositions as a word class in the Czech linguistic tradition. I use available descriptive accounts to discuss the features of two main subtypes of this category, i.e. primary and secondary prepositions, focusing in particular on the process of 'prepositionalization' of secondary prepositions, i.e. the grammaticalization path that leads to their emergence. The primary focus of the first part of the dissertation is the role of meaning and the semantic features of prepositions as function words, as well as the meaning which prepositions contribute to more complex linguistic items, i.e. the interrelation of prepositions and case marking and valency patterns derived from verbs. I also draw attention to prefixed words which are, in the majority of cases, derived from primary prepositions. I approach meaning mainly from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, employing also the view of construction grammar which treats prepositions both as constructions in their own right and as parts of higher order constructions. Iva Zvěřinová PhD Thesis Public Preferences for Environmental Policies and Behavioural Changes Abstract Environmental problems, such as climate change, are generally perceived as serious issues by the public in European countries. However, people tend to assign them a low policy priority and disagree with the introduction of some policy instruments, such as carbon tax. Few people also behave in an environmentally friendly way and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. What are the preferences of the inhabitants of several European countries regarding climate mitigation policies and behavioural changes? What makes these policies more acceptable for the public? Would people from these countries be willing to accept climate mitigation policies or behaviour, and if so, under what conditions? This thesis aims to answer these questions by applying a theoretical framework that integrates attitudes and perceptions with preferences. In the empirical part of the thesis, we analyse data from several questionnaire surveys on public responses to climate policies and climate-related behaviours in several European countries. This diploma thesis covers the individual citizens' perception of suburban events in order to discuss the point of view of the early modern Czech citizen and their ability to gain information of the world around through the analysis of such suburban events that were registered in the chosen chronicles, originating between the years 1575-1600, a period that is considered "a golden age of the Czech cities". First, the background of the chroniclers is outlined, because it might have influenced the choice of events they decided to include in their works, i.e. the position of the concrete city, the level of education in the said period or the author's personal life. Second, the general knowledge of the authors is described in the thesis through the means of analysis of the type of recorded information (e.g. Turkish wars, the deaths of famous persons, wildfires, councils and the like). In other words, the thesis is to point out what type of information was considered to be the most interesting or extraordinary to the wider public, and which circles were usually covered by the chroniclers.
