This article offers a comprehensive literature review of Developmental Assets™, defined as the positive building blocks that all children and adolescents need to succeed. The article examines the usefulness of the Developmental Assets for a comprehensive, developmental, and strengths-based school counseling program. For the development of a seismic analysis methodology, a preliminary evaluation of one single block and single column stacked block structure under a harmonic excitation was performed.
