We reported the observation of Y(2175) in ɸf0(980) mass spectrum in J/ψ → ηɸf0(980) with f0(980) → π+π-, the partial wave analysis results of J/ψ → γɸɸ, the measurement of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and the observation of [Formula: see text] threshold enhancement in [Formula: see text], based on 5.8 × 107 J/ψ events collected at BESII. We reported the measurement of ψ(2S) radiative decays with 1.4 × 107 ψ(2S) events and the measurement of D decay branching fractions with 33 pb-1 data collected at and around 3.773 GeV as well. This thesis studies the rare decay η' → π+π-e+e- using Monte Carlo simulations and data from the BES-III detector in Beijing, China. The branching ratio of the reaction was measured at BES-III in 2013 using a data set of 225×106 J/Ψ events. This work lays the groundwork for an updated branching ratio measurement using the full data set of 1.3×109 J/Ψ and determines a potential CP-violating asymmetry in the angle between the decay planes of the π+π-- and e+e--pairs. A total of 2558 signal events are observed after cuts, and the asymmetry parameter is determined to be  Aφ = (1.96 ± 1.97stat.± 0.

BEPC (Beijing Electron Positron Collider) is a large accelerator located in Beijing. BEPC aims mainly to study physics in the tau-charm centre-of-mass energy region (2– 4.6 GeV). In this paper, I analyze the concept of a besire. I argue that distinguishing between different types and interpretations of besires is a critical tool for adequately assessing besire theories of moral judgment. I argue for this by applying the results of this conceptual analysis of a besire to David Brink’s version of the moral problem and to objections against besire theories made by Michael Smith, Simon Blackburn, and Nick Zangwill.

The idea of redrawing borders in the Western Balkans is a frequently discussed topic. Beside a lack of support and feasibility making the implementation of such plans impracticable, the idea also has negative implications. While border changes would significantly hinder the economic growth, inter-ethnic relations, and EU integration of the region, the real issues that the Western Balkans face would not be solved, either. ALKOR cruise AL600 served as a marine geophysical field course for ‘Physics of the Earth System’ bachelor students at Kiel University. Beside carbon black, silica powder is the other important filler used to reinforce various colored rubber products. In order to improve the compatibility between silica particles and rubber phase, this work has focused on preparing an NR composite, reinforced by silica generated inside the NR matrix or ‘in situ’. The silica particle was formed by a sol-gel process of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) dispersed in NR latex.
