My primary argument in this thesis is that creation theologies significantly influenced early developments in the doctrine of the Trinity, especially in Augustine of Hippo’s theology. Thus this is a work of historical theology, but I conclude with proposals for how Augustine’s theologies of creation and the Trinity can be read fruitfully with modern theology. I critically analyse developments in trinitarian theologies in light of ideas that were held about creation. These include the doctrine of creation ‘out of nothing’ and ideas about other creative acts (e.g., forming or fashioning things).

Abstract:
The objective of this thesis is to investigate the impact of private equity (PE) ownership on family businesses in north-eastern Italy and their performance using a mixed-method approach with both qualitative and quantitative analysis, investigating whether and how a private equity transaction could benefit a family business. Family firms are strongly characterised by a strong emotional attachment and a long-term perspective, while private equity firms focus urgently on financial performance and value creation. The quantitative analysis carried out on a single, independently constructed sample

Abstract:
The present doctoral research addresses value co-creation processes in a timely context, i.e., circular entrepreneurship, and it relies on a mixed-methods research design including an exploratory qualitative study and a subsequent quantitative one. The thesis is composed of three interrelated chapters, each of which constitutes a paper with its structure. The entire work is rooted in the value co-creation theory, which has been developed in service marketing literature with the seminal work by Vargo and Lusch (2004) and it has influenced many research streams in other disciplines such as strat

The research explored the long-term relationship between FDI, GDP and host country employment by using sector-wise panel data from 1991 to 2017 in Namibia. The study applied unit root testing and Cointegration test to test for the presence of a cointegration relationship between the variables. Also, a vector autoregression model short-run causality among the variables was examined. In the end, Impulse response functions are estimated. The research found both a short term and long-term causality going from FDI inflow to employment. Impulse responses show that both GDP and employment respond pos

Despite that, there is the general recognition that theory and practice about co-creation are still at an initial phase, and not all the potentials of this process have been explored. This is true especially in the tourism industry. Starting from these considerations, this research aims to elaborate and to test a model useful to contribute to the relevant issue of designing and managing the role of tourists a

Moving towards a more circular economic model is necessary in order to secure the sufficiency of vital raw materials and to achieve a balance between both economic and environmental prosperity. However, the discussion regarding circular economy from a business perspective is still rather limited, and the practical applications of circular economy are mostly related to waste management and industrial applications. Needless to say, circular economy is much more than just large-scale recycling. Circular economy, as a system which aims to ensure a more circular flow of resources, materials and ene
