Abstract Industrial mixers of solid bulk or powder components have been widely used in food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, and many other industrial branches. Industrial mixers are designed for homogeneous mixing of dry ingredients: fodder, groats, bio supplement, fertilizers, flour, spices, etc. The general principle for all types of dry mixing is to take the product that is being mixed from one area and transfer it to another area. This procedure is repeated many times, and in the process of additional edge mixing of the zones, it leads to the distribution of the components in each oth

Today’s economic situation creates conditions for revising the existing base of materials and raw materials in construction, as well as for transforming and using it in the future. One of the ways to achieve this goal is the creation of new types of building materials, more effective and low in the price category compared to the classic ones. Dry building mixtures belongs to such materials. The high quality of dry building mixes is guaranteed by the stability of their composition and the properties of the ingredients used. Abstract:
Transportation has an enormous impact on the U.S. economy and on the lives of all Americans. Many modes of transportation rely on pavement, but pavement conditions deteriorate over time because of the combined effects of traffic and climate. Exposure to moisture often causes premature failure of asphalt pavements as it reduces the stiffness of the asphalt and enables stripping of the asphalt from the aggregate. This research evaluates the effectiveness of clay nanomaterials (i.e., nanoclays) in improving the resistance of hot mix asphalt (HMA) to moisture damage and compares the enhancement re
