<em>Migration is an important aspect of demography which induces changes. It is an established fact that large scale urbanization is mainly caused by rural to urban migrations rather than natural growth of population itself. The causes of migration are numerous ranging from natural disasters, climate change, epidemic socio-economic and political factors etc. Backwardness and lack of opportunities, better income, modern amenities attract them to migrate. Thus push and pull factors operate simultaneously is the decision making process of migrations. Thus rural areas are of lacking youths and wor

Irregular migration is an issue of great concern for today’s world. There are various factors which are responsible for this conundrum. These are overpopulation, natural disaster, poverty, illiteracy, lack of employment opportunities, for a better life etc. Thus, irregular migration has been a livelihood strategy for the millions of people worldwide for the long time. Bangladesh is one of the top countries of the world in terms of sending labor migrants.
