ZusammenfassungInfektionen und Thrombosen sind die häufigsten Komplikationen bei zentralvenösen Kathetern (ZVK). Das Auftreten von katheterinduzierten Thrombosen kann durch das Material (z. B. Silikon und Polyurethan), geringe Dicke, bestimmte ZVK-Systeme, Vermeidung von Infektionen, korrekte Lage der ZVK-Spitze in der unteren Vena cava superior und durch kurze Liegedauer deutlich vermindert werden. Dagegen sind Thrombosefördernde, Katheter-unabhängige Faktoren (z. B. Tumorerkrankung), hohes Lebensalter, zusätzliche Strahlen- und Chemotherapie schwerer beeinflussbar. Neben Katheterbeschichtung, oralen Antikoagulanzien, Thrombozytenaggregationshemmern und Urokinase werden unfraktionierte und vor allem niedermolekulare Heparine zur Thromboseprophylaxe eingesetzt. Nach den positiven Ergebnissen der Studie von Monreal, einer multizentrischen Beobachtungsstudie und einer eigenen retrospektiven Analyse bei Patienten mit Portsystemen erhalten alle eigenen Patienten mit fortgeschrittenen gastrointestinalen Tumoren und palliativer Chemotherapie eine konsequente Prophylaxe mit NMH über mindestens 90 Tage. Mögliche zusätzliche Antitumoreffekte der NMH werden zurzeit evaluiert.

Abstract:
The theme of this diploma thesis is perception of time within the audiovisual work. Particular attention is paid to the audio component of the audiovisual work, from which perspective is seen the phenomenon of time. First there is briefly introduced understanding of time evolved within the philosophical context. The next part presents film as a medium that, from its formal nature, brings new impetus that further develops the thinking of time. After this introduction work focuses on the way of perceiving time within the sound itself, respectively in music composition. It is based on the findings of psychoacoustics and, above all, on the theoretical considerations of French composer Gérard Grisey, to which is trying to find parallels in the context of the sound dramaturgy of the film work. The last part deals with time relations arising from the relationship between film image and sound. It is trying to question and then generalize specific formal relationships within the audiovisual work, influencing the subjective perception of time.

Este trabalho trata sobre a utilização de técnicas de comutação suave aplicadas `a conversores estáticos de potência. A técnica analisada em particular consiste em proporcionar comutação em zero de tensão aos interruptores controlados, sendo referenciada na literatura como Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS). Dentre as diversas topologias de circuitos que implementam a técnica ZVS, neste trabalho é utilizada uma célula de comutação Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT), no qual utiliza interruptores controlados e elementos em paralelo com o circuito principal. O foco do trabalho é a aplicação desta célula ZVT a um conversor CC-CA PWM monofásico com saída senoidal. Nesse sentido inicialmente é feita uma revisão das topologias básicas dos inversores, é das técnicas PWM utilizadas para obtenção de saída senoidal. São apresentados os circuitos ZVT convencional e aprimorado descritos na literatura, no qual o ZVT aprimorado é empregado ao conversor CC-CA ponte completa. São apresentadas as etapas de funcionamento e análise matemática. É descrita uma metodologia de projeto para a determinação dos componentes do circuito auxiliar, com base em restrições definidas para o correto funcionamento da célula e das características dos semicondutores utilizados como chave. Um protótipo do conversor é implementado em laboratório para a validação do projeto, verificação das formas de onda nos interruptores e análise do rendimento. Outros dois circuitos de auxílio à comutação são implementados para efeitos de comparação, sendo o circuito ZVT convencional e o dissipativo snubber de Undeland. Os resultados experimentais comprovam a obtenção da comutação suave nos interruptores e o conversor apresentou rendimento de no mínimo 1% superior ao ZVT convencional e 2% ao snubber de Undeland, valores estes para toda a faixa de carga.
This paper discusses above the application of soft-switching techniques to static power conver-ters. The technique discussed in particular consists in provide zero voltage switching (ZVS) to controlled switches. Among the various circuit topologies to implement the ZVS technique, in this work is used a cell Zero-Voltage Transition (ZVT), in which uses controlled switches and elements in parallel with the main circuit. The main objective of the work is the application of this cell ZVT to a single-phase PWM inverter with sinusoidal output. In this sense initially is made a review of the basic topologies of inverters , and of the PWM techniques used to obtain sinusoidal output. Are presented the circuits ZVT conventional and improved described in the literature, in which the improved ZVT is employed on DC-AC full bridge converter. Steps of operation and mathematical analysis are presented. A design methodology is described for the determination of the components of the auxiliary circuit, based on constraints set for the correct functioning of the cell and of the characteristics of semiconductor. A prototype of the converter is implemented in the laboratory for the validation of the project, verification of waveforms the switches and analysis of efficiency. This converter is compared with other two circuits, ZVT conventional and the Undeland snubber. Experimental results show the achievement of soft switching the switches and the converter presenting an efficiency of at least 1% over for the ZVT conventional and 2% to the undeland snubber, these values for all load range.

The main goal of this thesis is to describe the unofficial genre of films without speech and to analyze principles of the use of sound and film language in such films. Initial chapters speak generally about the phenomenon of feature nonverbal cinema with the focus on its historical development and general film language. The middle part presents, and briefly describes chosen films without speech, and suggests their sorting into sub-genres. The last, vastest part of the work, is an analytic study of various approaches to reduce speech generally throughout film. This part leads into the final theoretical description of soundtrack in films without speech.

Este trabalho apresenta o estudo de um conversor CC-CC isolado com comutação suave, saída em corrente, para aplicações envolvendo altas potências, com nome T-Type Zero Voltage Switching Pulse Width Modulated dc-dc converter(TT-ZVS-PWM). O conversor a ser estudado possui quatro interruptores. Dois deles são submetidos à tensão de entrada, já os outros dois são submetidos à metade da tensão de entrada. Todos os interruptores comutam sob tensão nula. O conversor proposto possui as seguintes semelhanças com os conversores Full Bridge Zero Voltage Switching(FB-ZVS-PWM) e Three Level Zero Voltage Switching(TL-ZVS-PWM): (a) Operação simétrica (b) Modulação por largura de pulso com frequência constante (c) comutação sob tensão nula e (d) tensão de saída do conversor com três níveis, a ser aplicada nos terminais do primário do transformador. O trabalho é dividido em análise teórica, análise do modelo de pequenos sinais do conversor e roteiro para projeto do conversor. Um protótipo com 3 kW, 400 V de entrada, 60V de saída e frequência de comutação de 50 kHz comprova a análise desenvolvida. A eficiência obtida no protótipo foi de 93% para carga nominal e de 95,2% para 1,2 kW.

Abstract : This work presents the analysis of the T-Type Zero Voltage Switching Pulse Width Modulated isolated DC-DC converter (TT-ZVS-PWM Converter). The topology is composed of four switches. Two of them are subjected to the input voltage level and the other two to half the input voltage. All primary side switches commutate under zero-voltage. The proposed converter has the following in common with the Full Bridge Zero-Voltage Switching (FB-ZVS-PWM) and the Three-Level Zero-Voltage Switching (TL-ZVS-PWM) converters: (a) symmetrical operation of the isolation transformer, (b) modulation by pulse-width with constant frequency, (c) zero voltage switching, and (d) three-level voltage applied to the primary winding of the transformer. Theoreticalanalysis, small signal model, design example and experimental results for a 3 kW, 400 VDC input, 60 VDC output, and 50 kHz switching frequency laboratory prototype, are included. Measured efficiency was 93% at full load and a peak efficiency of 95.2% occured at 1.2 kW.

Abstract:
This paper extends input shaping control to one dimensional continua. Unlike discrete systems where the input is shaped only in the temporal domain, temporal and spatial input shaping can produce zero residual vibration in setpoint position control of distributed strings and beams. For collocated and noncollocated boundary control of strings and domain control of strings and pinned beams, the response to step inputs is solved in closed form using delays. For a clamped beam model, a closed form infinite modal series is used. The boundary controlled string can be setpoint regulated using two-pulse Zero Vibration (ZV) and three-pulse Zero Vibration and Derivative (ZVD) shapers but ZVD is not more robust to parameter variations than ZV. Noncolocated ZV and ZVD boundary control enables rigid body translation of a string with zero residual vibration. Domain controlled strings and pinned beams with spatial input distributions that satisfy certain orthogonality conditions (e.g. midspan point load or uniformly distributed load) can be setpoint regulated with shaped inputs. For the cantilevered beam, modal shaping of the input distribution and ZV or ZVD temporal shaping drives the tip to the desired position with zero residual vibration.

Batch experiments were conducted with solutions containing 20 mg /L U(VI) (0.084 mM) at room temperature with washed and untreated scrap iron. The results show significant decrease of the immobilization efficiency of ZVI for uranium in the presence of both atmospheric corrosion products and those generated in situ. Among the relevant groundwater components, those who promote the iron corrosion e.g. SO42−, Cl− produce more corrosion products and have a stronger negative effect on the immobilization process. Carbonate ions also have a negative effect on the immobilization efficiency since they form stable complexes with uranium and reduce the adsorption on the iron surface which is the first step to immobilization. Humic substances didn’t show any negative effect but rather a slight enhancement of the immobilization rate. These results show that washing ZVI materials with hydrochloric acid before testing will overestimate their efficiency in practical use.

Abstract:
The relative sensitivities of ADP-induced activation, and prostaglandin-mediated inhibition, were determined for rates of platelet shape change (SC), early platelet recruitment measured by electronic particle counting (PA), and turbidometrically-measured aggregation (TA). Studies were performed in stirred citrated platelet-rich plasma from 7 healthy human donors. The [ADP]½ ([ADP] giving half maximal rate) was determined for the sequence of activation steps expanding on Holmsen’s classical scheme: unactivated platelets → SC → PA → TA. Distinct ADP sensitivities were obtained from log dose-response studies, with a relative dose dependency in the order of [ADP] ½ TA → [ADP] ½ PA → [ADP]> SC of 4:3:1. Sex differences in ADP sensitivities ([ADP]½), for rates of early platelet recruitment measured at 3 seconds were studied from a pool of 20 females and 19 males. Values obtained between the two sexes were comparable (p > 0.05) and independent of hematocrit. Differential inhibition of the above activation scheme was evaluated with Iloprost (ZK 36 374), a stable carbacyclin analogue of prostacyclin (PGI2), with similar potency as PGI2 for the same platelet receptors. Log dose - response curves for inhibition were measured at one high [ADP] (> 1.5 μM) for all 3 parameters, or at respective [ADP]½ values for each parameter. IC5u values ([ZK J causing 50% of inhibition) for inhibition of TA:PA:SC were found in the relative ratios of ∽ 1:3:5, when normalized and expressed as nM ZK per pM ADP used as activator. Thus, ∽ 3x and ∽ 5x more ZK, and likely PGI2, is required to respectively inhibit PA and SC, than that needed to inhibit TA. As observed above for activation, no sex differences in ZK sensitivities were observed (p > 0.1) for 6 males and 6 females. The range of ZK used in this study was below the threshold (∽ 3 nM) generally reported for measurable increases in total basal cyclic 3’ ,5’ adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). This suggests that for each parameter, any increase in cAMP may be associated with selective intracellular pools. The relationship between ZK or PGI2 and intracellular signals remains to be determined.

Abstract:
We describe an energy-efficient, fuel cell (FC) powerconditioning system (PCS) for stationary application, which draws practically zero switching-ripple current from the FC and can potentially meet the $40/kW cost target. The PCS consists of a zero-ripple boost converter (ZRBC) followed by a soft-switched and multi-level high-frequency (HF) inverter and a single-phase cycloconverter. The zero-ripple input inductor significantly reduces the input current ripple which may be necessary to enhance the long-term durability of the fuel cell. A new phase-shifted sine-wave modulation of the multi-level high frequency inverter is proposed which results in the zero voltage turn-on (ZVS) of all four switches (without the use of any auxiliary circuit components). For such a sine-wave modulation technique a > 90 % ZVS range is obtained from 25% of the full load to full load. Further, the line-frequency switching of the cycloconverter (at close to unity power factor) results in extremely low switching losses. The intermediate high voltage DC (HVDC) bus facilitates the inclusion of power systems based on other forms of alternative-energy techniques. A cost effective 1 kW prototype of the proposed PCS is built, which achieved a high overall efficiency. We present a detailed description of the operation of the PCS along with its key features and advantages. Finally, experimental results showing the performance and operation of the PCS are demonstrated.
