It is proposed to use frequency dividers as active reflector tags in a frequency-modulated continuous wave indoor localisation system in order to reduce interferences caused by direct reflections of the interrogating signal. This part of the thesis is focused on the passive back-scatter UHF tags and the advantages of their application in supply chain usage. This paper examines the effects of a unilateral reform of the redistribution policy in an economy open to international trade. We set up a general equilibrium trade model with heterogeneous agents allowing for country asymmetries. We show that under international trade compared to autarky, a unilateral tax increase leads to a less pronounced decline in aggregate real income in the reforming country, while income inequality is reduced to a larger extent for sufficiently small initial tax rates. Why do we pay tax? If an individual is acting in self-interest, it makes sense to avoid, or evade, as much tax as possible. Rather than exploring why people don't pay tax, this research looks at the reasons why people do pay tax, and asks whether a socio-contractual rights and responsibilities model of citizenship can help explain the tax compliance decision.
