Abstract:
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran On the Job Training (OJT) yang diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga Pendidikan Vokasi dengan mengambil fokus di Program Studi Manajemen Lalu Lintas Udara (MLLU) Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar. Pelaksanaan evaluasi ditinjau dari 3 aspek yaitu: Desain, Implementasi, dan Hasil Program Pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan OJTI, Kepala Program Studi MLLU, serta Peserta OJT. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: Evaluasi terhadap desain program pembelajaran menunjukkan baik rencana kompetensi yang akan dikembangkan, strategi pembelajaran, dan isi program pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan kompetensi serta Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan Prodi MLLU. Selanjutnya evaluasi terhadap implementasi program pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program yang terdiri dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh OJTI dan Peserta OJT, serta pola interaksi yang terbangun selama program berlangsung telah sesuai dengan rencana yang telah disusun. Terakhir, evaluasi terhadap hasil program pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa hasil program pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan yang direncanakan dan program OJT dapat membawa dampak positif bagi para Taruna/i. Namun, dalam hal ketercapaian tujuan, program OJT masih perlu pengembangan kembali agar dapat mencapai tujuan program sepenuhnya.

Abstract:
The study explores the link between on-the-job training (OJT) and employeemotivation in modern workplaces. It uses a mixed-methods approach, involvingsurveysand interviews, to examine the correlation between OJT frequency and qualityandemployees' motivation levels. The findings suggest a positive correlation betweeneffective OJT programmed and increased motivation. Employees who receive regular, well-structured OJT opportunities show greater enthusiasm for their work, viewingthemas investments in their professional development. Qualitative insights reveal specificaspects of OJT that contribute to motivation enhancement, such as increasedjobknowledge, skill mastery, and organizational value. This study dealt with the assessment of On-the-Job Training (OJT) of selected academic programs of the Pangasinan State University. It determined the extent of attainment of OJT objectives and the activities observed and practiced in the Host Training Establishments (HTEs) by OJT students, the extent of provisions of the required competencies the extent of compliance of the requirements of PSU and HTEs in each of the phases of OJT activity, the extent of adequacy and condition of the required facilities of the Host Training Establishment, and the extent of the seriousness of the problems encountered in the implementation of OJT. The descriptive correlation method was used in this study. The OJT Students believed that the extent of adequacy and condition of the required HTEs' facilities significantly affect the effectiveness of provisions of the required OJT competencies.

Abstract:
This literature review presents the current state of research on structured on-the-job training (S-OJT) and proposes a research agenda for future research activities on this form of workplace learning. In the past three decades, S-OJT has emerged as an integral part of human resource development practice. The literature review seeks to identify the nature of S-OJT as it is described in the literature, categorize the existing research and practices of S-OJT, provide overview of three dimensions (audience, location, and conclusion) of each study involving S-OJT, and develop a conceptual framework for conducting research on S-OJT. Online databases including Business Source Premier & Complete, Academic Source Premier, Scopus, Primo Articles, JSTOR, and ERIC were used for the reviews. The results of this literature review provide a theoretical framework for understanding S-OJT as a means to promote future research and theory building.

Abstract:
On the Job Training (OJT) as part of the tourism vocational education curriculum is more than just a requirement to meet the adequacy of student graduation credits, OJT is required to provide student experience and competence to work after graduation. This study aims to determine work readiness which is determined by the perception and satisfaction of student OJT . This is a quantitative research utilizing the Structural Equation Model (SEM) as an analysis method. Utilizing the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) to quantify the level of student work readiness, the research results revealed that student perceptions did not significantly affect student OJT satisfaction, student OJT perception and satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on work readiness, while an indirect relationship between student perceptions of work readiness through OJT satisfaction showed insignificant results. These results conclude that factors that affect job satisfaction during the implementation of OJT have a significant impact on student work readiness. In the end, tourism vocational universities are required to be able to manage OJT well as an effort to create graduates who have competence and are ready to work and are highly competitive in the business world.

Abstract:
This study was conducted to identify the issues and problems which arise from the perceptions of students, lecturers, supervisors and the industry towards the on-the-job training (OJT) program, which was implemented in Malaysian Vocational College (KV) for 6 months in selected industries. This study is also looking for potential suggestions for the improvement of OJT within Vocational College. This study was carried out using a qualitative research design through a multiple-embedded case study approach. The context of this study includes the challenges faced in the implementation of Vocational College OJT involving students (Case A), OJT supervisor lecturers (Case B) and organizational supervisors (Case C). The sample involved in this study was selected using the purposive sampling method. This study uses the thematic analysis method, using NVIVO12 software as well as content analysis using the matrix method and pattern matching for the cases involved. This study has identified several challenges and issues in Vocational College OJT involving the suitability of the training ground, OJT supervision, the evaluation process and the allowance which affects the implementation of OJT. An important suggestion for future best practise, is to come up with a database of local industries that offer OJT places. This is necessary to avoid the placement of students outside the skill area.

Abstract:
The checking and monitoring of On-the-Job Trainee’s Attendance (OJT) faced several problems in the end of the OJT coordinators and the home institution. Some of the problems are checking the attendance of the OJT validation and verification of students’ attendance, tracking the students’ real-time OJT progress and generating up to date reports. It becomes even very alarming when the OJT Coordinators lost track the students’ OJT progress. This study sought to investigate and implement a solution using technology innovation mainly the internet of things to make checking of attendance and monitoring of progress effective and convenient. Using the Agile: Scrum methodology of software engineering, the researchers conducted a series of stakeholder’s meetings with the OJT coordinators to collect user stories. After the collection, the researchers developed a schedule of activities, staffing, hardware and software requirements in order to carry out all the tasks needed to deliver the fully functional product. To keep track the progress of the project, the Scrum master conducted a daily standup meeting with the team in order to express the points that might hinder the pace of the development. The team leader also communicates daily with the clients to give them a comprehensive update. Findings revealed that the current manual system used to check the OJT attendance and track OJT progress which is prone to fraud and tampering which causes record irregularities. Thus, there is a need to develop an internet of things based (IOT) based hardware and software application that checks the attendance and view reports in real-time. This research delves into the lived experiences of fourth-year hospitality management students from West Visayas State University-Lambunao during their On-the-Job Training (OJT). Using a phenomenological qualitative methodology, the study sought to uncover the intricate perceptions, emotions, and reflections of the students. Data was primarily gathered through comprehensive semi-structured interviews and was complemented by a review of reflective journals maintained during the OJT period. A purposive sampling approach was chosen, bringing together 25 participants aged between 20-23, ensuring a balanced representation across gender, nature of OJT establishment, and training duration. A thorough thematic analysis of the data highlighted key themes that emerged from the students' OJT experiences. The results offer valuable insights into the challenges and outcomes of OJT, serving as a resource for educators, industry partners, and upcoming hospitality students.

On The Job Training (OJT) merupakan tahapan akhir dalam seleksi rekrutmen pegawai di PT Ruang Talenta Optima. Dalam OJT, peserta diwajibkan melakukan presensi sehingga dapat dilakukan monitoring oleh mentor dan atasan. Namun, proses monitoring serta pengisian presensi peserta OJT masih menggunakan media spreadsheet sehingga menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan seperti presensi peserta OJT yang tidak akurat karena diisi secara manual dan tidak realtime. Form Monitoring juga masih dapat diakses oleh siapapun yang memiliki link ke spreadsheet sehingga data dapat diedit oleh siapapun. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perangkat lunak untuk melakukan monitoring serta presensi dalam OJT. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat perangkat lunak presensi berbasis mobile dan juga monitoring kehadiran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Progressive Web App (PWA) agar dapat diakses diberbagai operating system mobile serta Location Based Service (LBS) untuk menandai lokasi presensi. Metode Prototype digunakan dengan tujuan pengembang dan pengguna bisa saling berinteraksi selama proses pembuatan perangkat lunak, sehingga perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan user. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian perangkat lunak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan LBS ini dapat membantu dalam membuat presensi peserta OJT menjadi lebih akurat karena adanya pengecekan lokasi presensi, dan pemanfaatan PWA membantu dalam membuat perangkat lunak presensi dapat diakses di berbagai platform.

The purpose of this study is to describe how the use of OJT (On Job Training) as an English tour guide to improving students' speaking skills in Pang Pang Tanjung Pasir tour at Usaha Jasa Wisata of LKP ALOHA Tegaldlimo. It is hoped that OJT (On the Job Training) as an English tour guide can improve students' English speaking skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Instruments for collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher analyzed the data using descriptive qualitative research. From the results of the study, researchers found answers to research problems, including 1) OJT (On the Job Training) as a tour becomes an effective speaking teaching to be applied by LKP Aloha EDU teachers in the tourism service business class. Moreover, the ojt method could enhance speaking skills. 2) With OJT (On The Job Training) as a tour guide, students can practice working as a tour guide and find out the challenge that exists in the field of work.3) The problems faced during the OJT (On Job Training) process as a tour guide are students who sometimes have difficulty understanding the accent of conversations with native tourists, pronunciation, content, and vocabulary, which caused a lack of confidence in students.

Abstract:
On Job Training (OJT) is best for skill development and attitude change. Implementation of OJT which focuses on the transition of students to working life, however with little attention given to the process of assessment in OJT. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the OJT assessment problems among Construction Technology students in Malaysian Vocational College. The research design for this study uses a survey that was carried out qualitatively through semi-structured interviews among Construction Technology students, lecturers and experienced construction practitioners. From the data analysis, it has been identified that there is an inadequacy of OJT assessment rubric in assessing the skill and knowledge of the construction technology students. This has been contributed with the used of holistic rubric for the OJT assessment which has been designed to be use by every course in the Vocational College. The result also revealed that allocation of marks in the assessment rubric is not commensurate with some construct assessed and need to be reviewed. This study shows that an assessment rubric should emphasizes on specific knowledge and skills in assessing students’ competency during training program and in this case to produce competent site supervisor. In addition, a good assessment rubric should consider the tasks and marks thoroughly to avoid biasness among students. Therefore, it is suggested to carry out further study in investigating the validity and reliability of current industry’ OJT assessment rubric for the Construction Technology students.Key Words: On Job Training; Construction Technology; An assessment rubric; Competency; Validity and reliability.

Abstract:
This study combines a systematic instructional design approach and past research findings to examine the appropriate presentation of logging safety information, increase knowledge of logging safety risks on landing sites, identify hazardous situations on a landing site, and identify risk perception of logging hazards. Three experimental groups were those who: 1) received traditional on-the-job training (OJT) from their employer, 2) watched a video tutorial that was developed without systematic instructional design principles, and 3) completed a multimedia training tutorial developed using systematic instructional design principles. Mean test scores were analyzed. For knowledge retention of safety information the multimedia group scored significantly higher than OJT, but not significantly higher than the video group. The video group scored significantly higher than the OJT group. For ability to identify hazards, the multimedia group scored significantly higher than the OJT group, the video group did not score significantly higher than the OJT group, and the multimedia group did not score significantly higher than the video group. There was no significant difference between groups for level of risk perception.

Abstract:
One of the important inputs the school may consider in crafting their program curriculum is the performance of the students in the workplace, so the researcher aimed to determine the level of on-the-job training performance of the Bachelor in Hotel and Restaurant Service Technology students at Bohol Island State University – Candijay Campus, SY 2016 - 2017. Profile of each BHRST student in terms of age, gender, and OJT grade was sought as well as the level of performance of the BHRST students as perceived by the industry heads in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Problems encountered by the students and immediate heads were also identified. A descriptive-correlation method of research was utilized. Profile, OJT performance, and the problems encountered were gathered, processed, analyzed, and interpreted. The findings served as the basis for a proposed action plan. Fifty (50) second-year BHRST OJT students, the School Year 2015-2016, and fifty (50) immediate heads of the ten (10) partner hotels purposively took the study. This study was conducted in Bohol Island State University – Candijay Campus, Bohol Province. The instrument used in this study is a researcher-made questionnaire and employed frequency, percent, weighted mean, ranking, mean ranges, and chi-square as statistical tools to summarize, analyze, and interpret the data. Findings revealed that most of the OJT students were female and commonly in the age of 18-19 years old. The OJT grade ranges from 1.0 – 1.4 as the highest grade generated. The performances evaluated by the industry heads were very competent, which signifies that they excelled in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitude. Though very competent in their performance, there were encountered problems during their OJT as perceived by the industry heads, and among these were having a hard time working with colleagues, low communication skills, no self-confidence, and always late in attendance. Problems perceived by the students themselves were the following: they missed their families and friends, uncomfortable staff house/boarding house, hard time working and dealing with colleagues, and difficulties in the duration of training was encountered during OJT. Despite these problems encountered, OJT students still performed well in their training as perceived as very competent in terms of their knowledge, skills, and attitude. This denotes that the BHRST students of BISU Candijay Campus gained competence as prescribed by the industry standards. Thus, the adoption of the proposed action plan was recommended to strengthen the OJT program.

An OJT task proficiency assessment system was developed and tried out in the Air Force OJT environment. The Task Evaluation Form system includes development procedures which when applied to a specific task allow Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to generate evaluation instruments. The resulting instruments, called Task Evaluation Forms, accurately and completely depict the critical aspects of task performance. The Task Evaluation Forms can be used by OJT supervisors to detect errors in task performance and derive end scores and pass/fail decisions which reflect observed performance.

This study aims to experimentally confirm whether knowledge that has been challenging to transfer through traditional on-the-job training (OJT) can be effectively transferred by introducing a formalized OJT approach that describes the improvement process knowledge of skilled production systems consultants, facilitating imitation by unskilled consultants. We adopted the Digital Triplet (D3) concept, an extension of the authors’ digital twin framework to intelligent activities, aligning with our study objectives. Recognizing the difficulty and inadequacy of knowledge transfer in production systems consulting OJT, we propose an OJT support method integrating a decision-making modeling approach for skilled consultants’ processes based on the Generalized Production Systems Consulting Process Model (GCPM) from prior literature into traditional OJT methods involving self-learning and direct instruction. This method enables the construction of a domain-specific GCPM, formalizing the improvement process flow implemented by skilled consultants and linking it to production improvement expertise and tools. In a case study focused on energy-saving improvement, we constructed and tested a domain-specific GCPM’s efficacy in facilitating the transfer of difficult-to-transfer knowledge. The results indicate that domain-specific GCPM facilitates such knowledge transfer, including specialized improvement, knowledge utilization, rationale, and adaptation to specific cases.

Abstract:
At 4.0 era of industrial revolution, training’s role becomes more important for organizations because it will increase effectiveness and efficiency not only for individuals but for organizations. Many things affect performance, but the most important factor in improving performance is training. This study aims to evaluate On the Job Training design implementation at PT YXZ and see how the variables in the OJT design contribute to improving employee performance. Sampling technique method is probability random sampling with the Slovin formula according to the number of employees of each unit. The population in this study were all permanent employees with a total of 1,665. Samples were taken from various positions and tenure. The number of samples obtained was 323 employees. The results of the validity and reliability test are known that the Cronbach’s Alpha value of each indicator is above 0.9 so it can be said that all indicators have a very good level of reliability. The Pearson Product Moment correlation value is above 0.8 so that the measuring instrument is considered valid. Based on the results of the frequency distribution, it was found that according to OJT, 70.51% respondents had been implemented quite well. The results of the simultaneous regression test resulted in a Pvalue = 0.000 (P< 0.05) which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The value of how much influence the overall indicator on the effectiveness of OJT is displayed in the regression model as follows, OJT Factor Value = 2,422 + 0.015 (total value of OJT Implementation items). The results of this study prove that the design model in OJT have a significant influence in to performance.

Sampling jenuh merupakan teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif kausalitas. Metode dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan analisis data regresi berganda dan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui: pertama, semua variabel bebas meliputi on the job training (OJT), prestasi belajar, informasi tentang kerja, dan motivasi untuk kerja memiliki pengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa yaitu masing-masing ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4.43, 4.335, 3.34, dan 2.44 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1.97769. Kedua, adanya pengaruh secara simultan antara on the job training (OJT), prestasi belajar, informasi tentang kerja, dan motivasi untuk kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa yaitu ditunjukkan dengan Fhitung = 63.432 > Ftabel = 2,439246. The aim of this study is to evaluate the on-the-job training (OJT) performance of the automotive technology students for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 based on their appraisal ratings from partner industries. The evaluation focused on the students’ job knowledge, job attitude and interpersonal relationship as evaluated by their respective supervisors using the standardised appraisal instrument. Research objectives were achieved using the mixed method research design. It combines the quantitative approach and the documentary analysis. There were 74 student trainees involved in this study in which their respective supervisors served as the respondents. Achieving the research objectives was carried out by collecting data from their performance appraisal reports and subjecting them to statistical analysis. The findings revealed that the student trainees performed well in their OJT based on job knowledge, attitude and interpersonal relationship. The study concludes that their consistently good performance in their OJT reflects the kind of graduates they will be. The study is based on quantitative and positivists approach method of research. The descriptive and inferential methods used to analyse data and delivered in the method of explanatory notes. The research adopted Coates (2009) AQTF quality indicator and a random sampling method was selected. The research objective is to examine the impact of On-the-Job-Training (OJT) quality factors on TVET students&rsquo; satisfaction during work experience in Oman. A sample of 317 out of 400 participants from eight TVET institutes was conducted, descriptive and inferential tool used to determine the impact of OJT training quality on TVET students. The reliability test using alpha Cronbach&rsquo;s and Pearson correlations test indicated an acceptable level. In addition, three measurements of Goodness of fit were considered in the study. The study is only examining TVET students from the public sector which is under responsibility of the Ministry of Manpower, Oman. The research provides a platform for practitioners and authorities to discover the OJT training factors that effect on TVET students &rsquo;satisfaction. This paper provides upon the impact of OJT training quality on TVET students&#39; satisfaction in preparing for work competence in Oman. The work experience provides a good platform for TVET students to exercise and develop their work competences skills that would assist them to engage in the labour market. The TVET candidates are provided a work-related training to develop work competence in the country. There is a necessity to define whether the quality of OJT training has any positive impact towards TVET students or else.

This study looked into the students’ on-the-job training insights and experiences in the workplace. It attempted to identify the learning skills that the students gained in the workplace and determined how the workplace helped in developing the students’ learning skills. The study also determined the most important learning skill needed to be developed by the OJTs as identified by the agencies and to design a program for the internship based on the recommendations from the agencies. This qualitative research utilized data from the students’ narrative reports and journals every second semester from 2007-2009. An interview was conducted with the head of the office to verify and confirm the students’ reports. There was a total of 43 OJT students in 2007, 136 OJTs in 2008 and 122 OJTs in 2009. These OJTs were assigned to 10 agencies in Malaybalay City and the 13 municipalities of the province of Bukidnon.The findings revealed that the students had gained learnings from their on-the-job training which are categorized into (1) affective skills, (2) cognitive skills, and (3) psychomotor skills. This study showed that the workplace has helped develop the students’ skills through the programs and activities provided for them. Communication skills (Cognitive Skills) are found to be very important in the workplace. A mixed method design was used in this study to collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data within the same study. using a self-created survey questionnaire The findings:1.Zamboanguenos were the most common tribe among respondents, followed by Visayans and Tausugs, with the majority being females from middle-class families. 2. There were disparities in performance assessments between supervisors and students, particularly in terms of personality development. Supervisors rated the performance as moderate, while students thought it was excellent. 3. There is no significant difference in perceptions of the issues raised affecting work performance between the supervising agencies and the BSHRM OJT practicumers themselves. 4.There is no statistically significant relationship between BSHM OJT performance and the problems and issues raised by them, as perceived by practicumers and supervisors in general. The following suggestion would be beneficial to this study: This study should focus on Region IX SUCs, specifically Hospitality and Tourism Business, including Entrepreneurship programs, to determine if females are more likely to enroll. CMT professors should adapt the research to develop a Competency Enhancement Program that focuses on psycho-social dimensions of CMT-BSHM OJT practicumers' academic performance and workplace behavior. A regular stakeholders' forum on business and tourism programs and a benchmarking on best practices on the OJT deployment system can help bridge the gap between competency skills earned and industry-specific skills demanded.

This study aims to increase School Principals' Competence in Implementing School Development Plans (RPS) through the CLCK Guidance Model (Example, Exercise, Control, Independent Work) Based on Intensive Assistance for fourteen elementary schools' principals in East Seram District, Maluku Province. This study was built from the author's findings on school principals who implement RPS without AKPK (Professional Development Needs Analysis) but based on experiences from other schools in the vicinity. This research is a Best Practice that is carried out in 3 stages, namely OJT 1, IST, and OJT 2. After OJT 2 in the knowledge aspect, the average participant score is 83.78 with predicate B, the attitude aspect the average participant score is 86.66. with an A predicate, and the average score of participants in the skills aspect of 86.57 with an A predicate. This study's results indicate that the intensive mentoring-based CLCK guidance model (Example, Exercise, Control, Independent Work) can improve the ability of school principals in implementing RPS (School Development Plan).

The sample used was 203 teachers who taught in the TBSM industrial class in 19 East Java Vocational Educaion. Data collection in questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively and structural equation modeling. The results of the study show that (1) there is a significant contribution between teacher qualifications to industrial class learning activities; (2) there is a significant contribution between infrastructure facilities for industrial class learning activities; (3) there is a significant contribution between learning activities towards OJT industrial class students; (4) there is a significant contribution between learning activities on soft skills of industrial students; (5) there is a significant contribution between OJT on industrial soft skills of students in East Java Vocational Education.

Abstract:
This descriptive-correlational study was conducted to determine whether significant relationship exists between academic and on-the-job training (OJT) performances of seventy-five business administration marketing management major students of STI West Negros University for School Year 2018-2019. The academic performance was measured through the general weighted average (GWA) of students for all their subjects since their first year until the third year in the program. The OJT performance, on the other hand, was sourced out from the appraisal made by the host- company supervisors in the aspects of technical competence, attitude, quality of work, quantity of work, inter-personal relationship, and punctuality and attendance during the first semester of their last year in the program. The study revealed a humble rating of satisfactory in the academic of performance (GWA= 85.36, SD= 2.944) of the students but a very good rating in OJT (M=94.467, SD=4.5182). Subsequent results indicated that students performed very well during their OJT training, surpassing their own performance in school, and suggesting that the curriculum have prepared the students in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude for their meaningful immersion in the industry. The study also revealed no significant relationship between GWA in one hand and technical competence, quality of work and quantity of work on the other hand. As a final point, significant relationship was found in the areas of attitude (p=.012), inter-personal relationship (p=.029), and punctuality and attendance (p=.034).

The science curriculum in the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) program is a significant component of the academic requirement of the students and is believed to be vital for the development of skills and potentials of students. The objective of the study was to develop a science competency assessment tool for the OJT students of the CIT, Batangas State University, Batangas City, Philippines. The different science competencies were classified as technical, behavioral, communicative and managerial competencies. The descriptive method of research was utilized in this study with the questionnaire as the data gathering instrument. The data were analyzed and tested using weighted mean and T-test. The faculty and OJT students very strongly agreed that these science competencies were offered and developed in the department. The science competencies were developed in the objectives in Physics to a very great extent as assessed by both faculty and OJT students. Likewise, to a great extent, the science competencies were developed in the objectives in chemistry. With regards to the instructional strategies' science competencies were developed to a great extent. Based on the development of science competencies relative to the learning infrastructures, science competencies were developed to a very great extent as assessed by faculty, while the students' assessments revealed that they were developed to a great extent. Further, as to the evaluative measures, for faculty science competencies were developed to a very great extent, while student respondents revealed that to a great extent. It was recommended that the objectives of the science subjects, instructional strategies, learning the infrastructure, and evaluative measures must be made congruent with the competencies of the students; discussion of the relevance of science and other academic subjects in the regular conduct of the industry advisory committee meeting. Moreover, the proposed science competency assessment tool must be evaluated, and pilot tested before it can be administered to OJT students.

Berdasarkan hasil analisa terhadap kurikulum pendidikan IHS, didapati bahwa program-program pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di IHS dikembangkan berdasarkan situasi atau keadaan di mana peserta didik membutuhkan kerampilan berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris sebagai bagian dari tuntutan pekerjaan mereka. Oleh karena itu analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran (Need Analysis), yaitu tahap peserta didik mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran, menjadi tahap yang paling menentukan di dalam proses pengembangan bahan ajar. Purpose: This research is focused on examining the factors that influence transfer (effectiveness) of On-The-Job training at workplaces in Pakistan. The study identifies the factors that affect transfer of OJT training included independent variables such as motivation to learn, Perceived Organizational Support and Training Design and their impact on employees’ performance i.e. Transfer of Training. Methodology: The study adopted quantitative research and data was collected through well-structured questionnaire. The sample of 200 participants were selected throughout Pakistan using convenience sampling technique. Smart PLS software was used to analyse the data through descriptive statistics, structural equation modelling and Confirmatory factor analysis. Findings: The result revealed that there is a strong and significant impact of motivation to learn and training design on transfer of OJT training at workplaces in Pakistan. However, the results do not show any significant impact of Perceived Organizational Support in organizations on transfer of OJT training. Conclusions: This shows that even though, if the organization support is not present, the motivation to learn new things and to implement it to the workplace and effectively designed training programs can overcome the issues. Practical Implications: Organizations can use the result in favour of their organizational effectiveness, to consistently design effective training programs, and to consistently motivate their employees and to improve support and guidance by top management in the organizations.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penyiapan tenaga tata hidang mahsiswa D3 Perhotelan Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Mataram terhadap kualitas pelayanan di Hotel yang ada di Kota Mataram dengan studi kasus mahasiswa D3 Perhotelan yang sedang melakukan OJT. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, waswancara dan dokumentasi, dengan TKT yang diharapkan pada level 3. Analisis dari hasil pengumpulan data tersebut menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai hambatan kualitas pelayanan menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama, kualitas pelayanan, sikap dan perilaku, dan kondisi peralatan menunjukkan hasil cukup, kemudian untuk hasil tingkat komunikasi dan cara menyelesaikan complaint menunjukkan yang cukup baik. Dari sehingga, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan di Restoran di kota mataram terhadap mahasiswa yang sedang OJT, dilihat dari dua sisi konsumen dan staff, dapat dikatakan baik. Oleh karena itu, namun ada beberapa hal perlu dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pelayanan tersebut. The On the Job Training (OJT) program is a transition program for KV students into the job market, but the effectiveness of the implementation of this program is questionable. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the implementation of KV's OJT program in preparing students who meet the requirements of Industry 4.0 in KV North Zone. The design of this study uses a quantitative approach of survey techniques. This research instrument uses a Likert scale questionnaire. The KIPP Assessment Model introduced by Stufflbeam was used as a research tool. The study sample consisted of 118 students and 108 lecturers under the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Technology from the field of Industrial Machinery Technology (TPI) and were selected by stratified simple random sampling from 13 KVs. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient will be used to obtain reliability values for the questionnaire items conducted during the pilot study. Descriptive analysis ie percentage value, mean and standard deviation are used to report the findings of the study. While inferential statistics that is t-test is used to see the difference in effectiveness between genders. The results of the study are expected to be able to provide the necessary information to decision makers. The impact of the study can add value to the implementation of OJT in KV.

This study aims to analyze the effect of work ability and work operational time on cadet productivity and analyze the role of the on-the-job training (OJT) variable in mediating the independent variable on the dependent variable in the Airport Electrical Engineering Occupation at Politeknik Matra Udara. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. This research uses a quantitative approach, analyzes using Structural equation modeling (SEM), and uses the Smart-PLS statistical program. The research sample refers to the Isaac and Michael table using a 10% significance level. The sample of this study consisted of 115 cadets from various occupations in airport electrical engineering at the Air Matra Polytechnic who had participated in the on-the-job training (OJT) program. The results of the analysis show that work ability has a significant positive effect on cadet productivity. This shows that the higher a person's work ability, the higher his productivity. In addition, work-related operational time also has a positive effect on productivity. That is, the longer the working time owned by cadets, the higher the level of productivity. Furthermore, on-the-job training (OJT) proved to be a significant mediator in the relationship between work ability and work operational time and cadet productivity. This suggests that on-the-job training has an important role in improving productivity.

Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif evaluatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta program kemitraan guru SMK dengan DUDI tahun 2014 dan 2015. Sampel ditetapkan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling pada 120 peserta program. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) penerapan model AMOVIE terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan teacherpreneur dari unsur karya inovatif pembelajaran; pengembangan diri, memperoleh penghasilan tambahan dari produksi barang dan jasa; (2) implementasi model AMOVIE mendapat dukungan izin, dana dan bimbingan selama OJT; dan (3) hambatan untuk menjadi teacherpreneurantara lain kurang motivasi pribadi (23,3%); kurang menguasai IPTEK modern (30%); kualitas (78,3%) dan kuantitas (52,05%) sarana dan prasarana untuk praktikum di SMK masih kurang dan beban kerja administrasi sekolah berlebihan (62,5%).Kata kunci: AMT, OJT, visual exhibition, teacherpreuneur EFFECTIVENESS OF AMOVIE MODEL FOR IMPROVING TEACHERPRENEUR CAPABILITYAbstractThe research aims to: (1) determine the effectiveness of the AMOVIE model in enhancing the teacherpreneur capability (2) analyze the support for AMOVIE model implementation; and (3) identify the obstacles to be teacherpreneur. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniqques. The results showed: (1) the implementation of the AMOVIE model was effective to improve the teacherpreneur ability in the aspects of inovative work of learning, continuing professional development (CPD), earning extra income from the production of goods and services; (2) the implementation of the AMOVIE model gets support for: permits, funding and guidance for OJT; and (3) the obstacles to be teacherpreneur are: lack of personal motivation (23.3%); not mastering modern science and technology (30%); quality (78.3%) and quantity (52.05%) insufficient facilities and infrastructure in vocational schools, and excessive workload of school administration (62.5%).Keywords: AMT, OJT, Visual exhibition, teacherpreuneur

Embarking on a comprehensive exploration, this study delves into the captivating realm of On-Job Training (OJT) and its profound impact on student learning within the context of the 6th cohort of the Diploma in Materials and Procurement Management program at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College in Dewathang. Although many claimed that such supervised training within a particular time frame (45 days) carried out either in the private sector or in government organizations provides skills, knowledge and experience, however, no prior study has been conducted by the college so far to assess its impacts. To assess the impact of On-Job Training (OJT) on the acquisition of practical skills, knowledge, and competencies among students in the 6th cohorts with a specific focus on their ability to apply theoretical concepts in real-world work environments is the main objective of the study. The purposive sampling method was used as the method of the research. This study used one set of questionnaires to discover supervisor’s perspectives of different organizations and student’s perspective. A total population size of 43 questionnaires (29 students and 14 workplace supervisors) were issued and all were returned. The data were analyzed using a Relative Index of Importance (RII) which provides a descriptive interpretation of the most important variables in this research. It was observed from the view of the organization that such training improved the student’s skills in formal and informal communication, help to find a research area for their projects, ability to socialize, and sustained the relationship. In the view of the students, It has been observed that the training improved the students’ confidence in tackling problems and provides the need for continuous learning. Also, observed that inadequate duration and insufficient stipend were the major concerns students expressed during their internship. It has been concluded that industrial experience gained from the OJT help to improve the student’s ability and knowledge gained which can provide the basis for a successful career after graduation from college. It was recommended that OJT should be seen as a tool to improve students’ abilities.

This study comparatively examines the relative effectiveness and frequency of use of modern and conventional training methods, as much rhetoric has surrounded the use of techniques like distance learning and computer-based training methods. The responses from 200 employees suggest that no significant difference exists with respect to frequency of use, but a significant difference exists in terms of effectiveness. The result shows that on-the-job training (OJT) methods are widely used and are perceived as the most effective method, whereas distance learning is not widely used because it is perceived as less effective. This study also reveals that a significant difference exists between modern training methods and conventional training methods in terms of attaining training objectives. OJT is given the highest rating for attaining training objectives.

Background/Aims: Dementia cafés are becoming widespread as a new approach to dementia care, but their operational procedures and significance have not been adequately studied. Methods: On-the-job training (OJT) for professionals planning to operate a dementia café in the future was conducted in a pioneering dementia café in Japan. The reports of OJT trainees’ observations and learning were analyzed qualitatively. Results: Reports could be summarized in up to 9 themes: 2 related to the atmosphere and significance of the café, 3 related to the guests, such as people with dementia and their families, and 4 related to the café staff. Discussion: The results of the present study identified the elements that make up dementia cafés and their significance and suggest that dementia cafés could be a new type of community resource for dementia care in the future.

Abstract:
Introduction: Diencephalic storm is characterized by extreme episodic catecholamine release in the presence of a stressor and it is usually refractory to standard antihypertensives. The treatment of choice during the crisis is propofol and the best preventative measure is to remove the stressor (i.e. ventilator). Case presentation: A 32-year-old male sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burn to 25 percent of the body surface area that included a severe inhalation component. The patient was admitted to the Burn Intensive Care Unit at the Arnold Luterman Regional Burn Center in Mobile, AL. The patient had frequent episodes (3-5 per day) of severe agitation that were accompanied by extreme tachycardia of > 200 beats per minute and hypertension (280/140). The inciting event was often endotracheal suctioning, but less noxious stimulation also resulted in similar episodes. During these episodes, the patient had significantly elevated catecholamine levels that improved after extubation. The patient’s symptoms were refractor to standard antihypertensives but immediately resolved when given propofol. Further episodes of the diencephalic storm were treated successfully with propofol. Once the patient was removed from mechanical ventilation, there were no further episodes. Conclusion: Diencephalic Storm may be difficult to diagnose due to a lack of familiarity with this rare entity. Any patient with severe agitation combined with the effects of episodic large catecholamine surges should be considered to have Diencephalic Storm. The standard immediate treatment is propofol due to the lack of responsiveness of standard antihypertensives and the removal of the stressor.
