Code generation is a promising new area for the automatic production of mechanics and systems in games. Generated code alone is not sufficient for inclusion in a rich, fully-designed game, however - it lacks context to bind the functionality of code to the metaphorical setting of the game. In this paper we explore potential solutions to this problem, both in terms of creative systems which co-operate with human content, and the possibility for contextual meaning in autonomous, human-free creative systems as well.

Access control management in a System of Systems---i.e., a collaborative environment composed of a multitude of distributed autonomous organizations---is a challenging task. To answer the challenge, in this paper we propose a novel approach that incorporates semantic technologies in the Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) approach. Building on the basic principles of ABAC, our approach allows for a highly expressive modeling of the context in which access decisions are made, by providing mechanisms to describe rich relationships among entities, which can evolve over time. Moreover, the advent of Web 2.0 and the growing popularity of social and e-commerce media sites have encouraged users to naturally write texts describing their assessment of items. Abstract Zinc-Rich Primer (ZRP) based coating systems are widely used to protect steel infrastructure from aggressive exposure environments. These coating systems provide corrosion protection of the steel substrate by both barrier and sacrificial mechanism. Electrical continuity between the zinc pigments and steel substrate is the fundamental parameter in order to achieve galvanic protection and the use of high pigment volume concentration may not necessarily ensure effective electrical continuity. Moreover, high zinc content also degrades the bond of the coating matrix to the steel substrate.

Abstract Corrosion is a durability concern for any unprotected structural steel from its exposure environment and coatings are widely used for corrosion protection. Zinc-rich-primer-based three-coat (ZRP) systems are the most widely used for structural steel, since 1980's. However these coating systems often require regular maintenance. So there is always interest to develop durable novel coating systems to reduce the maintenance cost. The durability and long-term performance of coating systems strongly depend on its bond to the steel substrate and proper surface preparation. Nanoparticles are

Abstract Zinc-rich coatings have long been known to provide excellent corrosion resistance in highly corrosive environments, in general, inorganic zincs for new construction and organic zincs for maintenance. A recent trend has been toward zinc-rich coatings with reduced levels of zinc dust. An SSPC committee formed to revise SSPC Paint 29, Zinc Dust Sacrificial Primer, Performance Based, to reference performance only, removing reference to minimum zinc dust level. Based on the long field history and longevity of zinc-rich coatings with high zinc content, it is important to compare relative te

Abstract:
The Geo-mapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM) and Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI) programs conducted extensive collaborative research on mineral systems with iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) and affiliated deposits in prospective settings of Canada. Regional alteration mapping as well as geochemical and geophysical modelling undertaken under the GEM program documented the evolution of polymetallic metasomatic systems with iron-oxide and alkali-calcic alteration and led to an increased recognition of the mineral potential of poorly explored areas and historic deposits of the Great Bear magmat

Global nutrition needs are increasing and aquatic foods have recently been identified as crucial in addressing many of the world’s urgent challenges, including hunger and malnutrition. This synthesis highlights the importance of aquatic foods as a source of protein, micronutrients and income, its potential to meet increasing food demands, as well as the challenges in aquatic food production and harvesting. Most importantly, it provides an overview of management initiatives and innovative solutions for secured sustainable access to aquatic foods in the future. Aquatic foods provide micronutrien

The present paper explores the relationship between political competition and effective public goods delivery systems in a decentralized context to study whether the awareness generated through such a competitive environment and the existence of more political options are a part of the causal mechanisms for effective governance. In particular, we want to observe the effect of electoral competition on the incentives to build fiscal capacity and provide public goods such as education and water, that are to a large extent the responsibility of the local municipalities. Earthquakes, being both unpredictable and potentially destructive, pose great risks to critical infrastructure systems like transportation. It becomes crucial, therefore, to have both a fine-grained and holistic understanding of how the current state of a transportation system would fare during hypothetical hazard scenarios. This paper introduces a synthesis approach to assessing the impacts of earthquakes by coupling an image-based structure-and-site-specific bridge fragility generation methodology with regional-scale traffic simulations and economic loss prediction models. The main recommendations of the panel report can be summarised under five key headings:  Building blocks: The ultimate aim should be to build rich, detailed and testable narratives situated within a European context, and addressing phenomena from the longue durée to the short-term over international to local scales. Chronological control is essential to this and effective dating strategies are required to enable generation-level analysis. The ‘serendipity factor’ of archaeological work must be enhanced by recognising and getting the most out of information-rich sites as they appear. o There i

The main recommendations of the panel report can be summarised under five key headings. Underpinning all five areas is the recognition that human narratives remain crucial for ensuring the widest access to our shared past. There is no wish to see political and economic narratives abandoned but the need is recognised for there to be an expansion to more social narratives to fully explore the potential of the diverse evidence base. The questions that can be asked are here framed in a national context but they need to be supported and improved a) by the development of regional research frameworks

The excessive use of chemical fertilizers in Nepalese agriculture threatens crop production and environmental health, adversely impacting soil, water quality, and human health. In this context, vermiwash emerges as an effective, cost-efficient, and organic alternative. Derived from the interaction of water with earthworms and organic waste, vermiwash serves as a nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer that enhances soil health, promotes plant growth, and boosts crop yields. Trees and shrubs are potentially important sources of food for livestock in many parts of the world, but their use is limited by tannins. Tannins reduce food intake by decreasing digestibility or by causing illness. Supplementing cattle, sheep, and goats with polyethylene glycol (PEG), which has a high affinity for binding tannins and thus attenuating their aversive effects, increases intake of high-tannin foods and improves weight gains and wool growth. The objectives of this proposal were: Objective 1: To further delineate the conditions under which PEG affects intake of high-tannin foods. O

This executive summary presents the argument for using taxation as a development tool rather than simply a source of revenue. It also touches on some of the problem areas in tax systems including evasion, regressive personal income tax structures, and the failure to use taxes to improve environmental quality and general well-being. Together, this summary and the table of contents of the book provide just a taste of the rich information and valuable policy implications that distinguish this year's edition of the DIA.
