The dynamic seal mechanism of hydrodynamic reciprocating sealing is discussed. TRIZ S-Field model and standard solutions is proposed. The reliability and effectivity S-Field models of hydrodynamic reciprocating sealing are constructed according to typical hydrodynamic reciprocating sealing configuration shapes, such as O-ring sealing, Y-ring sealing and polymer sealing. The leakage and failure problems solutions of hydrodynamic reciprocating sealing as well as their configuration realization are studied based on TRIZ S-Field analysis and standard solutions, which offer powerful theoretic guide

Women have progressed a lot in terms of social empowerment and economics. They are going for higher education, jobs, and many other similar endeavors, but harassment cases have also been on the rise. So, women’s safety is a big concern nowadays, especially in developing countries. Many previous studies and attempts were made to create a feasible safety solution for women. Out of various features to ensure women’s safety in critical situations, location tracking is a very common and key feature in most previously proposed solutions. This study found mechanisms of sending the locatio

Interpreting technologies have abruptly entered the profession in recent years. However, technology still remains a relatively marginal topic of academic debate, although interest in developing tailor-made solutions for interpreters has risen sharply. This paper presents the VIP system, one of the research outputs of the homonymous project VIP - Voice-text Integrated system for interPreters, and its continuation (VIP II). More specifically, a technology-based terminology workflow for simultaneous interpretation is presented.

Introduction: Domestic violence is a threat to human dignity and public health. Mounting evidence shows that domestic violence erodes personal and public health, spawning issues such as lifelong mental health challenges. To further compound the situation, COVID-19 and societies’ poor response to the pandemic have not only worsened the domestic violence crisis but also disrupted mental health services for domestic violence victims. While technology-based health solutions can overcome physical constraints posed by the pandemic and offer timely support to address domestic violence victims’ mental
