We have observed the variation of the magnetic saturation, and Curie temperature (TC) in samples of the poly(3-hexylthiophene) doped with ClO-4 isostatically pressed. We attribute this behaviorto the continuous variation of the interchain interaction induced by different pressures used during the sample preparation. We believe that the pressure induces an increase in exchange interaction interchains because of the reduction of the distance interchain, contributing to the increase in the ferromagnetic behavior observed in the samples.

Abstract:
The effects of polarons on the stability of ferromagnetic state in doped quasi-one-dimensional non-conjugated organic ferromagnets are investigated. It is shown that spin density wave of doped main chain near the polaron appears amplitude distortion which changes the stability of the ferromagnetic state. If the spins of polarons along the main chain are contrary to those of side radicals' electrons, the stability of the ferromagnetic state will be strengthened. Under the opposite condition, the stability will be weakened.

The polaron formation due to the strong interaction of electrons with the optical phonons in a layered manganese oxides is considered. The diffusion of nearly localized polarons in the presence of the spin-dependent and multiple scattering on the randomly oriented and/or distributed magnetic moments of atoms is considered. The spin diffusion coefficient in the case of the exchange interaction between the diffusive but nearly localized polarons is evaluated. It is shown that the polaron localization leads to the vanishing of the spin diffusion and hence the ferromagnetic phase transition. The s

Nano-dimensional effects on electronic-, magneto-transport properties of granular ferromagnetic insulating (FMI) Pr0.8Sr0.2MnO3 (PSMO) manganite (down to 40 nm) have been investigated in details. From the electronic and magnetic transport properties, a metallic state has been observed in grain size modulation by suppressing the ferromagnetic insulating state of PSMO bulk system. A distinct metal-insulator transition (MIT) temperature around 150 K has been observed in all nanometric samples. The observed insulator to metallic transition with size reduction can be explained with surface polaron

We review our recent x-ray and neutron scattering studies that reveal static diffuse scattering due to polarons in the paramagnetic phase of the colossal magnetoresistive manganites La 2-2x Sr 1+2x Mn 2 O 7, with x=0.40 and 0.44. We show that the polarons exhibit short-range incommensurate correlations that grow with decreasing temperature, but disappear abruptly at the combined ferromagnetic and metal-insulator transition in the x=0.40 system because of the sudden charge delocalization, while persisting at low temperature in the antiferromagnetic x=0.44 system. We discuss possible models for describing the metal-insulator phase transition coupled with paramagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transition in manganites. We argue that current models have apparent drawbacks. As a way to explain experiments we introduce the magnetic (large) polaron model. In this model, the conductivity appears as a result of percolative overlapping of magnetic polarons which coexist with small (Jahn-Teller) polarons. We compare this model with the experimental data.

The design, reductive doping, and magnetic characterization of poly-meta-phenylenefuchsone, an improved model for one-dimensional polaronic ferromagnetism, are described. Previous work demonstrated that delocalized radical cations, when linked through appropriate topologies, can exhibit ferromagnetic, or high spin interactions between unpaired electron spins. Consideration of these examples led to the choice of the radical anion of 2,6-di-tert-butylfuchsone as a spin containing unit, due to its relative stability, solubility, spin density, and ease of generation. Itinerant ferromagnetism describes systems comprising microscopic magnetic moments which are not localized in space but are instead mobile. This concept was introduced back in the thirties by the British theoretical physicist Edmund Clifton Stoner, who first devised a minimal model to describe a ferromagnetic instability in a homogeneous Fermi gas driven by short-range repulsive interactions: in a free electron gas, the competition be- tween the kinetic energy, given by the Pauli pressure, and the interaction energy, given by the screened Coulomb potential, drives a paramagnetic to ferromagnet

For advancement in future spintronics, the diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMSs) might be understood for their origin of ferromagnetic aptness. For this, we have included a review study for the doping of transition metal and rare earth ions in ZnO. It is realized that the antiferromagnetic ordering is found in doped ZnO to achieve high-TC ferromagnetism.
