BackgroundThromboinflammation is a pathological process that is associated with uncontrolled inflammation, leading to hypercoagulability and thrombotic complications. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) are prototypical chronic thromboinflammatory diseases. Neutrophils are important cells in the development of systemic inflammation and thrombosis. Neutrophil reactivity (NEUT-RI), neutrophil granularity (NEUT-GI), immature granulocytes (IG), and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are considered as inflammatory markers.ObjectivesTo determine the role of param

Breast cancer is most common cancer in Indian females and is believed to be biologically different from west, notably in terms of high prevalence of Triple negative subtype (TNBC). Reliable data on clinical and epidemiological profile of TNBC in Indian population is scarce. Abstract Excess risk for mortality in hospitalized adults with COVID-19 has been linked to extant chronic conditions, especially obesity (Obes), diabetes (DM) or combination (ObesDM). We investigated dose-response interactions between Elixhauser Comorbidity Index (ECI) and comorbidity ensembles including Obes, DM, ObesDM or Control. Presentation demographics, putative COVID-19 severity markers, and administrative data including ICD-10 codes to measure ECI (AHRQ, v2022.1, 0-38 categories) were extracted under IRB exemption from electronic medical records. Drained and cutover peatlands represent a persistent source of atmospheric CO2. Contemporary, intermediate, and long-term rates of peat oxidation were measured in an abandoned cutover peatland to estimate the mass of lost in order to determine if the oxidation rate has changed with time since abandonment. Contemporary rates were measured six times per week at 25 locations within the peatland using a portable infrared gas analyser and an enclosure system. Mean daily peat oxidation was 7.7 g CO2 m-2 d-1 or 4.8 mm yr-1. Intermediate (2-13 yr) oxidation rates were estimated using dendrochronologic

278 Background: Regular distress screening of patients with cancer is mandated by cancer care guidelines, with 25-50% of patients with cancer experiencing some level of distress. The COVID-19 pandemic amplified symptoms of distress and shifted oncologic care delivery towards telemedicine. In light of challenges faced with implementation of such screening, especially during this pandemic, we sought to assess the feasibility of implementing patient-focused distress screening at a large academic cancer center and its associated network sites.
