The primary objective of this study is to facilitate the conversion of inorganic selenium (Se) into organic Se within plants via assimilation, subsequently feeding it to livestock and poultry to enhance healthy animal production and yield Se-enriched livestock and poultry products. Therefore, it is imperative to first investigate the impact of varying Se doses on the agronomic traits of plants as well as their forage storage and processing. This experiment investigated the effect of Se fertilizer application on the fermentation quality, chemical composition, and bacterial community of Penniset

Introduction. The ever-growing world population and protein deficiency increase the demand for products of animal origin, especially fish-based. However, canned foods and fillets, which are the most popular types of fish products, are made from medium-sized and large fish. In spite of the fact that undersized fish is cheap, it requires manual processing and remains so time and labour consuming that it is utilized for non-food purposes. The research objective was to develop a new technology for processing undersized sea fish into minced ready-to-eat products.

In this paper, the cause of corrosion of aluminium products in sea water is proposed. Corrosion is caused by incomplete oxidation of aluminum cells on the surface of products. Incomplete oxidation of aluminium cells occurs due to lack of energy in oxygen molecules. It is shown a significant decrease in the rate of the chemical reaction for the treated aluminium foil interacted with iodine in alcohol solution. The foil was in contact with oxygen he

Abstract:
Additive manufacturing (AM), also known as “3D printing,” is often touted as a sustainable technology, especially for metal components, since it produces either net or near-net shapes versus traditionally machined pieces from larger mill products. While traditional machining from mill products is often the case in aerospace, most of the metal parts used in the world are made from flat-rolled metal and are quite efficient in utilization. Additionally, some aspects of the AM value chain are often not accounted for when determining sustainability. Unsettled Issues in Additive Manufacturing and Im

Abstract:
We have used spatiotemporal Bayesian methods to produce statistically rigorous estimates of sea-level trends in the Mediterranean Sea since 1960 by combining tide gauge and satellite altimetry data. Furthermore, we have also quantified the contributions from sterodynamic sea-level change, land-mass changes and glacial isostatic adjustment to the trends.

Abstract:
Working farm lands and specialty crop farms are an important and dominate part of Wisconsin’s Driftless region providing a multitude of agricultural products and jobs. One of the many challenges facing the specialty crop producers in this region and throughout the US is climate change. Brix Cider of Barneveld, WI participated in the Adaptation Workbook* 5-step process to see if there are ways for their operation to become more resilient in a changing climate.

Executive Summary This report describes a series of experiments carried out by PRICE Lab, a research programme at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) jointly funded by the Central Bank of Ireland, the Commission for Energy Regulation, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the Commission for Communications Regulation. The experiments were conducted with samples of Irish consumers aged 18-70 years and were designed to answer the following general research question: At what point do products become too complex for consumers to choose accurately between the good ones
