Abstract:
In recent years the separation between ethnographic research and the ethnographic text have continued to collapse. No longer is the anthropologist the sole authority on determining the native's point of view. Anthropologists are now writing within newer collaborative frameworks-newer frameworks that continue to challenge who has the right to speak for whom. This shift in ethnographic writing allows us to explore culture even more deeply through the process of obtaining narratives that focus on dialoguing the encounter between ethnographer and consultant. Abstract:
This thesis explores the effects of an experience of terrorism on the everyday lives of five ordinary people from different walks of life. I use storytelling, everyday ethics, and collaborative ethnography to enable the co-creation of emergent knowledge on the struggle to live ethical, hopeful lives after experiencing trauma. My work adds to the growing body of collaborative and ethical anthropological literature and brings an ethnographic approach into the area of terrorism/victim studies. The experimental nature of the thesis lies in its invitation to people with an experience of terror to p

Can interorganisational relationships be managed for effective functioning? This is the problem investigated in this research. Organisations world-wide are adopting co-operative relationships with other organisations. These interorganisational relationships are viewed as a way to enhance their own business performance (Williamson 1985, 1991; Dyer 1997; Gulati 1998; Barringer & Harrison 2000; Das & Teng 2000; Quinn 2000; Stuart 2000; Johnson, Korsgaard & Sapienza 2002). Despite this, the success rate for interorganisational relationships is not high (Hutt, Stafford, Walker & Reingen 2000; Quinn

This paper details the journey of a first-year teacher. It is a highly reflective exploration of their inner landscape – one that documents the development of the teaching self in relation to students and society at large. Separated into four distinct sections, this work serves as an account of personal motivation to teach, getting to know students beyond the classroom walls, immersion in the community to situate educational work, and a comprehensive reflection upon teaching effectiveness and the evolution of the educating self. Jewellery as a tool in the identification of the deceased is increasingly referenced within the scientific process of Forensic Human Identification (FHI). Jewellery’s prevalence in society, connection to both place and geographic region, potential to corroborate primary methods of identification (such as DNA, fingerprinting, or odontology), and robust physical form, means it progressively contributes to practices surrounding identification in a number of forensic fields. For the last decade, one question has haunted me: what helps people to cope with large-scale organisational change in their workplace? This study explores the construct of personal change resilience, and its potential for identifying solutions to the problems of change fatigue and change resistance. The thesis has emerged from the fields of change management, leadership, training, mentoring, evaluation, management and trust within the context of higher education in Australia at the beginning of the twenty-first century.

In this paper, we aim to understand how the social actors of a community on the outskirts of Aracaju, Sergipe, and sighted policy practiced in their daily lives. These analyzes are guided by research on memory, enunciated through the narratives tessitura, which emerged through interviews by former residents. From these statements, it was possible to identify the direction of the trajectory of these subjects in a time and space that is configured through preterit symbolic procedurals that therefore allowed us to understand how to have relationships between the discourses, identities, self repre
