In this paper, the problem of anti-disturbance control is studied for non-linear systems with stochastic multiple disturbances. The multiple disturbances include two types: one is the stochastic harmonic disturbance and the other non-harmonic noise generated by a linear stochastic exogenous system. An adaptive stochastic disturbance observer (ASDO) is constructed to estimate both the two aforementioned disturbances. Combining the disturbance estimation with a conventional state feedback control law, a composite anti-disturbance control scheme is constructed such that the closed-loop system is

Power system stability is greatly affected by two types of stochastic or random disturbances: (1) topological and (2) parametric. The topological stochastic disturbances due to line faults caused by a series of lightning strikes (associated with circuit breaker, C.B., opening, and auto-reclosing) are modeled in this paper as continuous-time Markov jumps. Additionally, the stochastic parameter changes e.g., the line reactance, are influenced by the phase separation, which in turn depends on the stochastic wind speed. This is modeled as a stochastic disturbance. In this manuscript, the impact of

Abstract Since non-stationary disturbances are common in practical situation due to the varying stochastic disturbance or some deterministic disturbance injected, the traditional algorithm based on FCOR is not valid anymore. This paper develop a new approach, which combines EMD method with FCOR algorithm, to handle this problem such that the minimum variance (MV) performance of the closed-loop system can be monitored online. In the presence of varying stochastic disturbance and step/sine disturbance, the numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

These modes can be regarded as the transient responses of the power system to excitation, which are generally characterised as decaying sinusoids. For a power system operating ideally these
