The method used is critical discourse analysis, based on postcolonial theory formation. The focus of the analysis is to examine how Ethiopia and its population are represented in the text. I artikel 28 och 29 i konventionen står det att barn har rätt till utbildning och att den ska syfta till att lära barn om deras rättigheter.
