The biologically active metabolite of vitamin D, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (VD3), exerts its tissue-specific actions through binding to its intracellular vitamin D receptor (VDR) which functions as a heterodimer with retinoid X receptor (RXR) to recognize vitamin D response elements (VDRE) and activate target genes. Upregulation of VDR in murine skeletal muscle cells occurs concomitantly with transcriptional regulation of key myogenic factors upon VD3 administration, reinforcing the notion that VD3 exerts beneficial effects on muscle. AbstractA digital twin (DT) model reflects one or a group of physical objects that exist in a complex real system to a virtual space. By interconnecting and coordinating multiple independent models, a DT network (DTN) can be built to map the associations and interactions between physical objects. In this chapter, we present DT models in terms of modelling frameworks, modelling methods, and modelling challenges. Then we elaborate the concept of DTNs and compare it with the concept of DT. The communication mechanisms, application scenarios, and open research issues of DTNs are then discussed.

Redes tolerantes a atrasos e desconexões (DTNs) são uma classe de redes que apresentam frequentes partições e longos atrasos. Redes com estas características possuem uma variedade de aplicações como comunicações entre dispositivos com restrições de energia, comunicações rurais, submarinas e interplanetárias. Abstract Interfacial tension (IFT) reduction and wettability alteration (WA) are the two most important mechanisms for chemical EOR. When two mechanisms are combined, however, the relative contribution of each mechanism is hard to determine. Researchers have obtained different, sometimes conflicting, conclusions. Numerical simulation studies usually suggest that, when WA happens, IFT should not be reduced. Hochr.) ผักปลาบใบกว้าง (Commelina benghalensis L.) ผักบุ้งรั้ว (Ipomoea digitata L.) ผักบุ้งพุ่ม (Ipomoea fistulosa Mart. ex Choisy) และบานไม่รู้โรยป่า (Gomphrena celosioides Mart. (G. decumbens)) ผลการศึกษาพบว่าต้อยติ่งเป็นวัชพืชที่สามารถสะสมทองแดง สังกะสี และนิกเกิลทั้งต้นได้มากที่สุดเท่ากับ 1,522 4,111 และ 7,332 มิลล
