Projections of modern technology as one of the implementations of the industrial revolution 4.0. in the world of education, it can be used as a supporter of the concept of learning, thinking, and developing creative and innovative innovations from students, to make the Pencerah become the Golden Indonesia Generation 2045 who is superior and able to compete at the global level. The current situation in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, Industrial Revolution Education 4.0 adapts the new curriculum. The curriculum must be able to open a window to the world through digital information, for example: utilizing a smartphone / android in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. Educators with a lot of exploring learning techniques and lots of references will be able to implement learning activities effectively even though they are currently in the midst of Covid-19, but all of this is not free from challenges in its implementation, especially educators. Making mobile learning media applications aims to produce learning media that makes it easier for students to learn multimedia and internet courses wherever they are. The development of this application uses the Prototyping development method with Android-based Java programming with Android Studio application software (version 3.3) with Gradle 4.4. This research produces an Android-based mobile learning media application, the features in this interactive module application are RPS, learning materials, videos, and exercises that are in accordance with the Electronic Engineering curriculum learning material, Faculty of Engineering, UNP.

Анотація:
In cryptography, the DES algorithm is known to be advantageous by utilizing the mechanisms of grouping and symmetric private key. The algorithm is critical in the field of encryption. It is adaptive to various applications for encryption in many different systems, especially in the embedded system of Internet of Things (IOT) and the Next-generation Convergence Networks. In this paper, an improved scheme is presented in order to overcome the easily attacked shortcomings. This method is to improve the complexity of encryption key in the process and thus to enhance the ability in resisting attacks, so that we use two keys to crosswise encrypt and the safety of the algorithm is further strengthened. In this paper, the improved algorithm is applied in smartphone-based monitoring of broadcasting transmission systems, so as to realize the transmission of data encryption functions.

<p class="0abstract">Building context-aware mobile applications is one of the most ambitious areas of research. Such applications can change their behavior according to context or perform specific tasks in specific contexts. Regardless of the application, all context-aware mobile applications share the need to retrieve and process context information. This paper presents a Context Management tool for the Android platform (ACM). ACM allows easy access to internal on-board mobile sensors and hardware features extracting corresponding raw data. Raw context is processed into higher-level more human-readable context that is provided seamlessly to the mobile applications. Different methods are used for this purpose including fuzzy classifiers. Since different mobiles have different sensors and hardware features, ACM can adapt to the mobile device by deactivating access to unavailable ones. Information regarding the available sensors and hardware features and their specifications can also be queried. Additionally, applications can request notifications regarding context change or specific context values. In addition to providing developers with supporting classes and methods, ACM is accompanied by an application that allows developers to examine its functionality and capabilities before using it. The application can be also used to examine the readings of the different sensors in different situations and thus calibrate them as needed. Additionally, it can be used to modify and personalize default interpretations of raw context values to high-level ones. ACM has been tested empirically and the results show extreme interest of context-aware mobile application developers in its promising capabilities and that it is conducive to facilitating, speeding up and triggering development of many more of such applications.</p>

<p class="Abstract">The objective of this study was to unveil the importance of emotions and feelings in developing mobile-based tourism applications. We gathered and analyzed emotional requirements to develop a mobile context-aware application for tourists. Emotional requirements are non-functional requirements affecting users’ emotional experiences around using applications, which are important for sustainable application usage. Many tourism applications exist, but were designed without considering emotional requirements or related UX factors and emotions. We developed a proof-of-concept prototype service-based context-aware tourism application (SCATA), and users participated in the design and evaluation processes. Emotional requirements are key to sustainable usage, especially regarding security. This paper details the application design and evaluation processes, emotional requirements analysis in each design phase, and the emotional effects of content accessibility in the application’s offline mode in unknown environments. The results show that trust, security, adjustability, and reliability are important factors to users, especially in unknown environments.</p>

Compiles and analyzes care of better quality care. new implementations come with new goals and technologies like using mobile application with cloud computing system and reducing the responding time to safe the patient life and give the patient best health care professional service transition to using of mobile application in emergency healthcare, this paper will present (MCCEH) mobile cloud computing in emergency health care model, mainly reducing the wasting time in emergency health care, The process starting once the accident occurred and the patient run the application, mobile application will detect the patient location and allow him to book nearest medical center or specialist in some emergency cases once the patient did the booking will send help request to medical center this process will include an online pre-register patient in the medical center to save time of patient registration, MCCEH model allows the patients to review the previous feedback and experiences of each specialist or medical center and allows doctors to be able to stay in contact with their patients more often and by communication through mobiles applications and share messages and photos of the accident or emergency case itself.

Cloud Computing technologies support mobile applications and overcome the low computation resources and limited data storage by providing an on-demand access with pay-as-use rule to large number of computing resources. In this paper, the author describes the architecture of an electronic tourist guide system (Trip@Cloud) as mobile cloud computing application wherein the tourists can access cloudy information in ubiquitous and pervasive manner. The information needs not to be over the user's mobile device, but it will be downloaded to user's device according to user's location and the Internet status connection. The interaction between the mobile device and the cloud is done when possible and transparently from the user. The existing architectures of partitioning the application between the device and the cloud depends deeply on the CPU workloads. The author’s application's nature is different from these applications and this represents the main contribution. The idea is to download the data to the user's device according to the current user location. Therefore the partitioning is done for the data to be sent to the mobile device. This idea is applied by developing a tourist guide application where the data to be installed is very huge and the mobile storage device is very limited.

Анотація:
An application's offloading algorithm to over go the limitations of mobile terminals, namely their lack of computing capacity and limited battery autonomy is introduced. The proposed Mobile Application's Offloading algorithm enables to shift applicative jobs from mobile handsets to remote servers. The novelty of MAO consists in considering the Quality of Experience as an additional decision test before proceeding to application offloading. Based on various traffic scenarios, researchers study the efficiency of the MAO algorithm and show its performance in terms of rejected jobs and energy savings. First, the researchers consider the case where the application servers were placed systematically at the antenna's site. For a more realistic context of Mobile Cloud Computing, they extend the analysis by considering the case where the remote servers can be placed at different splitting points of the infrastructure. They assess by means of closed-forms fitting functions the performance of the MAO algorithm. Authors end this article with proposing an optimized applications servers placement.

In the todays Communication world, mobile and its applications are the most emerging trends. Mobile applications are the exact replacements of web based applications. Based on this statistics we are planning to migrate web based application of college library to mobile application. In most of the college website we see applications like latest news, Attendance, Login and Registrations, EBooks, Forums, Results, Chat application, Web Mail, etc.. Based on the same we would to do the same thing in a mobile application. The reason behind the work is that the mobile applications do not need any third party browsers, or they don't need any domain registration. So in order to take the advantages of all this limitations we are planning to develop the mobile applications. Now the main important modules that I want to implement on my mobile application is OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) for a library account. Using OPAC mechanism in mobile one can just access the library account of his/her from anywhere using his mobile device, So that they can check the availability of books in the library instead of going to library. They can even check the number of books that are taken in there account and its submission date, fine to be paid in case.

The extensive usage of smart phones and digital applications has changed the lifestyle, this trend has also affected tourism, it has transformed the tourism industry ways to access visitors during travelling. Mobile applications are used for different purpose in tourism from booking, mapping, finding locations and payments. Mobile application usage is very common in Thailand. Though, the drivers behind increased use of such applications in hospitality enterprises and markets in Samut Parkan province is still unidentified and imprecise. On the basis of Theory of Acceptance this paper is targeted to identify the factors that drives tourist’s continuous intention to use mobile application. A purposive sampling was instigated in restaurants, food stalls, souvenirs shops in Bang Nam Pheung Market, compiling 415 useful survey responses to check that how different drivers such as personal innovation, awareness and destination infrastructure risk impact continuous intention to use mobile application. This study also examined the moderation effect of information knowledge on interconnection among Mobile applications drivers and tourist intention to uses the mobile applications. This study is offering several helpful points and recommendations for tourism organizations and government to effectively incorporate mobile application. Mobile application developers can also refer to this paper.

With the increasing number of mobile applications, there has more challenging network management tasks to resolve. Users also face security issues of the mobile Internet application when enjoying the mobile network resources. Identifying applications that correspond to network traffic can help network operators effectively perform network management. The existing mobile application recognition technology presents new challenges in extensibility and applications with encryption protocols. For the existing mobile application recognition technology, there are two problems, they can not recognize the application which using the encryption protocol and their scalability is poor. In this paper, a mobile application identification method based on Hidden Markov Model(HMM) is proposed to extract the defined statistical characteristics from different network flows generated when each application starting. According to the time information of different network flows to get the corresponding time series, and then for each application to be identified separately to establish the corresponding HMM model. Then, we use 10 common applications to test the method proposed in this paper. The test results show that the mobile application recognition method proposed in this paper has a high accuracy and good generalization ability.

Service-oriented Web applications allow users to exploit applications over networks and access them from a remote system at the client side, including mobile phones. Individual services are built separately with comprehensive functionalities. In this article, the authors transform a standalone offline novelty mining application into a service-oriented application and allow users to access it over the Internet. A novelty mining application mines the novel, yet relevant, information on a topic specified by users. In this article, the authors propose a design for a service-oriented novelty mining application. After deploying their service-oriented novelty mining system on a server, use case scenarios are provided to demonstrate the system. The authors’ service-oriented novelty mining system increases the efficiency of gathering novel information from incoming streams of texts on their mobile devices for users.

The successful diffusion of mobile applications in user groups can establish a good image for enterprises, gain a good reputation, fight for market share, and create commercial profits. Thus, it is of great significance for the successful diffusion of mobile applications to study mobile application diffusion and social network coevolution. Firstly, combined with a social network’s dynamic change characteristics in real life, a mobile application users’ social network evolution mechanism was designed. Then, a multi-agent model of the coevolution of a social network and mobile application innovation diffusion was constructed. Finally, the impact of mobile applications’ value perception revenue, use cost, marketing promotion investment, and the number of seed users on the coevolution of social network and mobile application diffusion were analyzed. The results show that factors such as the network structure, the perceived value income, the cost of use, the marketing promotion investment, and the number of seed users have an important impact on mobile application diffusion.

The Implementation of e-government has been established with the Instruction of President. Application of e-government is a research topic that has received a lot attention because of its improve the function and management of the city by utilizing Information and Communication Technology to improve the quality of public services. In this research focused on one application of e-government that called Mobile City. This study observe 22 application that has been implemented in 22 regencies/cities. This study have goals to identify and compare all 22 Mobile City Applocation to get the rank of the regency/city based on the quality of its application and research city with the best application . The results of the study to show the Mobile City application applies a Location Based Services (LBS) system so the main features of this application showed tourism locations or public facilities. The difference of application features between regencies/cities is depends on how the regency/city developed their application. The city that has the most complete features on its mobile city is Surakarta that called Solo Destination. This application is managed by the Office of Infromation Communication Statistics and Coding of Surakarta City with the most frequently used feature is community complaints.

Mobile operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, etc) are becoming powerful platforms on which various applications can be installed and run. Each mobile OS offers application store (e.g., Apple App Store, Android Play, etc) for developers to easily publish applications and earn profits. However, existing mobile platforms provide little means for mobile users to evaluate risks on allowing certain security permissions when installing mobile applications. Since mobile users may not be able to justify the risks on allowing certain permissions required by an application, mobile users may install malware with extra permissions, which leads to security risk for mobile users, e.g., private information leaked, etc. In this paper, we present process and visual User Interface for mobile users to understand and justify the risks on permissions required by mobile applications during installation. We also present two algorithms for calculating the risks.

In Belarus, there is a positive dynamics in the number of active users of applications-services, every year it is possible to attract 7 % of unique customers. In the present paper the experience of implementation and operation of the mobile application for power systems is analyzed. The dynamics of the market of mobile applications-services has been traced: the amount of time spent by the person in interaction with the device was determined as well as the total expenditure of funds in the application at the moment; also, the growth of expenses within the applications was forecasted. The potential benefits for business and end-users of services from the implementation of mobile applications-services were demonstrated. Their properties, main qualities and advantages over traditional methods of “business – client” interaction are considered. A number of features needed for the successful functioning of the mobile application in the power system of Belarus are identified. The process of creating software for smart devices has been studied and the functionality needed by the mobile application for the power system has been proposed for attracting new users. A special algorithm for the launch and successful “life cycle” of a mobile application has been proposed. It allows to operate and develop mobile applications-services as efficiently as possible, as well as to avoid the most common errors at the stages of their development and launch. The implementation of a mobile application in the power system of the Republic of Belarus, in the long-term, will significantly increase customer loyalty, simplify interaction with users, make it possible to build new models of distribution of electricity, and, consequently, regulate the demand for energy resources.

This article describes how these days the mobile application market keeps getting bigger because of the different mobile operating systems. So, it has become a challenge for application vendors to provide an application planned for multiple platforms whose operating systems use different technologies. This fragmentation makes the development of mobile applications quite difficult and very expensive. This can be observed at all levels, data storage, software architecture, user interface, access to phone data, communication between applications, etc. To resolve this problem, several solutions exist in the mobile market to develop mobile applications according to the principle “develops once, use everywhere”. In this article, the authors propose a solution based on the MDA approach called “TimPhoneGenerator”. Using TimPhoneGenerator, applications only need to be coded once for all targeted platforms, which reduces development time and costs.

Due to people in companies use mobile devices to access corporate data, attackers targeting corporate data use vulnerabilities in mobile devices. Most vulnerabilities in applications are caused by the carelessness of developers, and confused deputy attacks and data leak attacks using inter-application vulnerabilities are possible. These vulnerabilities are difficult to find through the single-application diagnostic tool that is currently being studied. This paper proposes a process to automate the decompilation of all the applications on a user’s mobile device and a mechanism to find inter-application vulnerabilities. The mechanism generates a list and matrix, detailing the vulnerabilities in the mobile device. The proposed mechanism is validated through an experiment on an actual mobile device with four installed applications, and the results show that the mechanism can accurately capture all application risks as well as inter-application risks. Through this mechanism, users can expect to find the risks in their mobile devices in advance and prevent damage.

The debate as to whether mobile applications trigger addiction within the public segment in Jordan will be closely investigated and analysed in this research study. A collaboration of data gathered from a random selection of the population of the Income and Sales Tax Department staff ([Formula: see text]) exposes the fact that both the females and males from the random sample are likely to be using mobile applications for numerous hours each day. With this considered, the study also reveals that mobile applications have a substantial influence on the accomplishment of e-Government application within the public segment in Jordan.

The study was conducted to determine user perceptions of online transportation mobile applications by looking at PlayStore transportation mobile application analysis and user perceptions when using online transportation mobile applications. This research method is a qualitative method. This type of research uses informants, where direct users who use online mobile transportation applications and PlayStore observations as supporters. Data collection techniques carried out in the form of 1) interviews, 2) participant observation, 3) study documentation. The analysis method uses the interactive model of Mile and Hubermen with 4 stages, including collecting data, trying to formulate data or reduce data, after that the data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that online mobile transportation applications have differences in improving service quality and in creating customer satisfaction. However, the observation of user perception shows that the Grab online transportation mobile application is considered to have superior quality and service than the Gojek and OK-Jack online transportation mobile application.

The popularity of digital devices especially smart phones has been dramatically increased with the innovation in technology from the past few years. The popularity of smart phones is based on the number of mobile applications that are designed for various purposes. The usage behavior of these mobile applications has many determinants that can shape the usage behavior regarding the mobile applications. In this context, the current study has been conducted in order to find out and explore the impact casted by need for uniqueness, self identity and perceived performance risk on the usage behavior of mobile application along with the mediating role of attitude towards design of mobile application. For this purpose, data from 447 mobile application designers has been collected through online survey questionnaire. The collected data has been analyzed through SPSS and AMOS statistically. The results of the study suggest that all the independent variables i.e. need for uniqueness; self identity and perceived performance risk have significant and positive impact on the usage behavior of mobile applications. In addition, the mediating role of attitude towards mobile application design has also been found as significant in all three cases.

To find the best train ticket booking mobile application on the bases of application features. Four widely used mobile phone applications (Ixigo, MakeMyTrip, ClearTrip, and IRCTC) for railway ticket booking are selected and application features related to ease of download and use, rating, number of installs, etc. are compared. A practical attempt is made to book a train ticket using all these applications one by one and comparing features such as coach locator, platform locator, route map, fare break-up, showing seat availability, save and pre-fill passenger details, sort search list by train name/number, sort search list by journey duration, sort search list by class, train running status, etc. 1 point is allotted to the applications if a particular feature is available in the applications and 0 is allotted if the feature is not available. Sum of all the points is calculated separately for each application and then ranks are given from 1 to 4 considering the final score. Ixigo mobile application scores the highest among other three train ticketing mobile applications – MakeMyTrip, ClearTrip, and IRCTC. Features such as downloading applications via a miss call or SMS; downloading application from websites of Ixigo, MakeMyTrip, ClearTrip, and IRCTC; and sorting train search list by class on applications are not found in any of these four applications. Furthermore, features are grouped into groups such as – the features only available in top ranking Ixigo and the features not available in top ranking Ixigo but available in any or all other three applications. This research will be of a good value for mobile railway ticket booking application providers as competition is becoming acute and the booking pattern is shifting from using desktop or laptop to mobile phones and tablets.

While previous research on application adoption has partly advanced our understanding of factors affecting the adoption of mobile applications, less attention has been given to the whole process of application development, from idea characteristics to the supportive activities after launch. In particular, less is known about these factors in the context of developing countries, where mobile applications are gaining increasing popularity. In this vein, this paper, adopting a grounded theory approach, aims to identify factors influencing the adoption of entertainment mobile application from the developer's points of view focusing on different phases of application development in the novel context of Iran. The authors' in-depth semi-structured interviews with experts in mobile application development firms indicate 15 factors classified within four categories based on the application development process, entailing idea characteristics, design, marketing communications and supportive activities. The implications of these findings provides valuable insight into why some mobile applications are more successful than others.

Living in the digital era and in a society that recognises the importance of technology, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plays a major role in almost every point of life and particularly in education. Teachers play a major role in the teaching and learning of foreign languages. Mobile applications open new opportunities for learning how to read and speak different languages. One such mobile application that is used in education to facilitate learning of new language is the mobile translator. Although, there are numerous language translator applications that are freely available online, most of them have different shortcomings. This study focused on filling the gap of different shortcomings presented by different translator applications and specifically cater the mobile application for the FNCC curriculum. The main objective of this study was to design and develop a mobile translator application to facilitate the effective teaching of beginner level French for children at FNCC. Interviews were carried out as a data collection method to identify the requirements for the mobile translator application. The French teachers at the FNCC (Franco Namibia Cultural Centre) served as a sample group. Purposive sampling method was used to identify the participants and two teachers were selected. The application was developed following the incremental process model, an android mobile application was designed and developed, the application was evaluated using the PACMAD usability model, the incremental testing were adopted. The findings of the research show that there are different teaching strategies used in teaching and learning of French. Features were incorporated on the mobile application that are believed to enhance teaching and learning of French at beginner level. The PACMAD usability model determined what other French applications (which were purposively selected) lack and a comparison was carried out between the selected applications. The results of the comparison determined what should be included in the French mobile application for beginner level for children at the FNCC.

The term “mobile learning” (or “m-learning”) refers to using handheld phones to learn and wireless computing as a learning tool and connectivity technology. This paper presents and explores the latest mobile platform for teaching and studying programming basics. The M-Learning tool was created using a platform-independent approach to target the largest available number of learners while reducing development and maintenance time and effort. Since the code is completely shared across mobile devices (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone), students can use any smartphone to access the app. To make the programme responsive, scalable, and dynamic, and to provide students with personalised guidance, the core application is based on an analysis design development implementation and assessment (ADDIE) model implemented in the Xamarin framework. The application’s key features are depicted in a prototype. An experiment is carried out on BS students at a university to evaluate the efficacy of the generated application. A usefulness questionnaire is administered to an experimental community in order to determine students’ expectations of the developed mobile application’s usability. The findings of the experiment show that the application is considerably more successful than conventional learning in developing students’ online knowledge assessment abilities, with an impact size of 1.96. The findings add to the existing mobile learning literature by defining usability assessment features and offering a basis for designing platform-independent m-learning applications. The current findings are explored in terms of their implications for study and teaching practice.

A thorough literature review has been conducted to understand the innovations around mobile applications globally and to identify the top 5 categories of mobile applications. These categories serve as variables for understanding the scope for Indian mobile application developers. Data on Indian Mobile application market has been sourced from mass media: Top 3 English newspapers (Indian) and 6 online sources. Recommendations for Indian developers have been generated on the basis on data which was reported under 5 identified categories of mobile applications. Scope for Indian Mobile application developers is in (but not limited to) the following areas; Developing cloud enabled applications, developing customised Indian applications, working on innovations based on global acceptability through multi-language apps., synchronising data with backend systems and addressing security threats, reducing costs through prudent locations and newer API’s (Application Programming Interface), beta testing applications and appropriate keyword tagging for marketing and making applications oriented towards customer delight so that in the process of diffusion of the innovation, the application becomes an integral part of the customer’s life. Methodical content analysis brings out the scope for Indian application developers and offers them valuable insights on monetization tactics. Since the findings are based on published data from Indian Mass Media, it makes the paper very contemporary and the recommendations very implementable for the industry. Academicians working in this area too, will also find an avenue for further exploration. This research work is distinctive because of the lack of scholarly studies in this area, especially in the Indian context. There are several systems development methodologies including traditional and agile methodologies being utilized in current systems development. However, it could be argued that when developing mobile commerce applications, suitable development framework should be investigated as these applications are utilized in different contexts from fixed ecommerce applications. This study identifies suitable system development methodology framework for mobile commerce applications. In order to achieve this aim, the practitioners from seven organizations were asked to provide information about their development methodologies by answering the questions regarding mobile commerce application development. The questions were opened and aimed to explore practitioner’s perspectives on the development methodologies. From the practitioner’s perspectives, it was found that there were several development methodologies being used in mobile commerce application development and these can be classified into two different development frameworks which are heavyweight/traditional and lightweight/agile methodologies. The suitable methodology framework for mobile commerce application development thus was identified.

Purpose Research abounds highlighting the differences between males and females when they travel. Even in business travel, these differences have been acknowledged, with suppliers and marketers spending significant money to develop and market products to accommodate them. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether differences exist in terms of mobile application usage between male and female business travellers. Design/methodology/approach A mixed method approach is followed. An internet-based survey is distributed and in-depth interviews conducted with South African business travellers. The Mann–Whitney U-test is used to test the differences between males and females and their mobile application usage. Content analysis is used to analyse the interviews. Findings The results show that mobile applications are perceived as more important by females than males in all the phases of the travel cycle, although most of these differences in perceived importance were not significant. Research limitations/implications Owing to the online data-collection method and the self-selective process, the findings cannot be generalised to the global population of business travellers who use mobile applications. Practical implications The results should caution corporate organisations, travel management companies and their application developers not to spend unnecessary technological and financial resources on developing applications to accommodate differences between males and females, which might not exist. Companies should rather spend money on developing applications that will enhance and add convenience to the business traveller’s experience. Originality/value The main contribution of this study lies in investigating the applications market, particularly in the context of business travel. Applications focussed on specific sectors of the tourism industry, such as business travel applications, serve business travellers differently from generic travel applications. This research examines business travel-specific applications and expands the scale and scope of the enquiry, concentrating on the travellers’ view.

The present study addresses the issue of mobile banking customer retention by developing and empirically testing a theoretical model that describes the way mobile banking success is achieved. The data collection process was conducted via a web-based questionnaire survey through which 402 usable responses from users of application-based mobile banking services were collected. The data collected were further analyzed via covariance-based structural equation modeling. Results indicate that application-based mobile banking success can be defined in terms of the favorable attitude toward and repeated use of mobile banking applications. Experienced advantage, user satisfaction, and post-use trust toward mobile banking applications are among the critical enablers of application-based mobile banking success. The findings of this research can enable academicians and practitioners, banks, and financial institutions, in particular, to devise the mechanism through which the success of application-based mobile banking services can be facilitated.

This exploratory paper focuses on the use of mobile applications in shopping from the customer activation point of view. Empirical survey data was collected from 23 mobile shopping application users, and the major findings indicate that mobile applications present a modern and flexible channel for supporting and intensifying customer participation. However, in order to guarantee a long-term customer relationship, the application must be integrated with the service development and refinement activities of a service company. It is also essential that applications have a high technological quality and create a long-term relationship between the customer and the company based on a cumulative learning process. In addition, the motivation to upload the application is strongly based on the perceived benefits of using the application. Therefore, it seems beneficial to develop mobile applications in conjunction with customers. In all, more research is needed, ideally involving close co-operation between practitioners and academic researchers.

Анотація:
This paper presents the development of mobile application for Malay Translated Hadith search engine. Limitations of current Hadith web application are the design is to optimize its usage on desktop computer but not on mobile devices, which requires simple and user friendly interface. Besides that, web application also needs internet connection to use. Due to increase usage of mobile application among mobile phone users, many existing web applications have moved to mobile based applications to cater for increasing numbers of mobile users. In this study, a mobile application for Android and iOS mobile application has been developed using Flutter framework, a hybrid mobile application framework. A Malay Translated hadith search engine mobile application can easily assist those who are seeking knowledge to learn more about certain topics in hadith, a second source of Islamic knowledge. This mobile application has search and directory features for users to browse the 2028 Sahih Bukhari hadith collection. Users can enter their query using search features to find selected hadith in Malay language. Queries will be processed for searching relevant hadith and display the results to the user. Evaluation using Recall and Precision shows that on the average Recall is 73% and Precision is 33%. Functionality testing is also conducted to test against the functional requirements or specifications. Results shows all requirements are successfully tested.
