Abstract:
Room-temperature single-crystal X-ray studies are recorded for some dimethyl sulfoxide (dmso) solvates of bismuth(III) bromide and iodide. Colourless BiBr3.3dmso is triclinic, P-1, a 8·467(4), b 9·109(4), c 13·901(4) Å, α 76·34(4), β 76·95(4), γ 64·56(4)°, Z = 2; conventional R on |F| was 0·050 for No 2306 independent ‘observed’ (I > 3σ(I)) reflections. The complex is mononuclear with a quasi-octahedral fac-bismuth environment, [(dmso-O)3BiBr3], isomorphous with the previously determined chloride. Orange BiI3-2dmso is triclinic, P-1, a 12·558(2), b 8·962(2), c 8·342(1) Å, α 61·85(1), β 78·2

In these studies AI’s were associated with increased bone demineralization and a rise in non- fasting serum cholesterol. Abstract. Yearling red deer (Cervus elaphus) hinds of identical initial body weight were reared on a monocotyledonous grass (group 1) or on a papillonaceous plant pasture (group 2) for 212 days. At the end of the experiment (when deer were shot) blood was taken from ten animals of each group for serum biochemical analysis. Hinds of group 2 provided higher final body weight (90±3.5 vs. 101±6.6 kg) and higher daily body weight gain (105.7±10.7 vs. 153.8±26.8 g/day). The objective of this experiment is to investigate the effects of SAP or SAO as ω-3 PUFA raw materials on production performance, egg quality, serum immunity, serum lipids, and fatty acid deposition patterns in the eggs of laying quails. Chinese yellow-feathered quails served as the experimental subjects. A single-factor design was employed to randomly assign 1288 quails into four treatment groups, with seven replicates per treatment and 46 birds in each replicate. The groups included a control group (basal diet with no SAP), 1.6% SAP, 3.2% SAP, and 0.8% SAP + 0.3% SAO. The results indicate th

Abstract Introduction Daridorexant, a new dual orexin receptor antagonist, improved sleep parameters and daytime functioning in two pivotal Phase 3 trials in patients with insomnia (Trial-1, NCT03545191; Trial-2, NCT03575104); polysomnography data were collected at multiple timepoints from >1,800 patients. We report the effects of daridorexant on TST and sleep stages from both trials. Methods Eligible patients with insomnia (according to DSM-5) were randomized (1:1:1) in Trial-1 (N=930) to daridorexant 25mg, 50mg, or placebo and in Trial-2 (N=924) to daridorexant 10mg, 25mg, or placebo.
