When we counted, the number was 47. 47 languages were spoken by the staff of Busara who had gathered in Nairobi to celebrate our annual research festival Tara Mistari in September 2023 for the third time. We probably even missed quite a few, such is nature of hybrid events and not everyone attending. The different languages listed were spoken within national borders and across a huge amount of locations all over the world.
