Abstract:
In this study, the effect of double splitting, cooling in pre-storage, collection date, indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) dipping of shoot tip and base, gibberellic acid (GA3), Agrobacterium radiobacter and A. rhizogenes on the callusing and rooting of Gisela 5 cherry rootstock hardwood cuttings was investigated. Double splitting and bacteria did not affect the callusing and rooting of cuttings. The callusing and rooting of cuttings kept at 0–3°C for 15 days or more were significantly reduced. The callusing and rooting percentages were highest when only the base of cuttings was treated with 1000 mg/

Trichoderma harzianum T39 (Trichodex®) and T. longibrachiatum strain 6 were applied on grapevine to determine their effectiveness against Phaeomoniella chlamydospora on vine cuttings and pruning wounds. Cuttings were dipped in a Trichoderma suspension either before or after callusing. Pre-callusing dips were carried out for 3 years and yielded contradictory results. By contrast, post-callusing Trichoderma dips led to significant growth of hairy roots and a reduction in the longitudinal discolorations caused by P. chlamydospora inoculated into the rootstock after dipping. Trichoderma spp. were

This study was carried out for standardization of a reliable protocol by using different explants (epicotyl, cotyledon, and root), plant bioregulators (PBRs), and carbon sources on indirect embryogenesis during 2019-2022. Among the treatments tested, T4 (MS + 2,4-D (1.5 mg L-1) + BAP (1.0 mg L-1) + ME (500 mg L-1)) proved bestfor callusing (90.89 %), callus fresh weight (0.83 g), turgid weight (0.84 g) and dry weight (0.08 g) as comparedto others. A study was conducted in 2008-09 to investigate the influence of Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) at 0, 1000, 1500 and 2000ppm concentrations on rooting potential in hardwood cuttings of four varieties of bougainvillea, i.e., Louise Wathen, Thimma, Mrs. Butt and Shubhra. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with sixteen treatments and four replications. Results indicated that both IBA concentration and variety had significant effect on sprouting, rooting, callusing and establishment of cuttings. Louise Wathen cuttings treated with 1000ppm IBA were superior in response with 85.39% sp

Tissue culture is the best option to produce disease free seedling of the fruit crop rapidly. Micro-propagation and use of the in-vitro grafting (micro-grafting) is very helpful for production of virus free planting materials in mandarin. Different levels of the in-vitro hormone affect the success of callusing, shooting and plant regeneration in mandarin. Shoot bud, flower bud and in-vitro seedling epicotyl was used as explants to study the hormonal effect on mandarin micro-propagation. Similarly, 10 levels of BAP and IAA combination on MS media for mandarin tissue culture were used. Observati

Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture 44, no. 8 (2004): 801. http://dx.doi.org/10.1071/ea03059.

Abstract:
In this study, the influence of water content, temperature, oxygen concentration and pH of perlite substrate and H2O2 treatments on the rooting percentage of GF677 hardwood cuttings was examined. The best moisture level was 100 mL in 500 mL perlite; this resulted in 100% rooting. The observations showed that even pure O2 did not reduce callusing or, possibly, rooting and it gave similar results as 21% O2. There was no indication of a promotory effect. No rooting or callusing was observed in N, 5% CO2 or 5% O2 treatments. There were significant differences in the responses to temperature and pH

In the beginning of this thesis, I started form the tactile sense, trying to search the very beginning of feeling and the origin of creating sculpture. Meanwhile I also want to clarify the interactive relationship between the material and the feeling of hands.
