Ein wegen Ataxie euthanasiertes, erst 7 Monate altes, weibliches Schaf wurde pathologisch-anatomisch und histopathologisch untersucht. Sowohl das Gehirn als auch das Schädeldach waren von einem malignen Melanom infiltriert. Metastasen fanden sich in Leber und Nieren. The cutaneous form is the most common type, and it represents about 5% of the skin tumors diagnosed in Brazil.
