IntroductionThe majority of studies on the HIP IQ attest a heterogeneity of the IQ profile as specific to HIP. However, the samples are recruited in clinical consultations. Thus, it is important to investigate new samples from schools.ObjectivesWe aimed to analyze the index scores of the IQ profile of children without disorders or specific school assistance.MethodsThe WISC-V was conducted and analyzed in 80 healthy children (50 HIP vs. 30 non-HIP), aged 7-to-13 years-old (mean 10y; SD 1.8). All children were recruited in private and public schools in Paris. Results All IQ index scores were sign

Cognitive–achievement relations research has been instrumental in understanding the development of academic skills and learning difficulties. Most cognitive–achievement relations research has been conducted with large samples and represent average relations across the ability spectrum. A notable gap in the literature is whether these relations vary by cognitive ability levels (IQ). This study examined cognitive–achievement relations across different general ability levels (Low, Average, and High) to fill this gap. Based on Spearman’s Law of Diminishing Returns, it would be expected that genera

Purpose Existing research on the measurability of information quality (IQ) has delivered poor results and demonstrated low inter-rater agreement measured by Intra-Class Correlation (ICC) in evaluating IQ dimensions. Low ICC could result in a questionable interpretation of IQ. The purpose of this paper is to analyse whether assessors’ motivation can facilitate ICC. Methodology To acquire the participants’ views of IQ, we designed a survey as a gamified process. Additionally, we selected Web study to reach a broader audience. Introduction: Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a genetic disorder that can be diagnosed by early onset screening tests. In embryos and newborns with sickle cell syndrome, the anatomic development and brain circulation is less than the normal people, and brain circulation plays an important role in brain development. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of IQ in children with SCD. Patients and Patients and Methods: The study was a descriptive-epidemiologic. The population of the present study was all children aged 7-14 years old with SCD in Ahvaz. The sample of this study
