Nowadays, security plays a big role, notably in homes, companies, and banks. This article uses embedded systems to design a bank locker security system. The Global System for Mobile (GSM) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies are the foundation of this system. Only honest people are permitted to retrieve money or gold from bank lockers. It is created by fusing RFID and GSM technologies, allowing for real-time activation, authentication, and validation of the user and door unlocking for safe access to bank lockers. This paper studies from an empirical and theoretical perspective the systemic and bank-level effects of imposing reserve requirements (RR) in foreign currency in an economy with a heavily dollarized financial system. The paper empirically characterizes banks responses to the RR carried out by the Peruvian Central Bank since 2008 with the objective of stabilizing the financial market and meeting its policy targets. The results suggest that the RR is effective in reducing the overall level of credit in the economy and that banks response in terms of credit and deposits is very heterogeneous depe

Abstract:
Riverbank erosion is a natural process that occurs as rivers adjust to disturbance events and to changes in water and sediment delivery over time. The resulting lateral movement of river channels is fundamental to building complex, dynamic, and resilient landscapes. In this sense, bank erosion is crucial to creating healthy rivers and should be preserved whenever possible. However, river managers may deem protection from bank erosion necessary if bank retreat threatens infrastructure, developed land, or other valuable natural and cultural resources. Abstract:
Developing countries are driving the emergence of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) – digital versions of sovereign currencies issued by central banks. While CBDCs can potentially improve financial inclusion, improve payment systems, and increase tax collection in lower-income countries, they are also associated with a complex combination of operational and security risks. This research sheds light on the tax implications of CBDCs, including the potential risks and benefits of their implementation. It outlines some of their key features and considers challenges common to revenue authorit
