Incidents are caused by a variety of factors, and there are correlations between incident causative factors. How to effectively clarify the importance of incidental injury-causing factors and their correlations is the current technical challenge in the field of incident causation analysis. This paper takes the study of injury-causing factors and their relationships between object-striking incidents in the process of construction as an example, and it statistically analyzes the incident investigation reports of 126 cases of object-striking incidents in construction projects in China from 2016 t

Abstract Background: The determination of reliable, practical Quality Indicators (QIs) from presentation of the patient with a pathology request form through to the clinician receiving the report (the Total Testing Process or TTP) is a key step in identifying areas where improvement is necessary in laboratories. Methods: The Australasian QIs programme Key Incident Monitoring and Management System (KIMMS) began in 2008. It records incidents (process defects) and episodes (occasions at which incidents may occur) to calculate incident rates. KIMMS also uses the Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA

The article presents the results of factor analysis of data on road traffic incidents, aimed at identifying key factors contributing to their occurrence. The main focus is on variables such as drivers' experience, causes of incidents, types of vehicles involved, road conditions, and the date of the incidents. By using statistical methods, the structure of incident data was uncovered, and two main components were identified, allowing for the proposal of new approaches to strategies and measures to enhance road traffic safety.

These hazards can be divided into two groups - general and specific hazards. Given the fact that general hazards can occur unrelated to civil engineering machines, greater emphasis will be placed on

Traffic congestion causes Americans to lose millions of hours and dollars each year. In fact, 1.9 billion gallons of fuel are wasted each year due to traffic congestion, and each hour stuck in traffic costs about $21 in wasted time and fuel. The traffic congestion can be caused by various factors, such as bottlenecks, traffic incidents, bad weather, work zones, poor traffic signal timing, and special events. One key step to addressing traffic congestion and identifying its root cause is an accurate prediction of traffic flow. Accurate traffic flow prediction is also important for the successfu
