Materials and methods. The investigation was conducted in 160 patients, to whom antibiotic was introduced by various methods: 53 – intramuscularly; 52
 – intravenously; 55 – lymphotropically. In part of the patients the antibiotic was introduced at 1 h preoperatively, and to the rest – at 2 h. Abstract:
Chickens are the main natural host for Marek's disease virus (MDV), a mostly cell-associated but mainly transmitted alpha herpesvirus with lymphotropic properties of gamma herpesviruses. Turkeys can be artificially infected as well as naturally infected quail. However, major clinical outbreaks of Marek's disease in commercial turkey flocks, with mortality from tumors reaching 40%–80% between 8 and 17 weeks of age, were reported in France, Israel, and Germany. One of the most common avian illnesses, Marek's disease has been found in flocks of chickens all around the world.

Detailed analysis of the coding potential, however, revealed that MarB43 is probably forced to use the human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 2/STLV-2 env-tax-rex splice-acceptor homologue and that the proximal pX auxiliary proteins p12I, p13II, p30II and p27I seem to have lost their function. Introduction. The incidence and features of acute pancreatitis stimulate the scientific community and clinicians to look for new antibiotics and new algorithms for their use in treating this disease, which is the world's third most frequent acute surgical disease. Despite this, acute pancreatitis mortality indicates the need for better approaches, especially in conditions of microbial resistance to antibiotics, which determines the urgency of the problem. The objective of the paper was to justify lymphotropic antibacterial therapy as an alternative method of treatment of acute pancreatitis bas

One in three people develop cancer during their lives and 10–20 per cent of human cancers are linked to viruses. ‘Tumour viruses’ shows how viral oncogenes have been instrumental in uncovering the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer development. Tumours develop when a single cell in an organism is released from the usual constraints that regulate its growth and then replicates unchecked. This rogue cell then produces a mass of similar cells, forming a tumour (or cancer) that invades the surrounding tissues and may spread from its original site. The tumour-causing behaviour of oncogenic ret
