This study examines the dynamic interaction between housing prices, stock prices and the repo rate in the Stockholm region by using the Johansen tests for cointegration. Several studies have been done on this topic, but the results are mixed across the world, and not many have been done in Scandinavia. This study contributes to the literature by examining eleven years of monthly data for the housing prices in the Stockholm region. We compare a single-item, first-price auction with two equivalent treatments with allotment: a two-unit discriminatory auction and two simultaneous single-unit first-price auctions. This paper studies the effects of auction mechanisms on the average price of auction results of Shanghai car license plate from 2004 to 2018. We construct two linear regression models and find that an iterated multi-unit auction has a lower efficiency than a seal-bid discriminatory multi-unit auction. We also find that the pre-set price-ceiling is positively correlated with the average winning price. These results suggest that the government can potentially manipulate auction results through the design of the auction mechanism, and through the setting of warning price as a price ceiling.

Three groups of participants were exposed to different unit price sequences. Unit prices for all groups ranged from unit price 1 to 21. Analyses of demand curves, response rates, session duration, and elasticity coefficients suggest that the sequence of exposure to unit prices can affect the elasticity of demand. In addition, the size of unit price contrast, direction of unit price change, and proximity to experimental milestones also may affect the consumption of monetary reinforcers.

Abstract:
A cobrança pelo uso da água é um instrumento de gestão de recursos hídricos previsto na Lei 9433/97, dentre outros objetivos, para incentivar o uso racional da água. Porém, os estudos e simulações feitos tratam a cobrança apenas como instrumento de arrecadação. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de propor preços unitários para a água com base na necessidade de redução da demanda futura na bacia do Tietê-Jacaré. Para isso, apoia-se em cenários de demanda e oferta hídricas para os anos de 2010, 2025 e 2050 elaborados por Macêdo (2005), cujas estimativas de demanda são também melhoradas neste trabalho.

Companies in food sector offer various packaging sizes to consumers to meet different household needs, where smaller packaging sizes often have a higher unit price than larger packaging sizes. Although response effort is considered a dimension of the cost to obtain reinforcement, little research has examined the economic impact of effort on demand for food. The goal of the present study was to explore the relationship between effort and demand.
