Nano systems with combined magnetic and plasmonic functionalities have become an active topic of research in recent years. By an adequate internal architecture of the constituting components, the magneto-optical activity of these systems can be greatly intensified due to the electromagnetic field enhancement associated with the plasmon resonance. One of such approaches is a creating of magnetoplasmonic crystals (MPlCs) based on the noble and ferromagnetic metals. Ammonia, one of the most essential raw ingredient for fertilizers, pharmaceuticals and neutralization. However, the widespread production of ammonia heavily depends on the Haber-Bosch process, which entails substantial use of fossil fuels due to the demanding reaction conditions involving high pressure and temperature. Consequently, finding a sustainable method for synthesizing ammonia becomes crucial in addressing environmental pollution and mitigating energy crises. In order to improve the efficiency of ammonia production, using materials with high catalytic activity is an important factor.

The lift- off or "touch" method was shown to be advantageous in that one could test steel objects having irregular surfaces, such as occurring with the presence of welds. Abstract Stress corrosion cracking (SCC), especially in existing boiling water reactor (BWR) components, is most effectively accomplished by reducing the corrosion potential. This was successfully demonstrated by adding hydrogen to BWR water, which reduced oxidant concentration and corrosion potential by recombining with the radiolytically formed oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. However, reduction in the corrosion potential for some vessel internals is difficult, and others require high hydrogen addition rates, which results in an increase in the main steam radiation level from volatile N16.
