The article studies some topical aspects of improving the organization of production inventory accounting, in particular, the issue of identification of this accounting category and the problems of accounting valuation of production inventories. The key components of the identification of the accounting category “production inventories” are determined. The author’s own definition is presented and substantiated, according to which production inventories are stocks (i. e., tangible current assets) held by an enterprise for the purpose of further one-time consumption (which will lead to a change

Properly disposal of industrial waste is a recurring issue due to its large volume and environmental impact. In turn, civil construction has shown itself to be a potential consumer of waste and can contribute to expanding the circular economy. Clay matrix materials have been a focus of interest for absorbing waste, with the possibility of varying their aesthetics, depending on the waste, as an exposed clay brick. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the research and technological trends on the topic to truly meet the demands of the market and society, in an innovative and sustainable way.

In homes, universities, and school labs, chemical compounds are used often. Numerous combinations can expose human beings to risk their fitness and protection. Skin contact, inhalation, or oral ingestion can all cause exposure. The control of dangerous chemical compounds, such as purchase, usage and disposal, must be accomplished through a department's laboratory inventory program. Safe chemical handling, storage, transportation, and disposal are components of an efficient chemical management program. This research aims to create lab inventory, a mobile android app for handling the high school

Abstract:
The Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) at Villigen (Switzerland) operates the most powerful accelerator facility in Europe. Due to the increasing quantities of accelerator waste with almost unknown radionuclide inventory, the development of new radio-analytical methods is an urgent task. Besides the characterization by γ-measurements and dose rate determinations, also the investigation of long-lived radionuclides, being probably essential for a final disposal, is required from Swiss authorities. Chemical separation is necessary for the determination of the majority of these isotopes. As a represent

The validation of the extraction method is significant for the characterization of the offset effluent and the selection of an adequate effluent treatment for its safe disposal in a printing environment. For the aforementioned reasons, the qualitative characterization of the organic load profile of the waste offset developer was evaluated based on the application of two liquid/liquid (L/L) extraction methods. The gas chromatographic/mass spectrometric (GC/MS) method was used for the qualitative detection of the organic compounds present in the offset effluent. The cumulative qualitative GC/MS

Since 1980, the Agency is responsible by law for the safe management of all radioactive waste produced in Belgium, including decommissioning wastes. By the law of 11 January 1991 and the implementing Royal Decree of 16/10/1991, ONDRAF/NIRAS has been entrusted with a mission concerning the decommissioning of nuclear facilities. This mission involves the collection and assessment of data concerning decommissioning forecasts for nuclear facilities, the approval of facilities’ decommissioning programmes, the establishment — in consultation with operators — of financing conditions for decommissioni

Abstract:
The objectives of this project were to: (1) examine known techniques of evaluating coating quality on buried pipe; (2) select one or more of these methods for in-situ testing; (3) develop a field test procedure that a corrosion technician can follow using equipment typically at his or her disposal; and (4) evaluate the feasibility of using this procedure both before and after the bored pipe is tied in. Two methods - coating conductance and current requirements - were tested on epoxy-coated pipe samples which were back filled with soil having a different resistivities. Both test methods proved

Abstract:
On military installations, an average of 1.2 pounds in food waste is disposed per person per day, accounting for 68% of dining facility (DFAC) refuse and 46% of the total installation refuse stream, making food waste the heaviest portion of installation solid waste. At a single installation, this can contribute up to 1.5 million dollars lost yearly from food waste alone. Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 4715.23 (DoD 2016) establishes policy and prescribes procedures to implement waste management through waste prevention and recycling.
