Abstract:
The structure of the novel mixed-phosphine complex mer(PMe3)-trans(PEt3)(PPri3)H-trans-Cl2IrIII has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis at 146±3 K. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P 21/c, with a 7·414(4), b 15·073(3), c 9·796(2) Å, β 97·46(1) and Z 4. Structure refinement by constrained (2xC-C distances) full-matrix least-squares analysis (2378 unique reflections, 217 parameters) converged with R 0·049 and ωR 0·055. The PPri3 ligand is face-to-face configured with the unique Pri group eclipsing the hydride ligand. The PEt3 ligand is asymmetrically configured with

Internationally, there is also evidence that the diversion of health care resources may led to worse outcomes for patients presenting with major trauma. There has been no previous national evaluation of ‘lockdown’ measures impact on the characteristics, treatment pathways and outcomes of trauma patients in EnglandWe aimed to assess the impact of successive lockdowns on the volume, demographics

Abstract In order to reduce toxicity in elderly patients with newly diagnosed APL, since 3/1997 the Italian cooperative group GIMEMA evaluated an amended AIDA protocol for patients aged > 60 years, consisting of the same induction with ATRA and Idarubicin but only 1st consolidation course (Idarubicin + Cytarabine), followed by 2 years maintenance with ATRA alone. Up to now, 56 patients (25 males and 31 females, median age 66.2 years, 46 with PS 0-1 and 10 with PS 2) are fully evaluable. At onset, according to GIMEMA-PETHEMA risk score, 18 were low-risk(32.5%), 31 intermediate risk (55%)

Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are diagnosed based on peripheral cytopenias, morphological dysplasia and recurrent genomic abnormalities. Gene variants are found in approximately 90% of cases and cytogenetic abnormalities in 50% (Arber et al, 2022). Genomic abnormalities are key to diagnosis and prognosis (Bernard et al, 2022). The European Leukemia Net international MDS flow cytometry working group has recommended an integrated flow cytometry score (iFS) to support diagnosis of MDS (Oelshlaegel et al 2021; van de Loosdrecht et al, 2021). Background: Determining the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 in healthcare workers (HCW) is important in assessing the safety of the work environment. Though of limited use in acute illness, serologic testing can detect some infections that occur undetected. We compared the prevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 to a place of work, exposure by role and department, and use of various prevention methods. Methods: Healthcare workers (HCWs) working in Geisinger Health System were offered voluntary serology through Employee Health. Before they had blood taken, they completed a brief questionnaire.
