If we speak about language, we know that it has four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. But many students are not competent for all skill, although these skills relate to each other. For example, the student could not speak Arabic only by listening and vice versa, as well as the skill of the book and reading, and could not dictate the ability to read. In this research, the researcher focused on teaching speech skills in terms of the problems faced by students at the university stage, especially in the Department of Arabic Language Education. ABSTRACTBackground: Workforce shortages to meet the mental health needs of the world's aging population are well documented. Within the field of professional geropsychology in the U.S.A., a national conference was convened in 2006 to delineate competencies for psychological practice with older adults and a training model for the field. The conference produced the Pikes Peak Model of Geropsychology Training. The Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs (CoPGTP) aimed to produce a competency evaluation tool to help individuals define training needs for and evaluate progress in de

Driver education providers may utilise technologies such as driving simulators to augment their existing courses. Understanding the perceptions that young drivers and parents have of simulators may help to make simulator-based driver education more accepted and more likely to be effective. Young drivers and parents completed an online questionnaire that included a “simulator invention” visualisation task. Items based on the Goals for Driver Education framework investigated perceptions of the most appropriate skill type, while others examined the most suitable target group for simulator trainin

Prisoners display significantly higher rates of mental disorders and lower mental wellbeing than the general population. The integration of positive psychological interventions in offender supervision has received recent advocacy. The aim of the current pre-post pilot study was to determine the short-term effects of group-based resilience training on mental health outcomes for female offenders and explore intervention acceptability. Abstract:
Since antiquity, hunting (the pursuit of large game with dogs, swords, spears and bows) has been advocated as the best means of training men for war. The cognitive, psychological and physical demands of hunting in this fashion develop a fundamentally different skill set from that of standard modern Western Martial Arts training. Still legal in the United States, hunting wild boar employing medieval weapons and methods provides insights into swordsmanship readily available nowhere else.

The article reveals the pragmatic aspect of the psychological training of future music teachers and reveals its specificity. This specificity lies in the fact that knowledge and skills from the field of psychology in the professional activity of a music teacher should ensure the comprehension of the emotional-figurative content of a musical work, and not familiarization with it as an object of study, as it happens in the development of other educational disciplines. The role of psychological knowledge for solving many other tasks solved in the process of musical education, carried out both in

The demand for innovative learning methods is dictated not only by the speed of changes and updates of the knowledge system, but also by the enormous growth of data. The need to navigate the vast and dynamically changing field of information requires more sophisticated skills of working with it. Reading is still one of the main ways of gaining knowledge. Improving the reading skill allows not only to work with text information faster and more efficiently, but also to qualitatively change the intellectual abilities of a person by means of speed reading.
