Abstract:
The effect of cobalt acetic acid on the indicators of cicatricial digestion and protein metabolism in bulls aged 3-6 months was studied. The replacement of cobalt sulphate with cobalt acetic acid in the compound feed did not have a significant effect on the processes of scar digestion. All indicators were within the limits of physiological norms. The animals of the experimental group showed a tendency to decrease the ammonia content in the scar fluid by 4.2%.
