We set up a trade model with heterogeneous firms and a worker population that is heterogeneous in two dimensions: workers are either skilled or unskilled, and within each skill category there is a continuum of abilities. We develop a model to explain two-way migration of high-skilled individuals between countries that are similar in their economic characteristics. High-skilled migration results from the combination of workers whose abilities are private knowledge, and a production technology that gives incentives to firms for hiring workers of similar ability. Pharmaceutical compounds represent a rapidly emerging class of environmental contaminants. Such compounds were recently classified by the U.S. Geological Survey, including several antibiotics. An LC-MS/MS screening method for the top five antibiotics in drinking water was developed and validated using a Shimadzu LC-MS-IT-TOF. An 11 Blockheizkraftwerken (BHKW) ohne Oxidationskatalysator und an 10 BHKW mit Oxidationskatalysator in Sachsen und Thüringen wurden die Einflussfaktoren auf die Formaldehydemissionen untersucht. Geprüft wurden insbesondere die Motorbetriebsparameter wie z.B. Zylindertemperaturen, Verbrennungsluftverhältnis, die Biogaszusammensetzung und die Biogasfeuchte. It goes back to the seventies of the last century when one of the first educated teachers of Latvian origin Jänis Cimze (1814-1881) published his collection Dziesmu Rota [Adornment of song] for choir. Four of the eight volumes of this collection were Lauku pulJes [Field flowers]. Those were the first Latvian folk song arrangements.
