Abstract:
LPG gas is one of the substances with a high potential for environmental harm that is now widely employed in industry and other applications. In this study, the ALOHA model was utilized with varied wind speeds to assess the impact of releasing LPG into the environment, which causes a negative effect on human health. The purpose of this study is to show the toxic and flammable area of the affected area from the released LPG vapor cloud. The red zone (AEGL-3) of the toxic and flammable vapor cloud from the released gas remains constant with increasing ambient wind velocity for each LPG property

This work considers the possibility of separating the natural gas from the Orenburg field using gas hydrate crystallization technology to purify methane from impurities. The effect of the mixture composition, process temperature, and pressure on the separation efficiencyof the gas mixture CH4 - C2H6 - C3H8 - i-C4H10 - н-C4H10 - C5H12 - N2 - H2S - CO2 was mathematically modeled. Efficiency was determined based on gas hydrate distribution coefficients. It was shown that the CH4 gas hydrate distribution coefficient variedinsignificantly with the field operation time and amounted to less than 1. T

The laminar burning velocity is a significative parameter that characterises the combustion process of any fuel–air mixture. Using the zebrafish embryo as a model system, these limiting factors and possible approaches to overcoming them were investigated with a view to developing an effective procedure for fish embryo cryopreservation. Abstract:
Abstract The current paper presents an extension of the fuel flexibility of the Siemens SGT-300 Dry Low Emissions combustion system to include High Calorific Value fuels, achieved using the engine’s current standard combustion hardware. Results from high pressure rig tests show that the standard SGT-300 DLE combustor can reliably operate on High Calorific Value fuels with temperature corrected Wobbe Index up to 63MJ/m3, which corresponds to Grade A LPG (60%vol. C3H8, 40%vol. C4H10). Metal temperatures of the combustion hardware when operating on High Calorific Value fuels are within life accep
