ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) tools are increasingly being adopted across a wide range of scientific disciplines, offering transformative potential in data analysis and interpretation and can enhance the understanding and optimization of medical databases. Specifically, in the context of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), prognostic models such as UISS, SSIGN, and ASSURE scores are commonly utilized to estimate recurrence risk and overall survival. However, these models rely heavily on conventional statistical methods and predefined clinical parameters. Our aim was to investigate the feasibil

Introduction: This study examined the potential impact of private equity (PE) acquisitions on patient satisfaction in U.S. hospitals with cancer care centers. Given the growing trend of PE involvement in healthcare, we hypothesized that ownership changes could correlate with measurable declines in perceived quality of care. Methods: From a national dataset of 5,395 Medicare-participating hospitals, we filtered to 2,405 facilities that met criteria for dedicated oncology services and comprehensive cancer care, including defined treatment facilities and national program affiliations. The hemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte, and platelet (HALP) score is a prognostic factor commonly applied in the evaluation of patients suffering from malignant tumours. This score has emerged as a potential preoperative risk assessment tool; however, its predictive accuracy for free flap failure has not been fully evaluated. In several papers, the author has discussed the possibility of the computational literary work generation. That was based on Julia Kristeva's the concept of the intertextuality. This very simple application was achieved by random combination of the selected words/phrases/letters. It is a simple technique such as the cutup method. The author showed even such a simple method could generate literary works that can be regarded as not so bad literary works. However, for more intelligent generation, the author introduced abduction. This chapter discusses Simone de Beauvoir’s visit to China in 1955, foregrounding the pitfalls of East-West encounters. Schooled in Marxist thought and eager to see a fundamental renewal of social norms and ideas after World War II, Beauvoir was keen to learn about New China and the potential role models it offered. Her monumental book La longue marche (The Long March), published two years after her trip, testifies to the great interest she harboured vis-à-vis China. At the same time, Hung states, it is curious to note what little impact her own writing, most notably her now canonical work Le
