From 1980 to 1983, I served as the Folklife in Education Coordinator for the Ohio Arts Council. The program is an outgrowth of a collaboration between the Folk Arts and the Artists in Education programs, which the National Endowment for the Arts designed to incorporate folk arts and artists into AIE's Artists-in-Residence program.
