One could also ask: is it not necessary for theology to engage with communal forms of festivity, not just theoretically, but performatively, if Christianity itself is fundamentally festive? According

The rituals accompanying festive events also undergo transformation, which is conditioned not only by the logic of cultural development, but also, among other things, by the absence of a model of the original action. This allows for a multi-variant construction of a festive and ritual action. In modern times, it is more correct to speak of constructing a new rituality within the framework of festive culture. For the event organiser, Sabah is one of the states that becomes a focal point. As Sabah is one of the most popular tourist destinations, several large events such as the Sabah Jazz Festival, Pesta Lepa-lepa, Pesta Kaamatan, Pesta Kalimaran, and other festivals have been held. However, COVID 19’s disruptive impacts have had such a significant impact on the event sector. Most of the events are getting cancelled or postponed all over the world. In my doctoral research, even though I chose the scientific route and not the professional one, I sought to expand the theoretical discourse in various applicative areas. In order to understand the springs of clowning and the psychosomatic structure of the clown actor, I conducted a non-verbal monologue study about the trickster, I participated in physical and online workshops with clowning teachers from the UK and Spain and, last but not least, I conducted together with an interdisciplinary team a niche theatrical laboratory with the theme: the clown condition of some dramatic characters. Abstract:
This report explores the impact of policy interventions and social/cultural factors on crowd behaviour at Reading Festival from 2000 to 2024, examining how crime and antisocial behaviour have evolved over time. While measures such as eviction policies, safeguarding, fire bans, and inclusivity campaigns like #LookOutForEachother have had positive effects, perceived gaps remain in security enforcement and drug prevention. Social and environmental factors, including media portrayals and festival culture shifts, have also played a role in changing attendee behaviour.

Abstract:
When we counted, the number was 47. 47 languages were spoken by the staff of Busara who had gathered in Nairobi to celebrate our annual research festival Tara Mistari in September 2023 for the third time. We probably even missed quite a few, such is nature of hybrid events and not everyone attending. The different languages listed were spoken within national borders and across a huge amount of locations all over the world. The 47 languages affirm our identity as an international Global South organization.

This article discusses the use of festivals more specifically as marketing tools for a brand or company and how such cultural and political events can influence the perception and behaviour of the consumers. The study looks at marketing of festivals in Lithuania and seeks to measure the effectiveness of this type of marketing by assessing the consumption and purchase behaviour as well as the attention to the brand by local and foreign festival participants. Based on our previous research (Rogers et al 2021) we noticed a difference between how artists think the arts relate to society, and how young people imagine this relationship. Young people wanted to see (and connected most strongly to) art works that more immediately engaged with the pressing social issues of Cambodia, many of which are political – including climate change, the expression of identity and human rights (e.g. LGBTQ identity), corruption and scams, and democracy. However, artists, particularly in the performing arts and music sectors, must walk a tightrope in making works that ad
