This thesis applies the food security concept to assess the significance of seagrass-associated invertebrate gleaning for providing food security in Kaole, Tanzania. It assesses the availability, accessibility, utilisation and stability over time of this food source. To explore this, a multi-strategy research design was used. Abstract:

This thesis deals with designing shape modifications of a toecap used in Honeywell brand safety shoes. The thesis shows algorithm of compression test and impact test FEA in ANSYS software. The toecap was divided into areas according to von-Misses stress. Several modifications were made in all areas separately, according to design of experiments. Best of the modifications were combined together and two best combinations selected. The goals were verified by experimental testing of manufactured toecaps. The results were even a little bit better than simulations.

Abstract:

Studiens syfte är att undersöka pojkars attityder till läsning av skönlitteratur. Vi vill med våra frågeställningar ta reda på vilka faktorer som påverkar deras läsning av skönlitteratur. Arbetet syftar till att undersöka vad pojkarna läser samt vad de anser att de får ut av sin läsning. Vi har använt oss av enkätundersökningar och kvalitativa intervjusamtal för att uppnå studiens syfte. Resultatet visar sammanfattningsvis att pojkarna i urvalet sällan uppger har läsning som ett prioriterat intresse. This project set out to examine trace element concentrations in kale (part of the Brassica oleracea family) from two sources in Tucson, Arizona: community gardens and grocery stores. The study evaluated whether the vegetable accumulates different concentrations of trace metals Al, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Cd, Pb, and Mo in urban settings than it does at commercial farm locations. Median grocery concentrations exceeded median garden concentrations for all metals except Zn, Pb, and Mo. <p> The 1st of July 2006 Sweden made a change of authorities in the system concerning the reception of separated asylum seeking children. Prior to the change, the Swedish Board of Migration was held completely responsible for the reception of these children, who arrives in Sweden without their parents or any other relatives to care for them.
