At the present stage, digital information technologies create a new education system focused on the global educational space. In general education schools, in connection with the adoption of the updated program, the section Geoinformatics and cartography provides for the use of developing a map-scheme, modeling and conducting small studies on the topic under study. As a result, digital technology has a place in geographical education. This is due to significant changes in the pedagogical and methodological approach in teaching geography and other disciplines. As a result, the education system

Abstract:
This paper supersedes a report published in May 2022 on an earlier version of the online interactive evidence gap map (EGM) on digital financial services (DFS) (Mader et al. 2022a). The current EGM can be found and explored here. This paper presents the results of a more recent updated search for studies. Our initial search in 2021 had identified 205 relevant studies, of which 40 studies were categorised by us as high confidence, 97 as medium confidence, and 68 as low confidence. The update search in November 2022 identified a further 521 studies for the period from May 2021 to November 2022.

Review question / Objective: Researchers may conduct scoping reviews instead of systematic reviews where the purpose of thereview is to identify knowledge gaps, scope a body of literature, clarify concepts or to investigate research conduct. While useful in their own right, scoping reviews may also be helpful precursors to systematic reviews and can be used to confirm the relevance of inclusion criteria and potential questions. (Munn et al. BMC Medical Research Methodology (2018) 18:143) The aim of this review is to scope the empirical-based and peer-reviewed European OS research literature an

Abstract:
Digital financial services (DFS) have expanded rapidly over the last decade, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. They have been accompanied by claims that they can alleviate poverty, empower women, help businesses grow, and improve macroeconomic outcomes and government effectiveness. As they have become more widespread, some controversy has arisen as governments have identified DFS revenues and profits as potential sources of tax revenue. Evidence-based policy in relation to taxing DFS requires an understanding of the enablers and barriers (preconditions) of DFS, as well as the impacts of DFS.

Maeno, Yoshiharu. Epidemiological geographic profiling for a meta-population network. Web of Open Science, 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.37686/ser.v1i2.78.

Full text
Abstract:
Epidemiological geographic profiling is a statistical method for making inferences about likely areas of a source from the geographical distribution of patients. Epidemiological geographic profiling algorithms are developed to locate a source from the dataset on the number of new cases for a meta-population network model. It is found from the WHO dataset on the SARS outbreak that Hong Kong remains the most likely source throughout the period of observation. This reasoning is pertinent under the restricted circumstance that the number of reported probable cases in China was missing, unreliable,

Full text
Abstract:
As an initial screening to identify areas in Montana that may be appropriate for the MAR surface infiltration method, a suitability analysis was conducted using a geographic information system (GIS) and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). Four hydrogeologic criteria were chosen for the suitability analysis: geology/aquifer, depth to groundwater, soil permeability, and topographic slope. The final suitability map is provided as a plate and as an interactive WebApp that identifies locations that appear hydrogeologically suitable for MAR surface infiltration methods.

Geographic maps have been of military and economic importance throughout the ages. Rulers have commissioned maps to control the financial, economic, political, and military aspects of their sovereign entities. Large scale projects like the Ordnance Survey in the UK in the late 18th century, and the Lewis and Clark Expedition a few decades later to map the American West, are early examples of trailblazing efforts to create accurate modern maps of high strategic importance. Abstract:
This paper presents a new data fusion multiscale observation product (MOP) for flood emergencies. The MOP was created by integrating multiple sources of contributed open-source data with traditional spaceborne remote sensing imagery to provide a sequence of high spatial and temporal resolution flood inundation maps. The study focuses on the 2015 Memorial Day floods that caused up to US$61 million of damage. The Hydraulic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) model was used to simulate water surfaces for the northern part of the Trinity River in Dallas, using reservoir surcharge re
