Abstract:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has inspired various scholars to write about his life, character, teachings and contributions to humanity. He is the only man in the whole world whose life, character, teachings and utterances have been completely recorded. Western writers also studied the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Their study of the prophet has generally been motivated by hostile criticism and religious and historical prejudice of the west. Robert Spencer is also included in the list of such critics of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He is an American author who is very famous for his criticism of Islam, Qur’ān and Prophet of Islam. He has published fifteen books so far. Along with other aspects he criticizes sources of the Sirah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This research evaluates the objections raised by Robert Spencer on the Qur’ān and Hadith as sources of Sirah. It, rejecting Spencer’s objections, proves that Qur’ān and Hadith are the most authentic and reliable sources of Sirah and provide a lot of authentic information about the personality, deeds and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

There are two aspects in the personality of the Prophet Muhammad: revelation and culture. Both of them developped the character and the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad as a mere human being as well as a prophet. It is difficult sometimes to differentiate between these two entities. However, the failure to distinguish the two, this article argues, will mythologize the life of the Prophet and then finally sacralize him. Abstract:
Sirah Nabawiyyah has an important position in the viewpoint of Indonesian Muslim scholars, unfortunately specific works of the Prophet biography are rarely found in Indonesia. As a well-known interpreter of the Qur'an, M. Quraish Shihab has a historiographical work entitled Membaca Sirah Nabi Muhammad Saw dalam Sorotan al-Qur’an dan Hadis-Hadis Shahih that discusses critically about the figure of the Prophet. This library research with historical method analyzes the background of writing, sources of writing, and historical explanations contained in his work. Finally it was concluded that the book was written in accordance with the need of Indonesian Muslims to discuss the history of the Prophet Muhammad critically. The references consist of the Qur'an, the Prophet traditions, the books of Sirah Nabawiyyah, and other relevant books. Because it was written by a commentator of the Qur'an, the verses of the Qur'an are not only quoted with textual translations, but are accompanied by in-depth explanations so that its historical explanations are almost similar to interpretations of the Qur'an. It is able to explain in detail the life of the Prophet with critical analysis and illustrative pictures. In addition, its explanations greatly emphasize the humanity of the Holy Prophet. Therefore this work is not excessive in displaying the Prophet miracles or extraordinary things.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to contextualize the various inspirational stories of the Prophet Muhammad summarized in the Sirah Nabawiyah. The exploration of inspired stories will place more emphasis on the period before prophetic revelation, so as to minimize the reasons for mankind's inability to make Muhammad a role model and an inspirational figure. The contextualization of thought in sirah nabawiyah was carried out using the hermeneutic approach as a method in the tradition of Paul Ricoeur's thought. Hermeneutics in the Paul Ricoeur tradition tries to go beyond modern interpretation which seeks to find an understanding of the meaning between the interpreter and the writer. Therefore, it is possible to produce new meanings of sirah nabawiyah accompanied by a subjective reflection process that is linked to the contextual background. This article generates contextualization and new meanings of the inspirational story of the prophet Muhammad in Sirah Nabawiyah to become eighteen values ​​of character education based on national culture. These character values ​​will be embedded in every level of Indonesian national education.

Studying the sirah (biography of Prophet Muhammad) in today’s world is more than a mere exploration into past events, but a three dimensional and timeless study that is as relevant today as it was previously and will continue to be. Integrating the fields of social psychology and cognitive historiography, this article questions whether Prophet Muhammad ‘civilised’ a ‘savage’ society by critiquing the loaded language implicit in the question. This article instead offers that Prophet Muhammad’s leadership style was consistent with psychological theories of transformational leadership and not one that was imperialistic nor used the language present in colonialism that divided people into ‘civilised’ and ‘savage.’

Al-Shafaa Bint Awf is a very noble follower of the prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) , but the sources give scant materials about her in comparison with the male followers or some females like Khadija and Aisha and other Prophet's glorious wives. Al-Shaffa was the mother of one of the earliest follower of the prophet , although her link with the prophet and the Sirah is back to much earlier date; Her family was connected with both families of Abd-Allah and Amina ( the parents of Muhammad). There are reports talking about her attendance of Muhammad's (PBUH) birth. She enjoyed very close ties with Muhammad and his family, and became one of the first believers in Islam. She also emigrated to the Medina and lived there with the company of her son Abd Al-Rahman. Lastly, there is a third aspect in the biography of Al-shaffa that was her death which is connected with an important Sunnah, that was Al-Itaka or ransoming of the dyed peoples by freeing slaves and giving money in charity of them.

Abstract:
The early Muslim historians and hadith experts recoded the Sirah (life and biography of the Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him-) literature in their historical annals, and hadith collections. The Sirah-writings was gradually developed as an independent field of inquiry in which the writers employed other sources such as the Quran, exegeses, hermeneutics, Arabic poetry, geography and even theology for Sirah understanding. However, it has been observed that the central position of history and hadith compendiums in Sirah-writings remained intact till the advent of Modern period in which a great change has been witnessed both in methods and styles of Sirah-writings to respond the western critique of Sirah-writings and to present the holy life of the Prophet as a model for humankind. Therefore, they attempted to revisit the sources with reversionistic approaches and a variety of methods and styles were devised for systematic Sirah-writing. The present study aims to explore the objective of the newly emerged trend of the Quranic based Sirah-writings. A meticulous effort has been made to identify the objectives of this genre. A plethora of literature has been composed to construct an authentic biography of the Prophet grounding on the Quran as its prime source. However, those who follow this trend are clearly categorized into two distinctive groups, those who reject the historical and Prophetic traditions altogether and those who employ the traditions for better understanding of the Quranic text regarding the life of the Prophet. An illustrative case study of the Quranic Sirah-wrings has been conducted to identify the nature, objectives of the subject and how various approaches have been espoused by the leading experts of the field.

Abstract: The study of Sirah Nabawiyyah is very important to take detailed knowledge of Muhammad’s life with all its aspects. Kelengkapan Tarikh Nabi Muhammad written by KH Moenawar Chalil is one of Indonesian Muslims’ works focused on Sirah Nabawiyyah. This library research emphasizes on Kelengkapan Tarikh Nabi Muhammad (that was first published in 1936) as its primary source. This paper purposively aims to analyse the biographical characteristic of Kelengkapan Tarikh Nabi Muhammad relating to its historical sources and explanation of historical events related to the life of the prophet Muhammad. Finally, it concludes that Moenawar Chalil successfully applied the historical method in writing the complete history of the life of the Prophet Muhammad. He used reliable historical sources, such as the Qur’an, prophetic traditions, exegetical works, and Islamic historical books. He made historical explanations based on standard historiographic rules. He paid attention to the historical questions of historiography (namely: who, what, why, where, when, and how) to explain Sirah Nabawiyyah thoroughly and then accentuated the essence of events with spirit of Islam. Penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan karya itu sebagai data primer berikut ini menganalisis karakteristik historiografis Sirah Nabawiyyah berkaitan dengan sumber-sumber sejarahnya dan eksplanasinya terhadap peristiwa-peristiwa historis kehidupan Nabi Muhammad saw. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa KH Moenawar Chalil berhasil menerapkan metode historis dalam karyanya dan merujuk kepada sumber-sumber historis kredibel, yakni al-Qur’an, hadis Nabi saw, serta buku-buku tafsir dan sejarah Islam. Abstract:
Efforts in preserving the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) obligate the hadith scholars to filter narrations attributed to the Prophet (PBUH), including those on his biography. These efforts have given birth to a methodology used to criticise the narrations since the days of the companions. However, applying the methodology to narrations pertaining to the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) or the sīrah has been a challenging task given the multitude of narrations that do not meet the criteria of acceptance by the muḥaddithun that infiltrate the knowledge of sīrah. Thus, this paper aims to scrutinise the methods of criticising hadiths employed by hadith scholars and the application of these methods on the works on sīrah. A qualitative study was conducted by collecting data from the major works on hadiths and sīrah. The finding demonstrates that the muḥaddithun’s critiques of the sīrah narrations are based on the critiques on sanad and matan. In applying the method, it is imperative to be murunah. This is done by placing each narration at its correct position by prioritising authentic and ḥasan hadiths, in addition to being tasahul on the permissible aspects based on the prescribed discipline.

Abstract:
The position of sirah or the study of the history of the prophet Muhammad SAW has an important position in the Islamic religious tradition where it ranks second after the study of hadith or sunnah. Thus, this article aims to describe how the study of the nabawiyah sirah was carried out by the two main retainers of its writing, especially seeing how the process and the relationship between these two sirah works from a historical perspective. This article itself was written with a qualitative descriptive approach supported by data collection methods in the form of literature study. From the results of the review, it is known that Ibn Ishaq's sirah is the first work that is able to systematically review the life story of the prophet, although there are still many shortcomings and finally it was perfected by Ibn Hisham with his sirah work. Both Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham, both have important contributions in writing the book Sirah Nabawiyah. Ibn Ishaq with the quality of his book narration is strong enough to make his work an important reference in the study of the nabawiyah sirah.

Purpose This study is one of the first to address the types of tourism in contemporary standing in relation to the travel chronicle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Consequently, this paper aims to identify the similarities between contemporary types of tourism and the premodern travelogue of Muhammad. Not many studies have been conducted relating to Islam, Muhammad and tourism. Design/methodology/approach Muhammad’s travel chronicle was reviewed through a content analysis of the Qu’ran, Hadith and Sirah. A literature review on contemporary types of tourism was conducted to synchronise the use of terminology from Muhammad’s premodern travels and contemporary types of tourism. Findings It is clear that the experiences being narrated in contemporary tourism were also experienced during Muhammad’s time, using different terminology but with similar connotations. Originality/value This study is one of the first to address the similarities between Muhammad’s premodern travelling and contemporary types of tourism. It is clear that several types of tourism that exist today were actually experienced and practiced by Muhammad.

How the Prophet Muhammad managed the conflicts challanged his revealing massage is the main issue disscussed in this paper. Of course the conflict trigered by the brutal rejection of unbelievers to thethe Prophet teachings. Nevertheless, it didn’t mean that the conflicts was never come from the follower of the prophet at all. While the conflict rising from the followers threatened the segregetion and uncorfortable communication among them, the conflicts rising from the unbelivers cause the fatal condition even the war break. As The Prophet, Muhammad respond the conflict in all cost. But the special one is his ways, his manner to deal with such conflict. He never gave up to motivate his follower to keep alert, he never fail in hopeless in all nightmare condition he faced. His strategy to conduct the conflict, minimally, devided into two: 1)unapproachable integrity dealing with the belief, 2)flexible decission dealing with the socio-political bussiness. Let’s see the former in the case of ritual negosition offered by Quraish unbelievers to the Prophet then the later to the Hudaibiyah compropmy. This paper based on the reading on work of Ibnu Hisham: Sirah Nabawi and work of Ibnu Kathir: Sira Rasul. The both works are translated into English. So the explanation of this paper based on these work either in Arabic or in English.

Abstract: This article describe the conflict resolution carried out by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Mecca-Medina War. The Mecca-Medina War itself was a war that took place between Mecca Quraysh against the Muslims in the early period of Islamic history. This war took the largest portion of the conflict that occurred throughout Muhammad's prophetic history. The research method used in this study was historical research. The results of this study are expected to contribute ideas in conflict resolution by relying on the history of the Prophet (PBUH). The results of the study indicate that dialogue, migration, peace agreements, ceasefire and amnesty are conflict resolutions carried out by the Prophet (PBUH) in the Mecca-Medina War. The Prophet (PBUH) ended the war against the Quraysh of Mecca by diminishing casualties and narrowing the space for war. In the modern context which radicalism in the name of religion has caused many conflicts, this sirah nabawiyah-based conflict resolution method is quite relevant to be applied in resolving theological-based conflicts in the Muslim World globally.الملخص: سوف تصف المقالة التالية حل النزاع الذي قام به النبي محمد (ص) في حرب مكة المكرمة. كانت حرب مكة-المدينة بحد ذاتها حرباً بين مكة قريش ضد المسلمين في الفترة المبكرة من التاريخ الإسلامي. أخذت هذه الحرب الجزء الأكبر من الصراع الذي حدث طوال تاريخ النبي محمد. طريقة البحث المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة هي طريقة البحث التاريخي مع نهج علم الحرب. من المتوقع أن تسهم نتائج هذه الدراسة بأفكار في حل النزاع بالاعتماد على تاريخ الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم). تشير نتائج الدراسة إلى أن الحوار والهجرة واتفاقيات السلام ووقف إطلاق النار والعفو هي قرارات صراع يقوم بها النبي (ص) في حرب مكة المكرمة. مع حل النزاع هذا ، أنهى الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم الحرب ضد قريش مكة من خلال التقليل من الخسائر وتضييق مساحة الحرب. في السياق الحديث حيث تسبب التطرف باسم الدين في الكثير من الصراعات ، فإن طريقة حل النزاع القائمة على نبراية السرايا ذات صلة بالغة لتطبيقها في حل الصراعات القائمة على أسس لاهوتية في العالم الإسلامي وعلى الصعيد الدولي Abstrak: Artikel berikut ini akan menguraikan mengenai resolusi konflik yang dijalankan Nabi Muhammad Saw. dalam Perang Mekah-Madinah. Perang Mekah-Madinah sendiri adalah perang yang berlangsung antara Quraisy Mekah melawan Kaum Muslimin pada periode awal sejarah Islam. Perang ini mengambil porsi terbesar dalam konflik yang terjadi sepanjang sejarah kenabian Muhammad Saw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah dengan pendekatan ilmu perang. Hasil dari kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi sumbangan pemikiran dalam resolusi konflik dengan bersandar pada sejarah Nabi Saw. sendiri. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dialog, hijrah, perjanjian-perjanjian damai, gencatan senjata dan amnesti adalah resolusi konflik yang dijalankan Nabi Saw. dalam Perang Mekah-Madinah. Dengan resolusi konflik tersebut, Nabi Saw. mengakhiri perang melawan Quraisy Mekah dengan meminimalisir korban dan mempersempit ruang cakup perang. Dalam konteks modern dimana radikalisme atas nama agama telah menyebabkan terjadinya banyak konflik, metode resolusi konflik berbasis sirah nabawiyah ini cukup relevan untuk diaplikasikan dalam menyelesaikan konflik berbasis teologi didalam Dunia Muslim maupun dunia internasional.

The book of “Muhammad: His Life Based on Earliest Sources” was written by Martin Lings, who after converting to Islam got the name Abu Bakar Sirajuddin. Since it was first published in 1983, this book has received many awards and has been translated into 10 languages. This book discusses the biography of the Prophet Muhammad and uses classical sources that are so authoritative from the 2nd century D / 8 M and 3 D / 9 M. This research aims to find out the life history and work of Martin Lings, the contents of the book Muhammad His Life based on the Earliest Sources, and their historiographic analysis. The method used is a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics (collection of sources), criticism (selection of sources), interpretation (interpretation of data), and historiography (writing of history). Based on research that has been done, it is known that Martin Lings came from England and in 1938 he converted to Islam. He died in 2005 in England. Muhammad's book: His Life Based on Earliest Sources, written by Martin Lings, first published in 1983. This book is divided into 85 parts which can be collected into 4 groups, namely before the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, the life of the Prophet Muhammad in Mecca, the life of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina and Islamic themes. In it, Lings selects the source he uses so he only chooses the earliest source. The style of writing Muhammad His Life's book based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings is a type of Sirah included in the biographical tradition in Muslim historiography. The uniqueness that is contained in this book is; the author is a convert to Islam and Sufi, uses authentic sources, written in literary language, and combines socio-cultural analysis with the reading of scriptures and hadith, and also includes stories of miracles.

Sirah materials have been deemed by modern scholars as a hybrid literature, a combination of biography, prophetology and hagiography. The authors of the sirah record the Prophet’s significance with admiration and clear devotion; but there is very little evidence of his early life and the narratives are recorded with reverence. In the Quran itself, there is little evidence of Prophet Muḥammad’s early biography, with scarcely any details before the receiving of his first revelations around the age of forty. Even with the infrequency of its references, this condition cause no hinder to a Muslim. A complete biography of the Prophet’s life was produced completely equipped with its references from the Quran. The present study aims to explore the development of emerging number of Quranic verses that used as references for the narratives of the Prophet’s early life in sirah literature. It also seeks to analyze the nature of relationship between sirah and the Quran. The present study deals solely with texts. In order to attain the objectives of the research, textual analysis will be employed as a major tool in examining and exploring the sources The study in its findings argue that Quranization of the sirah account in the rationalist atmosphere of the ninth century drove some authors to refer to the Quran as a supportive mechanism, to strengthen and provide a solid ground for what they were saying about Prophet Muhammad.

The results showed that among the forms of Moroccan people's attention to the sirah of the Prophet Muhammad especially the book of al-Syamā'il al-Muḥammadiyyah is the number of syurūḥ (explanations) of the Moroccans to the book of al-Syamā'il al-Muḥammadiyyah as evidence of their attention to the book. The book of al-Syamā'il al-Muḥammadiyyah by al-Tirmiżī is one of the most important references to get to know the figure of the Prophet because it has contained everything related to his character, character and physical. Al-Tirmiżī strongly maintains the validity of the hadith and is committed to the validity of the hadith he narrates

The life of Prophet Muhammad/ Sirah Rasullullah, SAW, (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is one of the written works of scholars to be featured as having played a major role in developing da'wah and Islamic Shari'ahs around the world from the past. The bond between Moslems and the prophet is strong so the Moslems can use sirah as a reference to strengthen faith, morals, foster the struggle of Islam and encourage the Muslim to hold on to the truth. This study will highlight the role of the sirah in strengthening the social aspect of society and this will be seen based on the views of Sheikh Ramadan al-Buti. Content analysis is used to analyze Fiqh as-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah. The data was analysed descriptively and explanatory. The findings show that the need for a sirah approach in the social aspect is high for the good of social aspect itself. However, Syeikh Ramadan al-Buti has opened the opportunity so that the aspects of the sirah is applied to the social change of the Islamic society from time to time. The implications of the study show that the Prophet's sirah/life has succeeded in forming a good Islamic Government over the history of Western civilization. Sirah Rasulullah SAW merupakan salah satu karya penulisan ulama perlu diketengahkan kerana telah memainkan peranan yang besar dalam mengembangkan dakwah dan syariat Islam diseluruh dunia sejak dahulu lagi. Mempelajari sirah Nabi ini bukanlah semata-mata untuk mengetahui peristiwa menarik dan aneh yang berlaku di zaman Nabi SAW.Pengkajian sirah ini juga bukan sekadar ingin mengetahui peristiwa-peristiwa yang telah melakar sejarah sebagaimana kajian-kajian sejarah yang lain sebagai contoh sejarah hidup seorang khalifah atau sejarah tamadun yang silam. Sirah juga bukanlah sekadar satu kisah yang dibaca pada hari keputeraan baginda SAW sahaja. Apa yang lebih besar sebenarnya adalah ikatan seseorang Muslim dengan Rasulnya sehinggakan pada akhirnya Muslim itu berjaya menjadikan sirah sebagai sesuatu yang dapat menambahkan iman, memperelok akhlak, menyemarakkan perjuangan Islam serta dapat mendorong Muslim itu untuk terus berpegang dengan kebenaran dan seterusnya istiqamah kepadanya. Kajian ini akan mengetengahkan peranan sirah dalam mengukuhkan aspek sosial masyarakat dan perkara ini akan dilihat berdasarkan kepada pandangan Syeikh Ramadan al-Buti. Kaedah analisis kandungan akan digunakan dalam mengkaji kitab Fiqh as-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah bagi mendapatkan data. Data tersebut akan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan eksplanatori. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa keperluan pendekatan sirah dalam aspek sosial adalah tinggi bagi membentuk aspek sosial yang baik itu sendiri. Walau bagaimanapun, Syeikh Ramadan al-Buti telah membuka ruang sepenuhnya supaya aspek sirah diaplikasikan kedalam perubahan sosial masyarakat islam dari masa ke semasa. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa sirah Rasulullah telah berjaya membentuk satu Kerajaan Islam yang baik berbanding sejarah tamadun Barat yang musnah ekoran tiada sisa-sisa kemanusiaan yang dihidupkan.

The household of the Prophet is an example that needs to be imitated by every Moslem; how he always tried to be just and wise as a husband in dealing with daily domestic problems. This paper aims to look at the household problems faced by the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his method in solving these problems, by referring to the traditions of the Prophet SAW (hadith). This research is a descriptive-qualitative with reference to library resources, both in the form of the Prophet's sirah and hadiths, taken from primary hadith compilation, books, scientific journals and other relevant library sources. Domestic turmoil is common in every household, even with the Messenger of God, starting from the jealousy between wives, the prosecution of material rights, to the accusations of adultery that befell Sayyidah 'Aisyah and Mariah Al-Qibtiyyah. As any other husband, there were so many household problems faced by the Prophet, yet he managed to find the best solution based on the conditions and situations. To resolve these problems, the Prophet confronted them with the method of smiling, teasing, reminding, and being patient, but also firm and did not hesitate to separate his wife for a while.

Further, even though the devices are easily to apply as learning media, they have not been a priority for Muslims in improving their knowledge, such as Sirah Shahabiyah (the journey of a female companion of the Prophet Muhammad). Due to the community’s little interests in learning Sirah Shahabiyah, it is necessary to create a learning application that allows the user and the community to easily learn it. The methods used to collect the data of this research are field study, literature review and previous literature review. The system is developed using a prototype system development method consisting of the stages of planning, analysis, design and implementation and is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The result of this research is a learning application in the form of android-based Sirah Shahabiyah, by which the user and the community can easily learn Sirah Sahabiyah, facilitating pleasant and effective learning activities.

This article analyses the educational thought of Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi (d. 1999 A.D.). The study aimed to determine the concept of the Sirah education curriculum at the junior high school level, according to Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi. This type of research is categorized as library research, with data obtained from Al-Nadwi's books relating to Sirah and education in particular such as Al-Tarîq ilâ al-Madînah; Sîrah Khâtim al-Nabiyîn li al-Atfâl; Al-Sîrah Al-Nabawiyyah; Muslims in the West, Message, and Mission. The methods used in this study are descriptive research, qualitative research, and basic research. Based on the study results, two main thoughts about Sirah's education were found. First, the continuity of Sirah Education is essential, which means that Sirah education is taught for all generations. Furthermore, Sirah education means integrating Sirah education in subjects, especially religious aspects. The author's findings on the concept of the Sirah education curriculum at the junior high school level, according to Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi, are a set of objectives, programs, processes, and evaluations of Sirah education up to the junior high school level that can be given from class VII to grade IX junior high school. With the existence of Sirah Education, which aims to make the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam an example for junior high school students, it is hoped that it can shape the Islamic personality of students at the junior high school level and give birth to Akhlaq al Karimah based on Tawhid.

Sirah writing is such a marvelous and comprehensive subject upon which a number of writers have worked. In sub-continent (Indo-Pak) a large number of scholars served hard for the evaluation and presentation of Islam. As it is obvious that western powers have ruled this region for almost one hundred years, so their civilization and thoughts have left profound impact upon the natives. Some intellectuals among Muslims were deeply impressed by western thoughts and they tried to co-relate the both school of thoughts. Such scholars strived to adjudge Sirah on western parameters of rationalism. They would deny the incidents which have no rationale. They started to argue in such a way that was contrary to the predecessor Sirah writers. The founding fathers of this traditions were Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Molvi Chiragh Ali. Regarding the polygamy, and miracles of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). They presented such logics which were basically influenced by the western philosophy. This tendency continued gradually until Professor Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Ghulam Ahmad Pervez and Jaffer Shah Phulwarvi. So in Sub-continent a new diction of Sirah writing emerged which based upon purely on self-made rationalism instead of following the traditional method of Sirah writing.

The emergence of a new tarikat that is based on some tarikat is not new and can be accepted. Surely, he formed a new tarikat called Sammaniyah that have many followers until now. Of his teachings in the tarikat, there are some rules that discussed about relationship between the Murshid or sheikh with a pupil. The concept about it is similar to the relationship between the Prophet with his companions or with some of his followers. From Sirah Nabawiyah, it can be concluded how the Companions of the Messenger had spoken and vice versa as well as he, the Prophet., treats his companions. Actually, this condition applies to every tarikat anywhere.

One of controversial conclusions of the orientalists’ study on the hadis is that the authenticity of the hadis is actually not as high as the Muslims believed so far, because none of the traditions of the Prophet is truly authentic from the Prophet, especially the tradition re­lating to fiqh. The conclusion was in turn confirmed that it is very dif­ficult to trust the hadis literature as a whole as an authentic record of all the sayings and practices of Prophet Muhammad. The conclusion has thus aroused reactions from the Muslim researchers, among others, a leading researcher on hadis, Muhammad Mustafa Azami. Azamifound that doubts expressed by the orientalists in the system of sanad are due to the their methodological errors in studying on sanad material studies, that is because they generally did not examine the chain of transmis­sion based on the hadis main books, but on the books of fiqh and sirah wich were prepared in different way from the hadis book. Azami refu­ted the conclusions of the Orientalists and proved the authenticity of the hadis in several ways, included comparing the hadis from many students’ collections with their teachers’collections of hadis, comparing the state­ments of the scholars from different times, comparing with the of written documents, and comparing the hadis with verses of the Koran related.

The notion of mi’râj (the heavenly journey of Prophet Muhammad) is an important non-homogenic topic, although it is not often handled in Ibadi intellectual, sīrah (biography of the Prophet) and exegetical traditions. In this article, we analyse the treatment of the subject chronologically in the Ibadi tradition. We discuss the Ibadis’ main concerns on the subject, how they differ, what inferences they make from the related verses, sīrah, hadith and exegetical (tafsir) reports, and most importantly whether they accept the notion of mi’râj. This article analyses the notion of isrâ because of its close relationship to mi’râj. In summary, there are variations on the issue of mi’râj among the North African and Omani Ibadis. Even more interesting is the existence of significant nuances among the Omani Ibadis. In short, while all North African Ibadis accept mi’raj as an event, it is observed that some Omani Ibadis accept it, while others sometimes reject it for religious and sometimes rational grounds.

The contents of the da'wah message in this rubric are the goal to be analysed by the author through the da'wah message delivered in creed, morals and sharia.<strong> </strong>Based on the statement above, the question arises: a. What are the da'wah messages shown in the Depok oasis rubric? What preaching message is more dominant in the Depok post oasis rubric?<strong> </strong>In this study, the authors used a content analysis method, using a qualitative approach. By analysing each paragraph, then put into several subcategories and examine the contents of the message contained therein. Of the 11 propaganda messages in the Depok Post Oase Rubric sample dated January 9, 2019, to May 27, 2019, all received propaganda messages that can not be separated from the message of Aqidah, Morals, and Sharia. In the form of an invitation, the researcher can conclude that the Oase news on Depok Pos contains messages of preaching in invitations, warnings and Sirah Nabawiyyah (Story of the Prophet). The more dominant among the three messages of preaching is the message of preaching Sharia, where there are five pages of preaching (news) and 48 paragraphs in it<em>.</em></p><p><em></em><strong>Abs</strong><strong>trak</strong></p><p>Rubrik Oase adalah rubrik yang berisi tulisan-tulisan tentang hikmah kisah Nabi Muhammad SAW (Sirah Nabawiyah), Sahabat Nabi, dan sejenisnya. Selain itu, Rubrik Oase juga memuat pengetahuan tentang agama mulai dari masalah kehidupan dan pandangan hidup Islami yang dikaji dalam bentuk tulisan untuk menarik minat pembaca dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Isi pesan dakwah dalam rubrik ini menjadi tujuan yang ingin dianalisis penulis melalui pesan dakwah yang disampaikan dalam kategori akidah, akhlak dan syariah. Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas, timbul pertanyaan: a. Apa saja pesan dakwah yang disampaikan dalam rubrik oasis depok? Pesan dakwah apa yang lebih dominan dalam rubrik depok post oasis? Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode analisis isi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan menganalisis setiap paragraf kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam beberapa sub kategori dan menganalisis isi pesan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dari 11 pesan dakwah dalam sampel Rubrik Oase Depok Post tanggal 9 Januari 2019 sampai dengan 27 Mei 2019 semuanya mendapatkan pesan dakwah yang tidak lepas dari pesan Aqidah, Akhlak, dan Syariah. Dalam bentuk ajakan, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa berita Oase di Depok Pos mengandung pesan dakwah berupa ajakan, peringatan dan Sirah Nabawiyyah. Yang lebih dominan diantara ketiga pesan dakwah tersebut adalah pesan dakwah Syariah dimana terdapat 5 halaman dakwah (berita), dan memuat 48 paragraf didalamnya.</p>

Specifically, the methodical determination of the previous his experienced has moved soon of orientation from the critical to the descriptive while facing of four books, namely: Tafsir al Hadith, 'Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bi'tsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Qur'an, and ad Dustur al Qur'an fi Su'uni al Hayat works of thinkers and historians. From his reading, he at least analyzes his views into two important parts, namely; 1) the interpretation method of nuzuli and the ideal concept it contains, 2) it then draws it into the realm of pre-Islamic, personal and family life of the prophet Muhammad, to the condition of the people of prophetic era through the perspective of nuzuli Izzat Darwazah exegesis. According to the reviewer, there are other research elements in writing the work of the exegesis, namely some models of research methods of interpretation at once, such as: comparative research, character research, and thematic-nuzuli research. Whereas although placed more as an overview of nuzuli interpretation, at least he invites readers, especially in Indonesia to re-read the tafsir nuzuli treasury and see which is as worthy to be developed in the turats of Islam Nusantara. Abstrak Tulisan ini hendak menelusuri aspek metodologi penelitian tafsir yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Aksin Wijaya terkait metode nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. Untuk itu, fokus dari pembahasan ini adalah tentang metodologi penelitiannya dalam buku berjudul Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah untuk mengetahui bagaimana orang mengkaji mufassir. Ilorin Emirate of Nigeria has been known for its propagation of Arabic and Islamic culture which enhanced it a pride of place, especially by the people whose cities and villages were colonized by Ilorin for Islam or those whom it thought the Islamic values and jurisdiction. These facts were literarily documented by ‘Abdul ‘Aziz Muhammad Salman al-Yaqutiyy’s Arabic autobiography entitled “The Tears of Hope”. This article will research into the afore-stated facts based on the teachings of the Qur’an, Prophet Muhammad’s tradition and jurists’ verdicts. Indeed, the Islamism of the autobiography confirmed the Ilorin Emirate’s Islamic way of life, inculcated in its citizens and being observed to have had impact on the writer’s work. The methodology is both historical and descriptive. The historical method was used in shedding the light on the Islamism of Ilorin Emirate culture, then documenting the writer’s biography. The descriptive approach was used in the discourse analysis of the work’s ideational features on the Ilorin Emirate culture Islamism.

Untuk tujuan itu, data dihimpun dari kitab-kitab Sirah Nabawiyah sebagai sumber utama dan dianalisis sehingga tergambar relasi-konflik tokoh-tokoh dari kedua suku tersebut dan penyelesaiannya. Hasil kajian menemukan, konflik antara suku Quraish dengan </em><em>bani Mustaliq dapat dilacak sejak nenek moyang</em><em> mereka masing-masing, sebelum kenabian Muhammad. Issu pokok terjadinya konflik berkenaan dengan persoalan politik kekuasaan, harga diri dan identitas kelompok. The purpose of education is a component that we must know and understand in life. This has been discussed by scholars, including Imam al-Ghazali. For this reason, this study discusses the goals of Islamic education according to al-Ghazali from the perspective of Hadith. This research is a library research, namely research that uses data sources from library searches in the form of books and articles, namely the books of Hadith and their syarah, as well as the Nabawiyah sirah. The approach used is, by using qualitative data analysis methods. While the data collection technique in this study is a documentation technique, namely by collecting hadiths related to the theme, using several key words. The result of this research is that the purpose of education according to Al-Ghazali emphasizes religious and moral education. According to him, the meaning and purpose of Islamic education is education that seeks and aims in the process of forming a complete human being. As for making a curriculum, Al Ghazali has two tendencies, namely a tendency towards religion and a pragmatic tendency. As for the material aspects of Islamic education according to Al Ghazali's thoughts include: faith, morals, reason, social and physical education. The purpose of education according to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad is to create humans who have noble character, to create humans who have a balanced life between the world and the hereafter, to create people who are useful and efficient for themselves, their families, communities and nations and even benefit the world. who are trustworthy and responsible, Realizing humans who are integrated with the progress of the world without leaving the noble values ​​contained in Islamic morals. According to him, a good teacher, apart from being intelligent and perfect in mind, must also have commendable qualities. The characteristics that must be possessed by a student are humility, purify oneself from all evil, obey and istiqamah. Meanwhile, the evaluation of education is all forms of activities related to their respective responsibilities in the educational process. Abstract:
Basically, functional aspect in masjid can easily understand that there are divergence phenomena between the present masjid compared to the physical appearance and function of the Prophet's Masjid in the beginning. The objective of study is to reveals the existence of the Prophet's Masjid regarding the process and physical description of the masjid through hadith, sirah nabawiyah and related references as a guideline for comparative thinking on the present masjid. Critical descriptive research method is used as an analytical instrument to assess present masjid by adopting the idea of function in architecture knowledge and collaborate with the idea of social values as a reflection of the paradigm of Muslims towards the present masjid. Abstract:
This study aims to determine how the views of Islamic law on environmental conservation. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with library research. The results of the study indicate that efforts to preserve the environment from the beginning were carried out and called for by the Prophet Muhammad. In the Qur'an and several hadiths, the Messenger of Allah. explain how important it is to protect the environment, as explained that the Prophet forbade cutting down sidrah trees. The understanding of the hadith is that environmental preservation with the reforestation method is a form of safeguarding and realizing Islamic law. Likewise, his calls for reviving dead soil, forbidding the cutting of trees indiscriminately, forbidding littering in any place, and a number of appeals concerning the maintenance and preservation of the environment. Therefore, if there are humans who do damage or damage the environment, then he is considered to have violated Islamic law. Efforts to build environmental awareness should be carried out through education, coaching and inculcating the values of Islamic teachings sourced from the arguments of the Qur'an and Hadith. Then efforts to build awareness of environmental sustainability must also be carried out continuously so as to form character for each individual which in turn forms intrinsic awareness for each individual in addressing environmental problems.

Abstract:
Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas is the mufassir companion of the Holy Prophet (صلی الله علیه وسلم). He is hibr al ummah(scholar of Ummah), specially he was a great scholar of tafseer al Quran. The Holy Prophet (S.A.S) prayed for him in this regard. Moreover, he had keen interest in seeking knowledge. He gave many fatwas in the presence of the companions of the Holy Prophet (صلی الله علیه وسلم) although he was younger than the most of the companions. He was a prominent figure in the narration of Hadiths. One thousand six hundred and sixty hadiths are narrated by Hazrat Ibn e Abbas. Majority of the people gained knowledge from Ibn e Abbas R.A. for more than half century because he died in 69 hijrah. Tafseer ibn e Abbas is attributed to Ibn Abbas. All the unauthentic asnaad of this tafseer are discussed in this article. These asnaad are analyzed in the light of jarh o tadeel principle. Opinion about rejection is given after the analytical study and research. All the riwayaat narrated by Ibn e Abbas are not authentic. Some of those are authentic, some of those are unauthentic and many others are home-made(rough). Un-authentic riwayaat which are narrated by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas in exegetical literature have seven famous chains. Chain of Abu Salih: Abu Salih neither met Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas nor heard anything from him. Worst situation of this chain is the narrator of Muhammad Bin Saib Kalbi from Abu Salih and from Abu Salih Atiyyah and Hibban bin Ali. This chain is the chain of liars. Chain of Dhahak Bin Muzahim : Dhahak Bin Muzahim never saw any companion of the Prophet صلی الله علیه وسلم .He did not hear anything from Hazrat Ibn e Abbas. The people who narrated from Dhahak Bin Muzahim are liar and un-reliable as Juwaibar Bin Saeed, Muqatil Bin Sulaiman and Huzail Bin Habib. Chain of Ata Khurasani: He neither met Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas nor heard anything from Hazrat Ibn e Abbas. He never met any companion of the Holy Prophet صلی الله علیه وسلم. Chain of Ismail Suddi Kabeer: He narrated Tafseer from from Abu Salih. Although he narrated a few Riwayaat by sound chain but he mixed up the sound and un-sound Hadiths. It is impossible to separate the Sahih and Dhaeef. Chain of Ibn-e- Juraij from Ata: He narrated from Ata Bin Ribah(Siqah) and Ata Khurasani(Dhaeef).We should be careful in this intermixed situation. Chain of Ata bin Dinar from Saeed bin Jubair. Ata never anything from Saeed bin Jubair. This broken chain cannot be accepted. Chain of Ibrahim bin Hakam Adani: He narrated . He narrated from his father and his father narrated from Ikrama. He often narrated the tafseer of Ikrama as the tafseer of Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas. These are only seven un- sound chains of the tafseer of Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas. In the light of this research we come to know that tafseer Tanvir- al- Miqbaas has no any connection with Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas. During the research we also came to know that the scholars of Hadith tried their best in the research of riwayaat to separate the unsound traditions from the real source of Islamic Sharia

The household of the Prophet is an example that needs to be imitated by every moslem. How he always tries to be just and wise as a husband in dealing with daily domestic problems. This paper aims to look at the household problems faced by the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his method in solving these problems, by referring to the traditions of the Prophet SAW (hadith). This research is a descriptive-qualitative with reference to library resources, both in the form of the Prophet's sirah and traditions, taken from primary hadith compilation, books, scientific journals and other relevant library sources. Domestic turmoil is common in every household, even with the Messenger of God. Starting from jealousy between wives, prosecution of material rights, to the accusations of adultery that befell Sayyidah 'Aisyah and Mariah Al-Qibtiyyah. As any other husband, there were so many household problems faced by the Prophet, yet he managed to find the best solution based on the conditions and situations. To resolve these problems, the Prophet confronted them with the method of smiling, teasing, reminding, and being patient, but also firm and did not hesitate to separate his wife for a while.

Kajian merumuskan bahawa kualiti peribadi berpandukan agama adalah amat penting membangunkan dan merealisasikan keusahawanan asnaf yang berjaya. Asnaf entrepreneurs can be classified as poor and needy asnaf who are exposed to skills and inclinations in the field of entrepreneurship. The capital assistance received by zakat institutions enables them to engage in business, at the same time aiming them later to transform into producers of zakat. Thus, this article discusses the aspects that can be emulated by asnaf entrepreneurs based on the historical journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a successful trader. The study concludes that religiously-guided personal qualities are very important in developing and realizing successful asnaf entrepreneurship.

Reciting Barzanji is a tradition that has long practiced among Muslim community, and performed in special ceremony or occasion. Even though the books known as Barzanji, in fact the origin title is ‘Iqd al-Jawahir (the strands of jewels), as the Prophet himself. Barzanji refer to the author Syekh Ja’far ibn Hasan ibn Abdul Karim ibn Muhammad al-Barzanji (1690 -1763 M) a sufi scholar, whose born in Madinah and relate to Barzan (Kurdistan) tribe. Based on the content, the author of barzanji present Islamic knowledge regarding with the life of Prophet (sirah). In Aceh, particularly in Julok distric East Aceh, the famous hand book of barzanji called Majmu’ah Maulud Syaraf al-Anam. That book written and recited in arabic, and that must be an issue wheather local people understand or not toward the content. Therefore this article obtain to figure out the barzanji tradition toward people knowledge of religious understanding effectivenessly. This research apply field research method, which is observation and interview used as the tool for collecting the data. From observation and interview find out reciting barzanji tradition in Julok district, East Aceh that practised by local people is not in line with their understanding of Islamic knowledge. Whereas the tradition for them as a ceremony, entertainment, gathering and hospitality.

The Holy Quran Says:“Indeed in (the life of) the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow” (Al-Ahzab: 33/21). The present article shows that “the good example” of the Prophet (SAW) encompasses different aspects of human life including family and social one. The article brings to light that as a guardian of the household; the Prophet (SAW) sincerely looked after the daily needs of his family members and also took full care of guiding them in religious matters. He was habitual of doing his own works and sharing the burden of his family in domestic works. He gave preference to the needy among the companions (particularly Ashab-i- Suffah) over his family members in giving assistance for meeting the day-today requirements. With regard to the social life of the Prophet (SAW), the article discusses in detail that with multifarious duties, how he used to fulfill his social responsibilities regularly and faithfully. The author mainly emphasizes the active participation of the Prophet (SAW) in the collective works with his companions, strictly adhering to the principle of equality and desiring no distinction for himself while doing works. The article further takes into account the ideal practices of the Prophet (SAW) with regard to attending to the needs of poor, distressed and grieved persons without any discrimination between Muslims and non-Muslims. It also comes to light that the Prophet (SAW) was quite generous towards guests and sympathetic to patients including Muslims and non-Muslims. His mingling and associating with common people and attending to their problems of varied nature was also a striking feature of his social life. Moreover, it was also shown in the article with reference to the authentic sources, that the Prophet (SAW) was great helpful and cooperative particularly for the people of the weaker sections of society including slaves, servants, orphans, widows and disabled persons. In the light of the noble practices of the Prophet (SAW), this was highlighted by the contributor in the different parts of the article that he had left ideal examples of gentleness, justice, equality and transparency in dealing with people in social life and discharging his duties as the Prophet and head of the state. In fact, the total conformity (mutabaqat) between his sayings and practices was a shining example of his high character which had left a great and lasting impact on the society through ages and also contributed to make him the greatest personality of the world. It was observed by the author in the conclusion that the life of the Prophet (SAW) has been ideal from every aspect of human life. His Uswah-i- Mubarakah regarding social life has great importance from the point of view that it is mostly related to the fulfillment of human rights, particularly behaving and dealing with the people different shades. Of course, taking care and fulfillment of human rights is full of difficult trials and complicated problems especially in the present days. So, the Sirah of the Prophet (SAW) is quite relevant to tackle the problems of social life, as well as great useful for bringing reform in the decaying society of modern period.

In the Arabic language the word sīra or sīrat (Arabic: سيرة‎) comes from the verb sāra (Present tense: yasīru), which means to travel or to be on a journey.A person’s sīra is that person’s journey through life, or biography, encompassing their birth, events in their life, manners and characteristics, and their death. In modern usage it may also refer to a person's resume. It is sometimes written as "seera", "sirah" or "sirat", all meaning "life" or "journey". In Islamic literature, the plural form, siyar, could also refer to the rules of war and dealing with non-Muslims. In Islam, Al-sīra al-Nabawiyya (Prophetic biography). Sīrat Rasūl Allāh (Life of the Messenger of Allah) or Seerah are the traditional Muslim biographies of Muhammad from which, in addition to the Quran and trustable Hadiths, most historical information about his life and the early period of Islam is derived. This article attempts to briefly review the Seerah Writing in Balochistan. Especially the Introduction and services of those People who have performed the service of Seerah Writing has also been provided.
