Abstract We have investigated crossed Andreev reflection in a ferromagnet-superconductor-ferromagnet junction based on the time-reversal invariant Weyl semimetals. We demonstrate that this junction can provide a suitable platform for generating pure crossed Andreev reflection signals. For bipolar junction, n-doped left ferromagnet and p-doped right ferromagnet, pure co-tunneling can happen in the antiparallel configuration of the magnetizations of ferromagnets, while a pure crossed Andreev reflection is possible only in the parallel configuration. However, when both of the ferromagnetic leads

A study is made of the dissipative component of the electron transport in a doubly connected Andreev SNS interferometer with elastic mean free paths lel in the metals of around 100μ m and a macroscopic phase–breaking length [Formula: see text] which is two or more orders of magnitude larger than [Formula: see text] in disordered nanostructures. At helium temperatures, the samples are found to exhibit new phase–sensitive effects of a quantum–interference nature. Below 2 K , the conductance of the macroscopic N region of the system has an oscillatory component of resonance shape which undergoes

The article deals with the little-studied but actual problem of loneliness of an outstanding creative personality as a consequence of stereotypical understanding of his works and activity. The cultural and philosophical meaning of Ivan Turgenev’s motif of loneliness is that he was a lone creator, recognized by Russian critics and historians of literature (V. Belinsky, D. Merezhkovsky, V. Rozanov) only in the context of the activities of other recognized great writers: Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov. The problem of loneliness is revealed through the paradoxical statement by Turgen

Researchers of L. N. Andreev’s work agree that the artistic methods of the first expressionist in Russian prose were significantly influenced by the work of V. M. Garshin. Taking this continuity into account, the article compares the texts of Garshin’s story Coward and Andreev’s novella The Yoke of War. The aim of the study is to identify similar features in the idiolects of the “forerunner of expressionism” and the “singer of horrors and nightmares”, while considering the functioning of means expressing the category of intensity. Using the quantum transport of chiral Dirac fermions in graphene, we investigate the normal-state conductance and thermoelectric effect of a nano device under the ballistic superconductor-graphene-superconductor (SGS) model. Because of the Josephson effect and Andreev reflections, there exists an oscillatory behavior of the normal-state conductance flowing through the successive discrete energy levels on a finite-sized graphene contacted to the superconducting leads. The normal-state conductance displays a rich structure of subharmonic gaps controlled by means of a gate voltage on the discrete

It also briefly describes the history of their development and provides examples of the use of these instruments in works of classical genres — in operas, sonatas, symphonies and concerts. The paper shows that the new ideal of the relationship between men and woman, discussed in Russia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, was inspired by H. Ibsen although Russian critics refused to see the “great Norwegian” as a supporter of the practical side of the women’s movement. The Silver Age identified Ibsen’s heroines as examples of two opposing ideals of femininity: “eternally feminine” meekness on the one hand, and feminine independence and courage to violate social norms on the other. Russian authors often credited their own ideas to Ibsen, justifying their aesthetic-philosoph
