While traditional single-marker methods using graphical markers such as ArUco offer simple implementation, their performance is susceptible to environmental variations and measurement errors. To address these limitations, we propose a robust pose estimation algorithm that leverages multiple markers simultaneously. This study presents a description of the language-specific spatial marker fram, which has a frontal orientation, and how it is translated into English based on data from the English-Swedish Parallel Corpus. Frontal orientation is systematically encoded in English in descriptions of stative location in expressions such as in front of the house. However, English lacks any clear correspondence to the dynamic spatial marker fram in Swedish both at the structural and at the semantic level. Structurally fram is used both as a free word and in many compounds and derived words to an extent that has no

Abstract Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) is a rare and usually incurable aggressive sarcoma subtype. All malignant cells harbor a pathognomonic EWSR1::WT1 fusion protein (FP). However, FP-targeted agents are nonexistent; less than 20% of patients survive beyond five years. The spatial organization of DSRCT, consisting of tumor nests surrounded by desmoplastic stroma, is a hallmark of this disease. Given this context, we seek to understand the spatial heterogeneity within DSRCT and the tumor-stroma interactions to reveal potential therapeutic vulnerabilities. We generated a 20-panel

The spatial information is obtained by an enhanced Marker-based Hierarchical Segmentation (MHS) algorithm. The hyperspectral data is first fed into the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) neural network classification algorithm. Then, the MHS algorithm is applied in order to increase the accuracy of less-accurately classified land-cover types. Abstract Pancreatic Cancer Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the deadliest cancers with 5-year survival of 11%. Understanding the intratumor heterogeneity is a pivotal piece to unravel the complexity of PDAC. While single cell RNASeq identifies the heterogeneous cell populations within the tumor tissue, spatially characterizing the transcriptomic profile of neoplastic and pre-neoplastic populations within the tissue remains a challenge, as the spatial dimension is usually lost upon tissue dissociation. We identified an approach to integrate spatial transcriptomics data with single cell RN

Abstract Background: Understanding breast cancer progression and the relationships among biomarkers in the tumor and tumor microenvironment could go beyond established prognostic markers of breast cancer. Poor response and recurrence may indeed be a consequence of the highly heterogeneous spatial distribution of biomarkers within cancers, and/or the synergistic and antagonistic relationship between co-localized biomarkers. Recently, mechanical and physical microenvironmental signatures have emerged as relevant in determining cancer aggressiveness and invasiveness. This suggests that physical s

Recently, emerging data have suggested that spatial navigation and neuroimaging could be utilized to identify individuals with prodromal AD. Compared to episodic memory, spatial navigation has fewer cultural and educational discrepancies and could serve as a promising marker for diagnosis and outcome measures in multicenter longitudinal studies with large cohorts. To tackle this challenge, we began by identifying TLS markers through bioinformatics analysis and machine learning techniques.
