Abstract:
The paper considers the laws of functioning of discrete dynamical systems. The special theoretical apparatus of geometrical images of automata is used for formal representation of the laws of functioning. Specific processes of system functioning and the law of functioning of the system as a whole are defined by geometric curves and numerical sequences. The spectrum of dynamic parameters of the recurrence definition of numerical sequences is used to build estimates of the complexity of processes and laws of functioning.

Abstract. Pump speed, input power, pressure and discharge data are analyzed for evaluating functioning conditions of Casale pumping station in Mantova, Italy, managed by TeaAcque. A model based on the affinity laws is used to simulate the behavior of the installed variable speed pumps. Quadratic and cubic polynomial curves are used to fit the pump data given by the affinity laws. Such curves allow predicting the efficiency when the functioning conditions change. The relationship between the rotation speed and the efficiency is also derived.

Competition law plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the free market economy. It aims to deter potential infringers, detect anticompetitive behavior, sanction those behaviors, and finally, compensate the affected parties of these behaviors. Historically, competition law has been used predominately as a deterrent mechanism, and only if violations are detected, as a mechanism to sanction the wrongdoers. Compensation of victims has played a secondary role. However, in the past decade, there were many scandals such as Dieselgate, Cambridge Analytica, and Ryanair's mass cancellation

Rule of law is a much-debated concept today, and it is one of the fundamental pillars of any democratic system. When it comes to the countries of the Western Balkans striving to become members of the European Union, it is important to look at the characteristics they have in this respect, and to what extent they meet the criteria for becoming a member state. Due to their particular way of development, there are different de facto political systems functioning within the region, which is an obstacle that also stands in the way of rule of law. We explored some of the questions posed by digitalisation in an accompanying working paper focused on constitutional theory: Digitalisation, the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ and the Constitutional Law of Privacy in South Africa. In that paper, we asked what legal resources are available in the South African legal system to respond to the risk and benefits posed by digitalisation. We argued that this question would be best answered by developing what we have termed a 'South African public law perspective'. The report explores the need for SPOs to think about their Boards strategically and invest in strengthening them. Depending on deployment scenarios, OAE should theoretically have variable effects on pH and seawater pCO2, which might in turn affect (a) plankton growth conditions and (b) the efficiency of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) via OAE. Thus, a major focus of our work is how different magnitudes and temporal frequencies of OAE might affect seasonal response patterns of net primary productivity (NPP), ecosystem functioning and
