10 cases of histopathologically suggestive lesions for parvovirus in the canine species were examined by the avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex. For this, a mouse monoclonal antibody was used. Following the immunohistochemical examination, positive results were obtained in 80% (8 dogs) of processed samples. The most frequent positive immunohistochemical reaction was observed in macrophages, lymphocytes, necrotic cells of the intestinal crypt, evidence of parvoviral antigen is reliable for determining the etiology of the disease if parvovirus is suspected on the basis of the lesions. A functional immunohistochemical method for soya proteins detection was developed. The procedure is based on the avidin-biotin complex (ABC) method that attains sufficient sensitivity. The method was verified by the analysis of the model samples of different forms of soya additives containing various concentrations of soya isolate. The detection limit of soya present in the model samples was 0.5%. Different possibilities of the background staining were tested.

The proposed method relies on combining an object detection network, which is tailor-made for microscopy images, with a marker-based image segmentation method to produce the final segmentation, while requiring only a 50x50 training patch to do so.
