Summary Certain visionary threads of Florian Znaniecki’s thought present in his sociological theory of education merit our attention. They are associated with the concept of creating a grassroots movement of new sociality, capable of becoming a vehicle of reflexive social and cultural changes. The article deals with the comparative analysis of the projects of the science of science (Naukovedenie/Naukoznanie) proposed by the Soviet philosopher I. A. Borichesky and by the Polish-American philosopher and sociologist F. Znaniecki . Summary The aim of this paper is to present the cultural psychology project formulated by Florian Znaniecki. In the first part of the article, the authoress reconstructs the origin of this concept by reviewing the scholar’s early philosophical writings. Znaniecki wygłosił ten tekst na corocznym zjeździe Towarzystwa w 1954 roku, a następnie opublikował go na łamach American Sociological Review. Proponujemy także przedruk artykułu Znanieckiego, pod tytułem “The dynamics of social relations”, do którego autor odwołuje się w swoim „adresie”.
