Abstract:
Heating and cooling consume half of the EU’s energy and much of it is wasted. The lion’s share of heating and cooling is still generated from fossil fuels, mainly natural gas, while only 18% is generated from renewable energy. In order to fulfil the EU’s climate and energy goals, the heating and cooling sector must therefore sharply reduce its energy consumption and cut its use of fossil fuels. To this end the European Commission adopted a heating and cooling strategy in February 2016 as part of the wider Energy Union Package. A number of activities and projects funded by the

Abstract:
Haulepta riddifordi sp. n. (Diptera: Phoridae) is described from Port de Pollensa in Mallorca. It is evaluated against the genera Pseudacteon Coquillett, Apocephalus Coquillett, Veruanus Schmitz, Lepta Schmitz and the only other described member of the genus Haulepta, H. sheasbyi Disney. The female oviscape is weakly sclerotised and is similar to that of Microselia southwoodi Disney; it lacks the well-developed scythe-like structure that is characteristic of, for example, Pseudacteon. There is a possible association with ants of the genus Tapinoma Fabricius (Formicidae), which were abundant at

Abstract:
This chapter examines Disney’s animated feature film The Sword in the Stone (1963), based on T. H. White’s account of the future king’s childhood. The final film features six songs written by Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, designed to add to the tone of Disney’s adaptation as a fantasy for children. This chapter considers how the Disney version alters the characters depicted in White’s book. Unsurprisingly, the animated film abridges White’s story for its seventy-nine-minute runtime. Despite the numerous changes, The Sword in the Stone contributes to the musical retellings of T. H.
