With the reduction technology moving down to Deep Submicron level, the digital designs are moving closer to the probability of defects related to time. The traditional Stuck-at tests and IDDQ tests can no more detect few distinctive faults which may be occurring due to issues related to timing of the signal. The defect spectrum is thus broadened by the inclusion of other types of faults such as high impedance shorts, in-line resistan

Background and Objective. Heart failure (HF) is becoming an increasingly serious public health issue. The six-minute walk test (6-MWT) is a useful tool for determining the prognosis of HF patients. Due to a lack of research on their predictive relevance in 6-MWT, the goal of the study was to see if 6-MWT was indeed beneficial as a predictive indicator of death in patients with mild-to-moderate congestive heart failure. Methods. Secondary data was employed in this investigation. The 6-MWT was used to divide the walking lengths of 45 individuals with HF into two performance levels: Group I ≤3

A key problem is that this test method can take up to multiple months, and sometimes years to complete. A test case is a set of input data and expected output, designed to verify whether the system under test satisfies all requirements and works correctly. An effective test case reveals a fault when the actual output differs from the expected output (i.e., the test case fails). The effectiveness of test cases is estimated using quality metrics, such as code coverage, size, and historical fault detection. Prior studies have shown that previously failing test cases are highly likely to fail again in the next releases; therefore, they are ranked higher. However, in practice, a failing test case may

Fitness-for-purpose analyses are being increasingly used in the engineering assessment of the safety of gas pipelines. The potential need for this arises because of the likelihood of a defect being present in the girth weld. Many of these analyses make an allowance for the residual stress caused by the weld, whilst others do not. It has been argued that if a defect survives the field hydrostatic test that the residual stress distribution will be altered and this could subsequently affect the tolerable defect size analysis.
