The professional duties of civil aviation pilots in airlines involve prolonged periods of sedentary behavior in the cockpit and at airports. Lack of physical activity is a common source of work-related stress, and furthermore, low levels of physical activity are associated with daytime sleepiness and fatigue in pilots, which can have a negative impact on flight safety. The article focuses on professional-applied physical training of civil aviation pilots.
