The study examines the correlation between headmasters' innovative leadership practices and the professionalism among teachers in private primary schools in Selangor. Data from 341 teachers from 131 schools was analysed using a quantitative survey approach. Using Gliddon's (2006) Innovative Leadership Model and the Malaysian Teacher Standards (2009) as its core framework, it assesses motivation, creativity, commitment, role/power for each leadership dimension, knowledge, skills, and professional values as professionalism.
